Dormero Hotel Stuttgart in Stuttgart

It feels like a converted nightclub, comparable to a guesthouse in China.

I rarely write reviews, but this was truly terrible. The bathroom light was out, there was no toilet paper, no drinking water, the room felt like it hadn't been lived in for a long time, and the hallway was simply unsanitary. It was an extremely bad experience.

I've never stayed in such a bad hotel.

Update: below is my initial review. Well we had to come back to this hotel for 7 days. This time they moved us to a higher floor to get away from the knocking supposedly. This is our first night and guess what still very loud knocking that woke me up. This is the hotel business and people come to relax and be in comfort. They should have closed or not put people in rooms any where near the knocking. Then there are issues with the locks. I had to go down twice and there been roaches spotted in other rooms, fridges not working in the rooms. This hotel needs to be just closed and renovated then reopened. I've stayed at many other domero brands that aren't like this. The young guy at the front desk is nice and really tried to be accommodating but he can only do so much. This is a business trip so unfortunately I just can't change hotels.

This hotel looks good in the lobby but far from it. They have renovations going on and it's literally right above us. From 8am or earlier to 6pm... we complained and they were suppose to change our rooms, but didn't. They don't care just trying to make money. Nobody want to hear that all day. They should close the floors that's next to or below the construction. The breakfast wasn't great at all. Soggy pancakes and bacon was not cooked enough.... just not a great experience....

Stayed for 3 nights and whilst the hotel is clean there was zero housekeeping despite requesting fresh towels on numerous occasions. The rooms were not clean for the duration of our stay, probably wouldn't use this hotel again.

⭐ I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
During our stay, there were ongoing renovations from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no electricity in the sockets and no light in the bathroom. The rooms were not cleaned regularly, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, and there were no basic amenities such as coffee or the option to make a hot drink. Additionally, there is no free parking for hotel guests. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

1. The hotel had no WiFi.
2. Far from everything.
3. Before checking in, I tried the restaurant it took over 15 minutes for my water to arrive.
3. When checking in, on two separate occasions my room key would not work so I went up and down for replacements, one of the times I sat there waiting for over 20 minutes with no response. Finally checked in, still no WiFi, TV doesn’t work.
4. I was offered a complementary breakfast as a resolution. Wouldn’t stay again.
