Be ok with stairs to the 4th floor Front desk staff condescending and rude. Elevation is as they say is the smallest in Europe. We could only put our bags in it and room on the 4th floor. Room was awesome. Check in staff needs a job not in customer service. Morning staff was amazing.

The hotel was comfortable. We had a room with a kitchen. Some of the plates & cutlery stored in the kitchen cabinets were dirty. There was also silverfish in the room. On the positive side, there was free flow of coffee, tea and hot chocolate available at the lobby. The staff were friendly.

Two people came to attend the exhibition in Germany. The hotel is very close to the exhibition center. It takes eight to ten minutes to drive directly to the hotel. Parking is charged at 5 euros a day. The breakfast is quite rich. It's very close to the airport. From the departure level of Stuttgart Airport, you can see the P6 parking garage in the distance. Then cross the skybridge and walk straight for 5-10 minutes. It's very convenient. The room size is acceptable. I checked in two hours early, and the hotel checked me in for free.

Transportation is quite convenient, and it's not far from Stuttgart Airport. Considering that Stuttgart time is relatively late, staying here is very convenient. Booking late might mean there aren't any rooms available, which can be quite stressful.

Why was the air conditioning broken?

The hotel is within 2-3 minutes walk to the Airport Terminal but the buildings are not connected. Walking outdoor in the morning was a bit cold. Easier to find if you are taking the S lines to the airport. The U line is further away from it. Helpful staff and have everything a traveler will need.

The location is perfect, close to the airport. The room is nice and clean. The only small problem is that the fridge was not cold. We had to call the reception, they offered us to put our food the the fridge at reception. They only gave us one bath robes, we called and they said they were running out of bath robes.

Everything was good, except the service is bad, first they charge +1 day room rate if check in few hours earlier, and for the luggage, they don’t handle it for you, they will give you a stroller and you have to pull your luggage by yourself . Otherwise location is great for early flight

The room was very nice and the hotel had a nice feel to it. However the communication with the staff was a little difficult. We were told our room would be ready in 10-15 minutes and had to wait for 2 hours before it was ready. We also had asked to get a tray picked up from our room and when returning we found the tray was still there. The food from the restaurant was great though!

The location is tough to call as it is right at the top of the hill so whether you are pushing your luggage upwards or bring them down, it is pretty tiring. The staff are fantastic though and they offer a lot of help and advice on what to do and how and where to go. Service certainly great here.

The room was classic, the facilities were a bit old, but the cleanliness was good. The front desk staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. The only downside was the hotel's location; it's on a hill, so walking there from the station with a lot of luggage was quite a hassle.

I travelled for business and so wasn't needing lots of amenities...clean bedroom, food, bar. Bedroom was fine, but restaurant had closed when I arrived at 19:30 or so. I was told the bar glossed at 20:00, so went out for food ( bar did serve pizza I was told), arrived back to the bar for a nice red wine...not. the bar was closed at 20:50. I was given a room upgrade I was told on arrival. Hard to see...

Was greeted by a rather unpleasant employee during my check-in. Trying to explain things like a child is demeaning, DON'T do it!! For a room costing 140€ a night, I expect to not have any complains. But the rooms lock system is so unresponsive, you need multiple attempts to unlock and in the room, the part of the roof which is supporting the air conditioning was tainted so much and needed maintenance...

We've booked this hotel for a quick rest after a long drive, and everything was nice and easy. The room was clean, and the bed was so comfy.

Great value for a nice room in a location just 15-20 minutes driving time to Stuttgart city centre. Breakfast is great too.

I was on a business trip, the experience was ok, the service was ok, the charger just fell off in the end, and it was delivered to the airport for free.

The front desk was warm and patient, but the water temperature in the room was very high in the middle of the night on the first day of check-in and could not be used. The problem was solved after helping to change rooms. The facilities are relatively old, and the breakfast is OK.

The staff went out of their way to help us and make us comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay.

An Enjoyable Stay Really enjoyed my stay at Hetzel hotel. Room was really big for a single Bathroom was very clean with a nice shower. Breakfast wasn't five star but it had all I needed to give me a good start in the morning. Not a lot of dialogue with reception,which I believe,is a good thing. Nice surroundings and U-trains were frequent and close to walking distance. Only negative was the price is...

A very nice hotel, my room was comfortable and spacious. The check in was 5 minutes, although the receptionist was not really friendly, but the other stuff was very nice. There is also a parking space for free. The food was ok. Overall everything was ok, I recommend it.

I have stayed here for couple of weeks during my business trips. I liked it very much. Friendly staff, good rooms and perfect breakfast. In summer the garden is open so you can have you breakfast there. The restaurant in the hotel is perfect also. Friendly staff, good food and beer!

We had such a wonderful experience staying at Hetzel Hotel! Although the hotel looks small from the outside, but the room is very spacious, clean, and updated. The hotel staffs are very friendly, including the breakfast attendant. The breakfast was excellent as well. The hotel staffs were able to fulfill my special request to get the top floor room and in a quieter area at the back side of the hotel...

I had higher expectations for this hotel and i feel that it made me more frustrated with the experience. Not four stars - the price was pretty low which should have been a warning, everything costs extra once you arrive. One device free on wifi, second is 2 euros/day? Parking very limited and difficult to maneuver, streets are very cramped. Toilet was fixed to wall and sagged and groaned when i sat...
