A bit outdated interior but very comfy beds and clean

My wife and I stayed at this hotel, booked by a friend, and it completely exceeded our expectations! We usually stay at a nearby four-star hotel when we come to Munich, but it was fully booked this time, so our friend recommended this five-star. The cost wasn't much more than the four-star, but the upgrade in quality was well worth the slight price difference. We were extremely satisfied!

This hotel offers direct subway access, is close to the city center, and the S8 line from the airport goes straight to the hotel. It's convenient for both dining and shopping.

The hotel itself isn't in the busiest part of town, but there are some small restaurants and bars nearby. The metro station and a supermarket are right downstairs, which makes getting around, shopping, and general living really convenient. The price is also quite affordable.

1 of the reception counter reluctant to help to reheat packed food from supermarket nearby. Being told only for staff only. Luckily we try again and another staff assist to reheat the food. Right by the train station, so it's super convenient. The front desk staff were friendly, and even though it's central, it's not on the main street, so it was really quiet. Some rooms only accessable by stairs Apparently, standard rooms are on an intermediate floor only accessable by stairs. Not horrible but inconvenient. Staff was very helpful in porting our luggage to our rooms. So it all worked out.

Very Clean and nice rooms but unfortunately stripped bare of any amenities. Didn't even have coffee in the room.

I saw reviews mentioning the shower water temperature fluctuating between hot and cold, and I experienced it too. It seems to be a common issue. Everything else was fine.

The room facilities themselves weren't really an issue, but the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear everything from the next room, especially doors opening and closing. To make matters worse, the guests next door were incredibly noisy at night. They'd come back at 3 or 4 AM every day, talking loudly, singing, and banging on the door. I barely got any sleep.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside Nordfriedhof U-Bahn station. It's really easy to get to Allianz Arena or Marienplatz on the U6 line. The hotel facilities are very modern, there's a water dispenser in the lobby, and the rooms come with a capsule coffee machine.

We wanted to stay close to the airport since we had an early flight. This location was perfect and allowed us to not have the hassle of getting transportation in the morning to the airport. That's an ok hotel. They had serious issues with the room keys so checking in took forever and the staff had to accompany me twice to the room until they understood that it's really the key that's not working. And I was not the only guest with this problem this evening. I'd definitely hoped for a more professional behavior.

Lots of amenities in a senior adult hotel. Although the breakfast buffet was good, the overpriced dinner buffet with watery frozen vegetables and few options was a real disappointment.
