The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the center of Ulm. The staff is extremely polite and helpful, the room was very clean with comfortable anatomical mattresses, and the breakfast was rich with a wide variety of options. Excellent service overall.

I am so glad that single rooms are a thing in Germany. It's all you need as a traveller. The location was so handy too. Only odd thing was no soap in the sink, so you had to lean over into the shower to get it from the dispenser. A bit awkward. But I'm glad they have a dispenser rather than those wasteful miniatures.

WOMEN BEWARE! I witnessed a male employee (the man with glasses) sneaking pictures of me with his phone. He was following me from behind and was seemingly taking pictures of my behind. When I turned around to see him aiming his phone towards my bum, he looked to the sky and fiddled with random objects as if nothing happened. In hindsight, I also recall this man following me out the hotel on one other occasion, as well as knocking on my door even though I had clearly put the « Do not disturb » sign on my doorknob. This is a shame because the rest of my 3-night experience here as well as the rest of the staff were great. But for other women considering staying here, I would caution against it. I’ve contacted the hotel about this and they seemed not to believe me, although said they would call a staff meeting to get to the bottom of the matter. For those of you reading, believe me when I say the man was 100% taking pictures of me or filming me. I encourage the management to comment on this review with the follow up of this staff meeting.

I travel to Ulm frequently for business and have stayed at this hotel 5~6 times. It is an authentic, traditional German hotel that will only enrich your experience in Ulm. The hotel is centered in the middle of the city next to the cathedral, only minutes from tons of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, grocery stores etc. The restaurant inside the hotel is absolutely amazing with a huge variety of traditional, home cooked German food; perhaps the best food I've had in Germany to date. The restaurant gets very busy on the weekends with locals, thus confirming it's some of the best food in town. I don't speak a word of German, but the hotel owners are kind, courteous and go out of their way to help with my requests. It's quiet, comfortable, safe, and a great part of the travel experience. Not a party hotel. The rooms have an amazing view of the 600yr old Ulmer Munster as well which never gets old. Highly recommended if you are in Ulm!

We only ate lunch here, service & food were great. Very close to the Munster. Pics are from the ceiling in the restaurant.

Very friendly personell at reception, check in/ check out without problems, rooms are nice, we even got baby crib without asking for it for our 2 year old. Look and equipment aren't from 2020 but it does the job. Location is fantastic, you can see most of town's sights in about 2 hours on foot. If you come with car I recomend parking in Parkhous am Rathous - underground garage just across the street from hotel and it isn't expensive. We had car there overnight from 3pm to 10am and payed 13€.

The restaurant was great! Our server was very patient while we figured out the menu and the food was very good!

Annoying was, that I didn't get my bag back that I left in the bathroom. The room was moderately, quite noisy.

Top location directly at the Münster with underground Parking in the immediate vicinity
Single room very closely refurbishment / but still acceptable.
