We are on a side-quest of eating lava cakes around the world. Here is our review for lava cake number 17, which we ate at this address at a restaurant called Restaurant Poseidon. Sadly, it now seems to be permanently closed. We will still leave our review though!

This lava cake sadly had no lava :( the vanilla ice cream that went with it was suuuuper good though, and the berry jam and fresh orange slice went really well with it too. But yeah, not a lava cake sadly…

I was here a few years back pre covid
Back then there was a manned reception. This time I arrived later in the evening. No manned reception.. many phone calls to get code to enter hotel/room. As somebody with mobility issues being stood outside with chairs chained together and so impossible to sit on , in rain for 40 plus minutes was not fun. Once inside was fine.. lovely room etc.

We give three stars because we find the quality-price ratio not well balanced. We paid 80€ for one night on a Friday. The room was clean but too small. On top of that, there were no toiletteries, nor coffee or tea bags. We were really provided for just basic needs. On the other hand, the receptionist was nice and friendly, and the position of the hotel was perfect, very central.

I really love this place! It is an old, traditional house, renovated and used as a hotel. It is huge!!! It has a sense of a mansion of the old times. The people here are really nice too! My only problem is the toilets. They are tiny tiny rooms. My bathroom has a bathtube inside but no room to take even a step. Other than that, the place is just perfect!

Hotel has charming characteristics and breakfast is excellent. Key is not automatic, so it might make you anxious. Wifi is a hotspot one and weak. I could not do any work which requires intensive internet use. There are no kettle in the room which I could have used at night. I could not turn up a heater and room was cold at night. Reception was a bit distant to me.

Mark around it? From staying!? Start a single 5000 yen!? Gradually as you? Still cheap!? Home. A hint for you. Stairs from the upstairs until the Luggage has a kit!? Forget. Location? A bridge from the left to the first corner to the right of the right side.

Excellent service. I was too late for check in at the desk but everything was provided outside die Hotel in a box.

Negative:

Reception only until 20 o'clock
- no Parking
- hardly any TV channels
- no lift
- extremely crowdy

Positive:

- friendly staff
- free Wi-Fi

Price-performance top. Small, cozy rooms, everything clean, very friendly reception. Price is likely to be at the location unbeatable.
By the way, the Greek in the same building and worth a visit (great cozy decor, good food).
