I stayed at Garner Hotel Stuttgart – Zuffenhausen by IHG for 10 nights.

The hotel is clean, simple, and affordable. The location is convenient. It is close to the train station, which makes it easy to reach Stuttgart city center or nearby towns.

Check-in was fast and smooth. The staff are friendly and helpful, which makes the stay more comfortable.
The room is on the small side but functional. Everything was clean and well maintained.

One drawback is that the room does not have a safe. You need to take valuables like passports, credit cards, and cash with you when you leave the room.

The hotel is very basic. There are no amenities such as a gym or pool.
Breakfast is available, but it is not included even for IHG Platinum Elite or Ambassador members.

Overall, it is a good option if you want a clean, budget-friendly hotel with easy train access. Just do not expect luxury or extra facilities.

We had a problem with our Booking.com reservation, and the receptionist offered us a room (not yet available) so we could spend the night.

We are very grateful. The service has been excellent.

The room was decent — spacious, clean, and nice. However, our room was located near the parking lot, which made it a bit noisy at night due to doors closing from the parking area to the hotel. Another downside was that the same product was used for body wash, hair wash, and hand wash, and it wasn’t refilled during our stay. Although the staff mentioned they would provide toiletries upon request, that didn’t happen for us.

The room ventilation and temperature control could also be improved — it felt quite warm at night even in winter, so we had to use the extra standing fan provided. The controller was confusing and not working properly

On the positive side, the hotel’s location is very convenient, with easy access to trams and trains, and supermarkets and other stores nearby.

The room is fine, nothing wrong and to be honest it is quite good. The bathroom space is big and clean. BUT, if you got unlucky like me, you will experience that your room is beside the parking lot and near that there is a big door and people slam the door back and forth even in 2-3AM. The room doesn’t have a good soundproof too. If you are light sleeper, you won’t get to sleep there. And if you are lucky, some people also knock your door just for fun (maybe because it’s near the parking lot), i’ve got it twice in the night.

Also, the room is oddly hot enough and for some reason you need to use the Fan provided by the hotel. It is winter season by the way. There were no water boiler, and Wi-FI is not even working. Fortunately some staff are nice, so 1 star only for them.

Location is only good because it nears the U15, other than that, nothing worth mentioning.

The room was fine, except for some weird opaque stains on the walls and the fact that there was no air ventilation in the bathroom, poor choice.

There was no internet connection in our room. We complained about that to the staff three times and we got three different replies: "we will call it support" (first night), "there is nothing we can do about it except for offering you a different room" (second night), "we are sorry about it, you are right" (third morning).
And not all the receptionists were able to speak English properly.

The breakfast was okay but there could surely have been more choice regarding the sweet side.

Hotel is closed due to the corona virus. Even though i booked ahead and messaged them.ahead concerning parking solutions they never thought to mention to me the hotel is actually closed. Now staying at their Stuttgart Rega hotel. Room at the topfloor which is very hot. My suggestion, find another hotel when planning the trip...

The staff are really nice. The room is clean and tidy.
I took one star for not having free early check-in and free late check-out. I took another star because the pillow is not puff and there's no toothpaste.

One single bedroom. A bit cold. Simple. Clean. What was worth it , was the buffet breakfast. Really tasty, and for the price was alright.

Nice friendly staff with welcoming 24h reception. Walking distance from Zuffenhausen train station and walking distance to Porsche museum. Food outlets and other local shops also within walking distance. Hotel also offers baggage storage (a great help for me personally). Room was comfortable and adequately equipped as well as clean and a good quality/price ratio in my opinion.

I rate the cleanliness very high for this hotel. To the point of being clinical. The breakfast is great value for money as far as I was concerned although I don't know what the going rate is. The area is quiet and there's a U train just down the road which was very convenient. I missed a kettle in the room.
