The hotel is close to the subway line, and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel itself is rather old, the mattresses are not very comfortable, and the rooms have electric fans, but no air conditioning. There was road construction downstairs when I checked in, so it was quite noisy. However, overall the price-performance ratio is acceptable.

The location and cleanliness are excellent for the price; it's a real value for money. It's among the best and most affordable hotels I've stayed in, and it's among the top choices. The only issue is the small elevator, so the room isn't a big deal.

We walked from Stuttgart main station (lots of building works, lots of lengthy walkways) to this nice hotel. Our room was very clean & comfortable with a nice shower. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. Plus, a reasonable price for the accommodation. In a nice neighbourhood with several good restaurants within walking distance.

It was quaint and nice for three people. The breakfast was good. The location was well situated. You can catch a train easily. I felt comfortable and would have stayed again, but not in the summer. Our room didn’t have air conditioner. In a heatwave I would not stay there because the room would be too hot even with an open window. In the winter, I would definitely consider it.

We stayed at the Hotel Stern for one night. The bed was quite comfortable, but it was a bit small and the floor and bathroom were not that clean. The location of the hotel was convenient, as we were quickly in the city center and the train station.

Staffs are nice here. Just don't expect the bath room and tiolet are shared.

This is not a big chain hotel. If you’re looking for family comfort and a family friendly atmosphere, this is the place. The host was very friendly and spoke good English. This is a nice and cozy family hotel. The prices are very good and you can get everywhere you need to relatively quickly. I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff is and how they make you feel like family. Great people!!!

A pleasant stay at this hotel. The man on the welcome desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was the perfect size, the shower was very pleasant and I found the room to be very well soundproofed as I never heard a thing all night! The lady serving breakfast was lovely and efficient. The hotel was great; it was close to the station, the room was spacious, and it had both a shower and a bathtub. However, I received an email saying I could check in online after the check-in time, but when I went there about 20 minutes later, I was told the room wasn't ready yet. Room is quite small and the bed is too small and kind of worn out. The room had no AC and it was 32°C outside. It only had a fan, and we had to sleep with windows open and the loud fan on. Breakfast was simple, and we went 1h before closing and most of the things were already gone and not filled up any longer.

Just it was okay for one night

I am checking out today. This is my fourth stay in the past couple of years. I had a single with a renovated bathroom. I am always happy when i don’t have to climb over and into a tub for a shower. The room is very clean and was serviced daily. Breakfast is ample, with good variety. Service is friendly. Recommendations: get rid of the carpeting and an umbrella or two for guests would be great.

You need to pay for the internet

Quite old decoration, but the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean with a fully stocked mini fridge. Other than that the mattress could be a bit better, as it seemed it had lived most of it's days.

If you mean the prices, then you unfortunately come in the wrong time, as they travelled in a high-season Phase and in the whole of Stuttgart, no rooms are available, and this is all to much higher prices than here. Hotel has an automatic check in. Basic room, with small batgroom, and basic breakfast.

The hotel is fine in general, however two things need to improve: Breakfast has to be better. The bathroom is so so soooo small that it is impossible to move without squeezing your body between the door and WC/shower.

Very nice ambience, price-performance is unbeatable and the taste of the Hammer. The meat had a super quality and all of the appetizers and side dishes were fresh and delicious! Clearly recommendable, and a real Alternative to the Steakhouse chains and American Dinners!
