Nice hotel, a bit quirky with lots of unusual ornaments and pictures. Friendly staff. We had half board and the food was delicious. Convenient parking across the road. 8 minute drive to Denzlingen where you can get frequent train into Freiburg- much better than driving. There is very little outside sunny space at this hotel which was a shame. Nowhere to relax outside. However there is an inside swimming pool and sauna.

The hotel felt very friendly, staff made us feel very at home. Lovely bedroom at the front of the hotel. Swimming pool was great. We had our grandchildren and they loved being there.
We will definitely come back again

Good location for site seeing in the black Forest. Very nice stuff that likes to help. The view from the back side is wow!

The pool looks like its out from a catalog.

On the down side no refrigerator In the rooms or mini bar, it's important if you want to keep food for the kids inside the room or drink a cold one.
Also no air conditioning system, so when it's hot is hot

We really liked this hotel. The room was very nice. Very good bed. A lot of nice touches. We loved the river next to the restaurant. We loved the view from the room. And the pool and sauna area was great. Only minus: The gym could use some weights.
We would come back!

What a nice family hotel. Very nice interior design which was traditional and modern at the same time. Swimming pool was small but nice for the kids

I travel frequently to the area to visit elderly relatives in Freiburg and Gundelfingen. Once my aunt's health started to deteriorate, we looked for other options to stay, so as not to create additional work for her. We found this place and have stayed here ever since. Service is impeccable and friendly. The breakfast buffet is great. The rooms are always comfortable and immaculate. Each time I return, I am made to feel like I am returning "Home", can there be a better compliment?

The guesthouse it's beautiful, old style design. The personal it's friendly and welcoming and the restaurant it's fabulos. The Best food ever. Even if the food price are higher than other restaurant, the service and the taste make you fell that it's deserving the many.

We stopped to have lunch and what a surprise. The best place around. Delicious venison and beef and fish, great coffee and cappuccino, friendly service. What more can you expect?

Lovely hotel in a beautiful village. Food is excellent and although the style of the rooms is a bit dated they are still comfortable. Bathroom was clearly very modern despite this. Overall a fantastic stay.
