Easy hotel to stay at Great hotel with a download able app for doors and room access but until you're on the wifi, you need data roaming. Very clean and secure. Great location for the city market square. There's also a very relaxing coffee shop attached to the hotel.

Easy walk from the station, pedestrian area with many coffee/eating options as well as the coffee fellows Own facilities. Only negative was lift OOS on last day.

No frills hotel. The room was simple and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Lacks a bit in atmosphere. Reception is not open 24/7. Entry area is not very welcoming and is shared with other businesses. Good deal for the price.

Came for business trip intertabak but brought my wife and son along. Breakfast had limited choices but sufficient for business trip. Croissants are goood crispy and soft inside. Comfortable hotel with very nice food. Staff is friendly. Carpets need a touch up and some sound insulation would help.

This was the perfect hotel for us. We wanted a German experience and it delivered. Great service, people and ambience. We had visitors at dinner and they were welcomed without question and with flawless service.

Really lovely hotel, great location Very attractive building, easy to reach from the station, about 5 minutes walk. Room was lovely, up in the eaves, light and airy and I love the football themed artwork around the place, especially the one in the bedroom which covered one wall. Would recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, nice bar and they went out of their way to return the headphones I left in my room.

I was with my family last weekend for just 1 night and it was very pleasant, I have nothing to complain about. It is a hotel away from the center, modern and comfortable. We didn't arrive in time for dinner at the restaurant but it would certainly be an option. The room was clean, good supply of soap, towels and toilet paper. In the wardrobe were the slippers and plastic bags. Good cost-benefit.

Excellent hotel Every time we are going to Dortmund we book this hotel. It’s clean, staff friendly, breakfast delicious. Location perfect. Normally we check in online the day before which means at the hotel the check in takes only a minute. Everything just perfect.

In general, we had a good experience. The apartment was comfortable and very spacious. It is not the most modern, and could do with some renovations, but it’s clean and functional.

Location is excellent with walking distance from themain railway station in Dortmund. Another advantage is that the bus stop for the airport express, which is opposite the railway station on the left hand side is also only a five minute walk. The reception was very helpful and supportive. The room was clean nd quite. Wifi worked well. Behind the hotel are many shops and restaurants in about 10 minutes...

Good hotel, there was a fridge and a safe in the room. Less than 5 minutes to the historical center and the train station. There is nothing to do in Dortmund itself, you can only go to football and that's it.

Overall, for the price, it was fantastic. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning. Otherwise, I was completely satisfied :)

Room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very accommodating as our floor had no hot water for our entire stay and they made a plan to get us a hot shower. The breakfast is not worth the additional cost.

Since 2018 I've been staying in the Grey Hotel for over 50 nights in total but I don't find any reason to switch to another hotel. Located inside Wallring, 2 minute walk from Dortmund Hbf and staff is helpful. I'll keep using it when I have a business trip to Dortmund.

Hotel Neuhaus is somewhat basic in its furnishings but everything is thoughtfully planned and laid out. For example, there is a chair on the landing between floors. Nice quiet place to stay for one night

I had a great time at the hotel, the staff were great, they were very helpful to me, they couldn't do enough for you. they are worth 20 out of 10 for friendliness and helpfulness. the place is kept very clean and the food is great. would recommend anyone to stay there, as I will again.

Great hotel - will return when in Dortmund. The room was exceptionally spacious, with plenty of storage space for clothes and belongings. One of the lights wasn’t working but to be honest I forgot to report it. It had a little fridge which was great for keeping my beers cool! The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Room for improvement Pictures were inaccurate and misleading. Initial impression was of a hotel which rents rooms by the hour! Convoluted access to the room and right at the top, up many flights of stairs. I was glad to be travelling light! Room was small with very little hanging space and only 2 hangars. Nice spot for a night or two. Stayed for euros. Nice room, amazingly comfortable bed. The bathroom is only seperated by a sliding door which was weird for us. Super overpriced, however for non euro trips may be a good choice if it is economical. Close to metro, not near much else.

Reasonable. Receptionist looked miserable on arrival. No lifts in the property so obviously had to use the stairs. Rooms were quite small, no air conditioning or fans and so the windows had to remain open. The main street was very noisy and so found it difficult to sleep. Coffee machine in each room, but you have to pay 1 euro per pod and use a plastic cup. Shower and toilet had sliding doors...

The best hotel we have ever booked in Dortmund. The person who worked there was even able to speak Netherlands, polish and English and did very well in preparing the breakfast.

Cozy little hotel at a convenient location close to public transport. The rooms are well sized and well equipped. Breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly and eager to help out anytime. Unfortunately there is no elevator and they seem to have issues with their credit card machine quite frequently. Overall a nice choice of hotel in downtown Dortmund. Definitely great value for money!

