We recently got married at the Berghotel, and cannot have imagined a better day. My husband & I are based in the US, but have family in Germany. We needed a location that had comfortable spaces - enough for 110 guests - and a separate venue for the wedding party that people could walk to. The Berghotel was truly stunning - our guests keep telling us it is one of the most beautiful hotels they have been to. The staff was incredibly helpful and supportive and our weekend was truly magical.

Staff everywhere was very friendly, and we highly appreciated this! The food had a lot of choice and it was cooked very nicely! The room was clean and fully met our expectations. Great location and amazing views! We would 100% be back!

This hotel has a lovely location and beautiful views of the countryside. Our room was comfortable, but not very big. The staff was efficient. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner and the food was very good. The breakfast buffet is well stocked and there is a chef who will make you a delicious omelet. The fish I had in the evening was also tasty. We were there for two evenings. On the first evening at dinner the service was quite good; on the second evening the service was terribly slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Our waitress was friendly but we had the impression that she was chatting with coworkers in the kitchen the whole time. Our dinner took over two hours! The wellness area features several saunas and steam rooms as well as a nice pool. I felt that the outside lounge area could be better cared for. There were no cushions on the lounge chairs outside. The wifi in our room was poor, the service was erratic as I had to keep logging in. This is a real minus for a 4 star hotel and needs to be improved. In general I found the hotel to be expensive but perhaps that is the going rate these days.

Large and comfortable rooms with lovely views. There are great walking trails around the hotel. The staff is helpful and very kind.

The hotel is very clean and looks charming even if it's not new, there are small details that makenyour stay confortable, the way to come up to the hill is not easy for at winter time, I would highly recommend to use an all wheel drive car to come. The food at the restaurant is very nice and the rooms for conferences and trainings are perfect. Very many spa options in here and a nice swimming pool as well.

A typical 1980 hotel except for the rooms. The rooms are nicely and well renovated but the rest is old fashioned. The service personal is trained very well and friendly as well as knowledgeable. Nevertheless, the food was not pleasant. The kitchen chef needs more training, therefore 3 stars.
