Our stay was a highlight of a recent two week trip. One unexpected great moment - we needed a tailor for extensive work on a dress for which we needed a very fast turnaround. The hotel has a tailor on staff and the work was completed in three hours start to finish! Excellent service!

There is construction work for the train station right outside the hotel. it causes quite massive noise and chaos to the environment around the hotel. The restaurant is great, both food and services.

Quite good actually. Good air conditioning, which was very important. Yet, I arrived very early in the morning and was promised an early check-in. But the front desk staff, who made the promise, somehow disappeared and another staff member wasn’t helpful enough. So, I ended up checking in like 6 hours later. Not impressed.

Pros: only thing I can think of is the location. 10mins walk to the bus and main train station. Cons: I checked-in at the late evening and entered my room finding a bathrobe and slippers lying on the bathroom floor, which gave me the impression that the room has not been properly cleaned. Service was not great either, it took 1 hour and three calls to finally have someone to replace the robe and slippers...

Beautiful historic hotel with many amenities and things to do. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Everything is within walking distant of the hotel within a few blocks, dining, cafes, trollers, shopping, even has a theatre. The views from the rooftop bar were the perfect nightcap.

The hotel is amazing! Staff were outstanding, especially Ben Said from Tunisia. They upgraded us to a spacious, classic-style room with a separate dressing room and option for a connected room. They even installed a bidet spray in the bathroom and helped return our rental car. The location is quiet and perfect for relaxation, with very comfortable beds and pillows. Highly recommended!

It’s located central, breakfast was ok. Unfortunately swimming pool was closed on 31 afternoon , they installed tables around for dinner . Next morning at breakfast on 1 January, they had not friendly blond woman at bar, serving „ early bird“ breakfast . Clinic with hotel - We booked a wellness weekend and didn't regret it... Quite nice for over 50s. Of course, it is primarily a clinic that is mostly used by the older generation. But even as a wellness hotel, it's okay if you don't forget the core: the clinic. The swimming pool is clean and quite comfortable. Fantastic location right in the middle of the Main Street but not noisy at all. Beautiful lobby, excellent reception staff, and comfortable, clean rooms. We attended my niece's wedding at the hotel's special wedding venue next to the main hotel building. The venue has indoor seating for around 70 guests on two floors, and is what is best described as typically bavarian, with wooden beams, walls and flooring. At our arrival we didn’t get proper information about our stay and we got wrong purchases on our bill in the end. We didn’t get the offer to bring the luggage to the room. Great old fashioned rooms and in our double room a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. The floors are slant and this ancient hotel has had royal guests such as Gustav 2 Adolf of Sweden.