Heater is not working. The bathroom had no drainage so water was piling up which was a problem.

The stay was accompanied by an incident.

Needless to say, the three-star rating is because it does not deserve four stars. All of them are generals and generals and can only be said to be liveable.

Functions as a city hotel, clean, beds OK, shower small but OK, bed linen and towels white and clean, breakfast also good, but unfortunately the elevator is out of order and it is tiring to climb 2 flights of stairs.

Check-in went smoothly. Ctrip provided help. The hotel's exterior is average and the room is large.

Good little budget hotel, a bit worn and rough around the edges, but good size rooms and just about clean enough to spend a short time in central Dortmund. Lots of good amenities around and it's a very vibrant and diverse area.

A good hotel for its price. Not so modern or cool, but very close to the railway station and at a good price. What is not convenient - the reception working hours. We were lucky that our arrival time was not late. Just the guests must be aware of it. TV was not working that made my dad not happy )

The location is vrty close to the main train station. The room is very clean. Even though there is not a shower in the room, the shared shower room is very clean and easy to use. The only draw back is it is a bit hot after an afternoon of.sunshine. There is no aircon. I open the window and door for half an hour then it is ok.

The location is good, the room is large, very clean and hygienic, the bed is large, and the comforter is clean. The sleep was great.

Nice people in the reception. The bath has a shower but you have to use with your arm, is not in the wall.

We stayed 3 nights over a weekend in April in this very nice small hotel. We had a large room in the new building next to the old hosue with the restaurant. The interior including the bathroom was very modern and worked very well. Very little noise from other guests or from the traffic. Breakfast was traditionally German, fresh and delicious.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer modern und sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen.

The building was big and open, outside is a nice walking route behind the carpark, free car park was a great touch, bakery & restaurant down stairs in the main part off the building

This gem of a place is located in the outskirts of Dortmund. The quality of food is very good with lots of Vegetarian options and salads. Their breads are awesome 👌

stayed there exactly for a month and i can say the cleaning and staff were beyond enough, i always found a clean aired room and in winter season the heating system is really good. the breakfasts are rich, open buffet. a good place to stay at anytime. the staff will always be there for you when you ask. strongly recommend and try burgerland there

Just had a wonderful 4 night stay at Hotel Daun. Very comfortable rooms, wonderful food and terrific staff.

Very good standard, good walking distance to the city center

I do - however - usually sleep on my belly and without a pillow... thus I require an unusually hard mattress (which is almost never available anywhere). The world apparently consists of "back-sleepers" only. ;-)

I booked this place because it said it had parking. I did not expect the hotel parking to be free. However, when I got there they told me you have to book the parking in advance and that I can park in the paid parking across the boulevard which costs only 16 EUR / day. It ended up costing 31 EUR for 10 hours.

Great hotel, very nice any tidy rooms with working air-con. Absolutely can't fault it for that price. £15 hotel car park at the back. Young guy at the reception was great! Very friendly and helpful - top service!

Position of a hotel is very good, if one is comming with a car. I think that a rooms are small, withouth a desk, where one can put his laptop to work or to read (book, newspaper or something else). We stayed here for 4 nights and it’s a lovely hotel. Each and every staff is helpful felt like home. The only disadvantage is that it’s far from the central station. So if you don’t have a car, this place isn’t recommended even though it’s one of the best properties to stay in. They have happy hour (free) for hot chocolate and coffee and that’s very nice. While checking out this morning the manager at the hotel said the credit card Trip.com provided kept getting declined, so we were forced to pay twice. While I understand there was an issue with the trip.com payment, this should be handled by the hotel and the booking service. Or they should have alerted me earlier during my stay and not while I was about to check out with a travel connection that...

The maximum check-in time is 10pm and no one is allowed after that time… so if there is a train delay and we arrive after 10pm, it’s impossible, luckily I arrived at 9:45pm.

I have been a guest at this hotel for years and have always felt comfortable. Unfortunately, that has changed. The rooms are still OK, but some are pretty worn out. Breakfast is overpriced for the service! And the price shown when booking is not the final price, there is also 10% accommodation tax! You might as well include that! Parking costs money too, but half the parking lot is full of junk cars...

Location is good. The bed was bad, matras was to worn for confort. The check in system could work if set up propperly, my room key dit not work, getting assistance was hard, finaly bij phone my room key was activated.

Great, convenient and cheap Easy to find. Right next to a station in order to get the subway to Signal Iduna Park. Christmas market literally 30 seconds away and a lush kebab place next door.

No face to face check-in. There is a machine at the door - you enter your surname and the main door and room key is dispensed. It’s about ten minutes walk from the Hbf - very comfy little room w.TV, shower, toilet - ideal for a quick overnight stay.
