Campings in Bavaria

Would not recommend in high season - too much populated. Ordered 3 places for 3 family, but got one and a half. Neighbors literally placed their tent under our tent. To big lanes to get bathrooms. And the nearest bathroom is in 10 min walk Good parts: pool, restaurant, groceries.

Great location near the Bodensee and Lindau. Great as a hub for exploring the area. However, completely overcrowded, in the sense that every square centimetre gets rent out. The facilities are ok for the money you pay. The pricing is definitely at the pricey end for what you get when renting a caravan. Staff in general is friendly & helpful. Camping has nice facilities for children, nice activities (unfortunately only in German) and on arrival they show you the place to set your tent. Unfortunately its too crowded and we were placed next to many young people playing laud music during the day and after 22:00. When i asked after a day if we can change place i was told to wait at my tent but noone came. We decided to shorten our stay.

Nice camping site, with a very kids friendly atmosphere. The central plaza is perfect for kids, with live music, pool, children's toilet facilities, etc. The restaurants are alright, but not fantastic.

I was tent-camping and the campsite offers a spacious area where one can choose the spot he/she wants. Bathroom facilities very extremely clean and fresh (one wash house was newly build recently), for kids there was even an extra room designed like a small jungle with hidden showers. The campsite is getting a bit old. But everything is tidy and you feel good. The staff is nice and helpful. 1 star deduction for the pool opening times 10:00 to 18:00 is a bit short. The water in the pool could also be a little warmer for our well-being. All in all, we can recommend the campsite.

Great campsite, very nice people in the reception and on the pitch! You feel good here, the Bavarian air is awesome. Deserved 5 out of 5 stars. Sanitary facilities are very well maintained and cleaned twice a day, you feel good here! We are now permanent campers!

The mobile home has everything you need. Surroundings beautiful. There are fixed routes if you don't take shortcuts. But you can also run well there. Staff very helpful and nice. We felt comfortable all around. We'll definitely be back.

Of course, this is not a 5 star campsite, but the staff make you feel like a welcome guest here. We had problems with the landlord that are actually none of the camping staff's business, and yet the staff tried to please us. Thank you again for that. The pool is perfectly adequate and a nice change, especially in bad weather.

Excellent campsite in a beautiful setting. Sanitary is not brand new but spotless. Reception is welcoming and easy. Good explanation about Covid rules in Bayern. A lot has already been done on the site and the facilities to get it up to date again. And with success! There is much to see and experience in the area. In short: recommended!

Very nice accommodation very well structured comfortable spaces. In general excellent welcome, very clean bathrooms, very comfortable beautiful location on the shore of a beautyful pond. Perfect for a weekend or a stopover a couple of days to explore the very interesting region. For us perfect base for exploring the Altmühl valley and ist bike tours.

Nice place, nice lake… but the shop has quite limited selection… Big pitch, quiet, restaurant at place, green grass, birds… No wifi, no water at the pitch. Fine place for a couple of nights.

Very nice place for a short vacation. The booking system is not complicated, we booked two nights directly from their website. The staff was friendly and we bought breads, snacks and drinks in the small store. There is a heater inside of the Schlaffasser and it was warm to sleep here even in the rainy season.

This is a site that was good, there was not much to do in the camp but it was clean and did what it was supposed to. It's a fairly big site with a bar/restaurant next to it which was reasonably priced for good food. Apple juice was extortionate though at 5 Euro a glass, a beer was 3.80. There was a lake next to the site but we didn't get to venture round it. Not much more to say really, worth a visit...

I love the place! Perfect for Jogging, biking, relax, meditation, walking, picnic etc.

Everything is clean and comfort

We arrived late at night around 11pm. The welcome from the staff was warm and friendly. The room is air conditioned, clean and the bathroom facilities are new. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from a train station that takes you to Munich Central Station in 20 minutes.

It is a bit far from Marienplatz (7 stops from nearest S station), convenient supermarket right below the hotel, entrance to the hotel not at ground floor but easy to reach at first floor, good breakfast

Clean and close to S7 train, price also reasonable. Furthermore, downstairs there is supermarket.

