A very comfortable and welcoming family-run hotel. The owners are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and mine had a balcony looking out over the Neckar, perfect place to relax after a busy day

The other (triple) room had 2 cups. Lighting ineffective and some not working. This is not a place to hang out. We didn't try breakfast (€15 each) based on them not getting the important details of comfort right

We noticed the toilet roll had been folded into points, my shower hat from home - which I'd hung up, had been thrown away and the beds left UNMADE. We had a kettle and no cups or spoons

Very friendly hotel, with a nice sauna service and a buffet breakfast. The family room is very good with a children room with toys that kept the children quite happy.

It’s a nice hotel, with a very good breakfast. A nice option for people who only needs a WiFi, breakfast and some rest. Though it is away from the city center, there is a direct train right from the hotel to the center

Quiet night, comfortable bed, strong hot shower, what else do you need? Right, great breakfast :) And dinner was great too, they have a restaurant downstairs. Lady of the house told me they are under new management.

There's abundant transport links to the city centre, central train station (Hauptbahnhoff) or both. On top of that, the hotel ensures that you get to your room even outside of reception hours

The location is central on Hauptstraße which meant we could walk the old town and shop/eat/site see including the Old Bridge. The reception was helpful and responsive, and the accommodation was quiet

Clean hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff. The location is excellent as well, right on the main walking street of Heidelberg.

During the evenings, the street performers outside would play their instruments, and we could hear the beautiful music in our room, which was magical. There's no elevator though, so try to reduce the luggage

When I arrived, Sebastian kindly helped me with my luggage and even brought it up to my room, which I truly appreciated after a long day of travel

He helped me with my heavy bags, walking with me over the cobblestone streets all the way to the Old Bridge (Alte Brücke) so I could catch a taxi from there

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Zur Alten Brücke! The breakfast was fantastic—fresh, varied, and beautifully presented each morning. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel right at home

The breakfast was excellent, local fresh bread, a variety of cheeses, hams, plenty of yoghurt, musli, jams and even a small cake. You can sit outside during the day, there are tables and chairs around the hotel

Dog friendly place if you plan to bring your furry friend along. All in all, a home away from home with a kind, welcoming staff. The best, it’s a 15 min walk to the schloss and the Altstadt

Beautiful town Overnight stay whilst driving to Spain. Lovely town, easy to find good food, and really enjoyed stay.

Room was good standard, clean etc. One staff member gave us map and advised on attractions to see. Hotel is on a hill, near the castle, about 30min stroll to city centre

Breakfast had good choice of food, but for other meals you'll need to go into town, by car, taxi or foot. Aside from looking for day meals, it was very good experience

The restaurant entrance also serves as the hotel entrance. There's paid parking nearby for €19 per day. The location is excellent—parking can be a bit difficult, but the accommodation itself is very convenient.

The hotel is an old building, which exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean, and the location right next to the Old Bridge was very convenient and quiet. The hotel receptionists were very helpful

We stayed here years ago and visiting/eat here everytime we're in Heidelberg. The sauerkraut orgy is amazing along with their beer selection.

Great breakfast variety in a very nice breakfast room. Hotel was in a great location, walkable to everything, close to the river and castle. Our room was a little noisy as it faced the street, but didn’t keep me awake.

Quaint, older hotel right in the heart of the cathedral square. No air conditioning, but a big fan and all of the windows opened to allow a lot of cool air. Some street noise later into the summer nights, which I liked

Our room has a nice size and many windows for natural breeze and air. It also includes the decent quality breakfast, which is very convenient. The only challenge is for the Uber driver to pick us up

What a lovely farm-like atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and garden/courtyard was very warm and cozy. There was a bit of a fly issue but other than that it was quite charming.

The low-key hotel focused on functionality and Bauhaus art was a nice surprise as i only needed a night rest during travel by car. Its clean and well maintained. Sleeping was a dream.

What a lovely little hotel nestled in the foothills of the Heidelberg Palace and steps away from historic sites & the best shops and restaurants! The hotel staff (Jasmine) was among the most welcoming to encounter and truly attentive to insuring guests had a pleasant and comfortable stay

Parking is in the public garage below the hotel which is super convenient and they give you a card to get a discount! The hotel has either a city view or castle view, we had the city view and could not have been more pleased! Super clean rooms

Everybody was so nice and helpful! I had a car carrier that would not fit in the parking garage and they let me take it off and bring it up to their storage room until we left

The front desk was amazing, even carried my bag up the stairs💕. Any questions were answered. Gave great recommendations for dinner. From our window you could see the castle

The location is great and you can take a tram to heidelberg. There are a lot of nice restaurants near the hotel. They also have a free parking. The staff is really friendly

We were at the restaurant; you can eat greek there and all the dishes were fantastic.

Nice room but no king size bed. Only single bed :( night check-in works perfectly, but the security of it doesn't look great as the side door was left open.

We were staying in an apartment with 2 children. Kitchen seems to be quite well equipped. What was great is that sofa was covered to two single beds for kids - they had a separate mattress and everything else

Everything is perfect! The room is well equipped, with everything you need for making your own meals if you are tired of dining out everyday. Separate shower and toilet is also an amazing and thoughtful move

I recommend you do both, one at sunset and one at sunrise 🌄🌅 the TV didn't work so well, but ee didn't care because Heidelberg is entertaining enough!
