Luxurious and delightful property by the river, just across the bridge from old Heidelberg. We loved the beautiful decor, the robes and slippers, comfy bed, cozy sitting area, and plenty of books to read! The breakfast was next level- everything you could want after a morning hike up the schlangenweg or up to the Schloss. Or both. I recommend you do both, one at sunset and one at sunrise 🌄🌅 the TV didn't work so well, but ee didn't care because Heidelberg is entertaining enough!

Honestly we would come back here if time allows. Aside for some minor details these rooms we’re very Nice to stay in for multiple days. The location is perfect and the staff are friendly.

David & Lore September 7 thur 10 2025 My wife was born in Boblingen after 65 years returned to all the cities her family had pictures in black and white and recreated those same picture but in color.. This has to be the best hotel we ever had the pleasure to stay in. The views, location, staff, and charming suite saying superb is an understatement...the note in our suite was extra special treat after flying and traveling for 18 hours. Heidelberg was the best part of our 5 city tour...thank you Heidelberg suites, Hutter family for a wonderful Hotel...that feels like home. Next vist we will be staying for a month..

My husband and I stayed at House of Hütter during our trip to Germany, and from the moment we arrived, it was an absolute pleasure. Sofie welcomed us and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. As soon as we entered our suite, we knew we were in for a wonderful experience. Everything felt so cozy and inviting—and the view from our room was simply breathtaking. We could see Heidelberg Castle perched by the river right from our window! Breakfast was a delight, with the beautiful breakfast tower and the option to have eggs prepared just the way we liked. Sofie kindly provided us with a list of local restaurants to try which made the evening seamless and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I would highly recommend House of Hütter to anyone visiting the area!

Ok perfect hotel. Great location beautiful rooms. Friendly staff. Air conditioning. Close to old Heidelberg. Wish we stayed her longer and ditched Rothenburg earlier. Definitely stay here again. Be sure to reserve parking if you have a car.

Located just opposite the Heidelberg Citadel, this boutique hotel offers direct access to the pedestrian bridge leading into the historic center. With only a limited number of rooms, guests enjoy a highly personalized and attentive service that makes every stay feel special. Parking is available upon request, adding to the convenience. The rooms are beautifully decorated, blending comfort and style, and while the food is decent, the serene lounge area provides a perfect space to unwind or get some work done.

My husband and I recently stayed at House of Hütter | Heidelberg Suites for two nights during our trip through Germany to explore the Christmas markets. While our stay was fine, it fell short of being exceptional. The property seems like it might have been stunning in its prime, but it now feels a bit dated. We noticed several issues, including mold and mildew in the rooms, damaged curtains and lampshades, wall markings, and an overuse of artificial plants throughout the space. Pictures were literally falling out of their frames, giving the space an unpolished and neglected look.

Additionally, our tea light candle was completely burned out when we checked into the room, which made the space feel less clean. I requested a replacement candle and was assured one would be delivered to our room, but it never arrived. The hot tub was also out of order, and the landscaping appeared messy and unkempt, which was surprising given the hotel's glowing reviews online.

On the bright side, our room had a wonderful view of the castle and old town area, which was truly a highlight of our stay. However, the spa left much to be desired—it was quite small, and after staying at a hotel in Nuremberg that offered complimentary saunas, we were surprised by the additional charge to use the sauna here.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, but they seemed young and relatively inexperienced, which sometimes left the service feeling a bit disorganized. Overall, while the location and view were lovely, the overall experience didn’t live up to the high expectations set by its online reputation.

What a coincidence. I came to the hotel and found out that I had stayed there 7 years ago. Very, very good. This is what motivated me to come to Heidelberg. Breakfast was perfect. The front desk helped make reservations for a good on-board restaurant for dinner.

My room was mini, the bathroom even smaller. Although a TV set was there only a few German stations were available, no international, or even English, stations to watch. One 🌟 for the central location and another for the friendly staff. I didn't try the restaurant which could have earned another 🌟

Ended up here because it was the only restaurant with tables available in a Sunday night! Staff was very welcoming. They serve good traditional German options and have a good selection of beers and wines. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and sitting outside looking at people passing by in a warm summer evening

Chanced upon this very pretty restaurant while looking for a place to chill on a Sunday evening after dinner in Heidelberg and was immediately attracted to the warm ambience of this place. We had some drinks and a dessert which we thought is very special - lemon sherbet in sparkling wine. It was so relaxing sipping the wine and watching people walk by.