I personally think the location is a bit out of the way. You can only get there by taking the subway from the train station. It's about 5-8 minutes away from the subway station. Because of the Oktoberfest, hotels in the city were either out of rooms or had their prices increased too much, so I chose this hotel. The room is not large in size, but it is well-equipped. There is a supermarket on the ground floor, and it is convenient to walk to the nearest station in 5 minutes. Friendly staff. The room is clean. There is a free parking lot in the back. When moving between floors, it is necessary to hold the card and open the heavy door.

Kinda expensive, but if you can get past that, the staff is friendly, facilities are good and the place is clean and big. It's fairly close to a metro station that'll get you to the city centre easy. Overall a good camping park, just very expensive.

Very expencive , facility's ok but lights went out when in the shower as they are sensor activated and the sensor does not reach the shower cubicle

Nice quiet site, despite being next to the main exhibition centre. Has a bar/restaurant on site and some well appointed clean and tidy WC and toilet block.

Overall great experience! Staff at reception was not that happy at first but when you gave them a smile and acted positive they started to be more nice too 😁 Bathrooms are clean and there seems to be staff cleaning it all the time. About 20 minutes bicycle ride to downtown, very easy route! I enjoyed my stay, thanks!

Quiet compared to located in the city vincinity. Several pitches are fairly large and many under tall trees in shadow. Main sanitary facility OK modern and clean. This can not be said of the small sanitary facilities at the bottom of the camp site. On the contrary. Small Biergarten next to the entrance with limited servings. But too EXPENSIVE compared to the offerings.

Zimmer in einem Tagungsgebäude (Campus) ruhig in einem Wohngebiet gelegen (oberhalb der Innenstadt). Normales kleines Studentenzimmer mit eingebauter Sanitärkabine. Barbetrieb abend bis 22:00 Uhr, Fahrradgarage war vorhanden. Normales Frühstücksbuffet.

Service is perfect everyone is helpful an the rooms are clean. You have many indoor activities like free climbing Or table Tennis

For everybody who's looking for cheap accomodation. Rooms are really clean and nice,wi-fi was ok and breakfast really good. Pets are not allowed,but I could have my dog in the room.

Very peaceful and worth visiting in Bad Kissingen.

Very nice reception personal, we arrived at 18 ans they told us to drive in and come back in the morning for check. It is possible to inflate a SUP and do a small boating tour on the "river" by the camping. the price of 57 EUR for a family is a bit on the expensive side..

Nice camping with simple facilities. Restaurant only open Wednesdays. Surrounding areas and park are really nice. Be sure to get a place far away from the road bridge.

Brilliant location, a great place for a night stop over or a few days stay. Facilities were by far the cleanest and most well maintained I have ever seen. Very pleasant experience.

We just spent two nights at this great campsite. If it wasn’t for the fairly high rates (nearly 50 euro for two adults), it would deserve a five star review.

Booked the 2 person barrel and absolutely love the experience. Very clean lodging and common toilet at the camp site was cleaned regularly. Only exception was that someone used the toilet sink to clean their shoes and cause a stuck with the autumn leaves but it was cleaned real quick within the hour of me returning.

We stayed one night in the camping barrels. It was very cozy and clean, with heating and even heated mattresses, but in cold weather, it wasn't enough as cold air came through the window. We weren't comfortable with the temperature, but I think it would be better in warmer weather. Lovely camping - we stayed in a car park next to the campsite on an offer of €15 euros for the night, however when we went to pay they added in extra taxes and had to pay for the dog which brought the cost up (without electricity). Very nice campsite at the Grüntensee with nice facilities. Best showers, washrooms I have seen in a ling time and very clean. Nice itallian restarant on site. A 10 minute bike ride or 30 min walk brings you to Wertach. With some nice restaurant and bakery

Great service especially the young girl on reception her English was excellent and she was extremely kind and helpful. Only stayed one night on way to dolomites. Great atmosphere in campsite lovely lake and fab area - will def return .

A complete camping experience with a good vibe. A bit expensive but managing the event this scale is not cheap fellas.. my only regret is that I came late, if anyone choose to come to this event, make sure you be here by 5 pm to enjoy the most!
