Best Western Plus Hotel Fuessen in Fussen

First time I tried a BW hotel, I took a three-night stay, and it is also the last time.

The room smells bad if you activate the A/C (you know you are supposed to clean these, right? otherwise, it can become dangerous).

The shower is moldy (again, the black spots all over your wall are not normal or dirt... these are molds, which is also the source of the bad smell in the shower... fix it; it's quite easy to do and won't cost much).

They have their own branded soap, which is horrible. Don't tell me a brand like WB can't have a soap deal OR AT LEAST, not doing a 3-in-1 shower soap....

Breakfast is simply basic, and nothing looks fresh, with all the flies in the food, to avoid.

The room has no complimentary water, but you can buy the plastic bottle in the mini-bar...

When we raised the issue, their only solution was to make us pay for a comfort room - they had no other room otherwise (it was cheaper for us than going to another hotel)

The comfort room had no mold but had a dog smell and fur all over the bed AND the extra duvets for the sofa-bed in the closet. It's fine that you allow pets, but can you clean your stuff??? Although, still better than breathing moldy air.

Not sure how this hotel got its four stars. At least the restaurant was good.

There are a lot of hotels in the area at the same price. Unless you really have a very good deal or you have no other choice, do not go there.

And if you go there, avoid spending too much time in your room for your health (as they seem not to know when something is moldy, and the quality of the air is questionable). Also, don't do breakfast.
