Had high hopes for our stay at Ahlbecker Hof but was disappointed. — The Hotel is in a nice location, the staff was very nice, breakfast top notch. However the biggest drawback is that we booked the hotel for the location, room design and layout, and view over the Baltic Sea. Instead we got a room in an entirely different building a block away from the hotel, the room looked nothing like the pictures advertised on the website, and zero ocean view. That was quite disappointing and misleading, and not worth the room rate.

We were once again guests at the Ahlbecker Hof together with our family and friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed the winegrowers' duel and the Grand Schlemm weekend as well as a few extra days. It's like “coming home” - as always, we received a very warm welcome from the staff. Both the valet service and reception were very attentive and respectful throughout our stay.

Only the service in the restaurant, especially at dinner, could top that. We enjoyed the excellent service every evening this time as well as the varied and exceptionally high-quality cuisine - it is simply not worth eating out anymore. We were and are spoiled too much every time.

The wine cellar and Mr. Tornow's wine advice are second to none, but the extremely attentive and professional service of the young service staff also suggests good guidance and training.

In particular, the fact that the staff throughout the hotel try to address guests by name shows the high quality of the hotel.

As always, the rooms were extremely comfortable, very clean and the cleaning and room service impeccable. We visited the spa area almost every day; enjoying the soft towels and sauna selection. Also worth noting - the only hotel with matching bathrobes; not too big and not too small - both for my wife and myself.

All in all, another very successful stay - we will be back as soon as possible and are already looking forward to the next Grand Schlemm or one of the gourmet canteens. We would love to come “home” again.

Everything was perfect, the room, the personnel , very good breakfast, nice spa, and best location in Usedom.
The hotel manager surprised my on with a birthday present from the hotel, which we found a very nice gesture.
I gave 9 points instead of 10 because of the internet (Wi-Fi) was very slow.

- Employees at reception doenst speek english
- there is no avalaible pricelist for room minibar, printed or avalaible at the reception on asking.
- parking spot for car is very long and complicated way and if you forget something in car, its hard to find it. I lost twice, before somebody lead me correct way.
- room is not air-conditioned, and its not possible open windows at evening, because there is lot of mosquitos.
- in front of our room, there is cart with dirty dishes - for two days!
- because the receptionists doesnt speak english, we are lack of informations about spa, beaches etc and there is no information letter or flyers in room! I was expecing some information package like map of the hotel (its very big), etc, Or in room, or in email.
- I book our visit at hotel website, in advance 3 weeks. But at the check in there was not information about us and it take long to find our reservation, even i have confirmation mail.
- our key cards stop working at the sexonf day, and nobody tells us (so i go all the way to the room, find out its closed and have to go at the way back to reception to change key card)
- cleanup was not perfect, there is lot of dust on wardrobe, which fall down on bed sometimes
- complicated light system on room, without any information how to shot it of. Some english information in email or in room will be helpfull
- when we like to choose the room on your website, its hard to find pictures when we see differences between types of room, so its kind of lottery
