Black Forest Gem A wonderful classic resort in the heart of the Black Forest.

Unfortunately we were not able to sit with our family and friends at dinner. Everyone had an assigned table.

This is one of my favourite hotels in the Black Forest, have stayed here several times now while I’m touring Europe. The food in the restaurant is great and the staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable both the double rooms and the bijou single rooms. I am planning on returning next year for my 6th time of staying here.

Great experience We had a 3 nights stay at Hotel Lamm, during our 3 weeks tour around Germany, this was honestly the best 3 nights. Room was spacious, it was very clean & the service was top. We ate in in the onsite restaurant all nights and food was good, breakfast was equally amazing.

Quiet Black Forest accommodations. Friendly and helpful staff at a nice hotel in a quiet corner of the Black Forest. Dining was very good, and while the breakfast was not elaborate it was tasty and staff kept the buffet stocked even during a morning rush. All in all a good value.

Very pleasant hotel, very friendly, for the carpet, 1 star deduction. Other: Note, important, if you want dinner and don't have a reservation as a hotel guest, you can't eat here. I didn't know that because it isn't written anywhere either. I arrived at 7:30 p.m., so I had to look around first in the closer area.

We stayed one night at the hotel and had an overall very good experience. The staff were really friendly and happy to help with any questions. It was great that we could have dinner at the hotel restaurant. In the morning, the breakfast was also perfect, with a variety of options. Rooms can be booked either in the hotel (with a private bathroom) or in the hostel section (with a shared bathroom).

You’ll notice that in the Black Forest most restaurants are likely to be situated inside a hotel that’s not always what a traveler wants. So it was pretty cool to find this restaurant catering for different tastes with a good service and the prices are still very competitive. It’s worth a visit when in the area.

This restaurant was one of the few open at 15.00 on Monday in this small town, so we decided to give it a try after a long hike. The staff was kind and served as immediately. The food was very delicious, especially the dish with regional mashrooms.

We spent a very enjoyable week at the Hotel Waldlust . I booked our stay with the hotel directly as their half board deals were very reasonably priced. Lovely, intimate, excellent space. What a cute inn to start our trip in Germany. Absolutely loved the town of Baiersbronn and the hotel staff were very kind and helpful.
