It was simple and clean. Shower had a weird gap underneath but it was still usable.

The advantage is that it's close to the station and a supermarket, and it's cheap. On the other hand, there are absolutely no services – no shampoo, soap, hairdryer, or towels.

The hostel has least facilities hostel i have ever stayed in there is no kitchen but also there is less facilities compared to other hostel we have been too before. The location is perfect and the cleannesses and hygiene is very good. Some of the staff is super helpful and friendly but cannot say the same for all like some of the keep reminding u of rules like they have white mans burden to improve...

Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable. However, my experience was seriously affected by one issue: a female receptionist with glasses who came across as discriminatory. I arrived before check-in time and politely asked if it would be possible to check in early. She bluntly told me that check-in was only available after 3 PM, and did not offer to complete any preliminary check-in procedures...

Having a balcony in the dorm room was unexpected and very welcome. The location is good in that you are not far from the centre of Munich or the station, but you are also only one street away from a mass of ***** clubs. Within walking station to the train station, close to restaurants. The room itself is a bit stuffy, there isn’t any window. Close to this site in the photo, quite easy to find.

The location is a bit hard to find, but there’s a train station nearby about 10min walk. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the common areas were well equipped, with a microwave, kettle, and refrigerator. Bathroom was clean 👍

It’s located at munich east, so a bit far away from the central station, 10 mins train to central station. But in case, if not just hang out the city center, instead travel to the towns/ mountains near by, it won’t cause much problems, as you need a pass. Also, it’s very clean and tidy.

Quite a few restrictions here. No hair dryer in the room. Some of the staff said I have to pay a deposit but some said no. There are two extra shower room but you need to get a key from the reception in advance.

The hostel is super recommended! I was in Munich for 3 days, and I chose Wombat’s for staying 2 nights. The room for 6 ladies is really huge (compared to Berlin’s hostel), and it is super cozy! The location is great as well, very near to metro system and train station. The staffs were friendly to me, and luckily my roommates are also nice!

Right across from the train station, with authentic German restaurants nearby. It's not a long walk to the Old Town. However, the room itself was very basic, and unfortunately, I encountered some Europeans with strong body odor. The room's ventilation wasn't great, so the smell was quite noticeable.

it is a popular place as it has a very convenient location near train station. A good choice for a short one night stay. The infrastruture can be better, but is also enough if you have need to cook something. It has a restaurant to use and a coffee mashine.

Great place for a shot stay for couple. Room got everything you need. The location was great, walking distance to Munchen Hbf. Not to mention, the staff were friendly and helpful.

We like the welcome drinks and good atmosphere for youth. There is lift to every floor including street level to ground floor. The 4You Hostel is behind us towards the right. There is bicycle rental nearby which we may use if it was not snowing. Usual hostel with shared bathroom. We had good warm shower.

It was very convenient because it was right in front of the train station, and it wasn't too far from the Old Town Square. The bed was comfortable, clean, and nice.

A rather good youth hostel with decent breakfast and a nice view. Unfortunately, the wifi is pretty bad. Be aware that you‘ll need to climb quite some stairs to get up there!

Saddest breakfast you might have, no heaters, old anoyying showers,old beds , no elevator, dangerous stairs.the only advantage is the view!

Nice, modern HI youth hostel in an exceptional location - within the walls of the castle, with fantastic views to Passau below.

Slamba hostel is located in a busy street with tram (rail publictransport) stopping infront. That makes the rooms (located at front) noisy till late at nigth. Rooms have no airco so windows are used for ventilation and cooling. Tv has no international channels. The hostel is in a vibrant part of Augsburg above KFC and with plenty of food and bars on walking distance Beds are very soft but clean

First impression of the house, the hostel is situated in, was not the best, but after entering the actual hostel it was great. Everything is pretty newly built, the room is small but enough if you don't want to stay there all day and even has a balcony. The location is clean and the staff is nice. Allround good experience, would book it again.

Good hostel in the center of Füssen. Interesting decor. However, it was a bit cramped and very stuffy from the radiators.

I had a fantastic stay here!! It was self check in, so I didn't have to worry about my train being late and could come in at 11pm fine. The staff in the morning was extra friendly and great to chat with. Bed was super comfy. The included towels were huge and super nice. Plenty of room in toilet and shower area. I usually don't do great with top bunks, but the ladder up was super easy to climb...

Nice hotel in the very centre of Füssen. I spent a couple of nights there with a friend. The Windsor room is nice but I would only recommend for a short as it is quite small. The common areas were nice and clean. The staff was very helpful.

The self-catering hostel was basically clean, but had fewer rooms than I expected. Unless something unexpected happens, I probably won't stay there again.

We stayed here two nights. I can definitely recommend if you’re on a budget. Great location. Very easy check in and nice that they have a 24 hour minibar. The homemade cookie was delicious! We didn’t see any staff the whole time we were there.

The hostel offers a nice, clean room with more than just a basic set of amenities. For the price you pay, this hostel goes beyond the requirements that most other places barely fulfill.

It's quite far away from the centre of Munich and it cost €5.50 on public transport to get here, taking 45 minutes. The place itself is very basic, but immaculately clean. We hired towels for €2. The showers were hot and powerful and there was a hairdryer in the shower room. There are vending machines for drinks and snacks. For the money, I would recommend.

The shared restroom and shower room was cold and impossible to shower in. The room wasn't cleaned daily, and the bed linen wasn't changed until a week's stay. On my first day, there were other people's hair on the bed. Aside from the front desk's service, I wouldn't recommend it. It's close to the Munich Exhibition Center, one subway stop away, and one kilometer from the main train station.

At first, I was skeptical because of the bad reviews. But, the hostel is actually pretty decent. This is the kind of hostel you need if you just want to have a short-term stay. The staffs were helpful. The bathrooms were clean.

The hostel is clean, the beds are comfortable. There are enough showers and toilets. There is also a small kitchenette. But it is not enough personnel to maintain the place, the halls are dirty and the check-in was more than 15 minutes in the evening. Overall, good stay for fair money.

A cheap hostel with private rooms

This hostel is in a wonderful location close to the main sightseeing area, and also within walking distance from the central station (about 20 min). The room was basic, with solid bunk beds and sinks inside. The staff members were friendly. The facilities were clean, and the breakfast buffet (included in the price), was amazing, with fresh fruits on top of the usual bread, yogurts, cold cuts, cereals...

Very friendly hosts and guests. They have strict rules and they are also enforcing them which makes it comfortable for all guests as everybody is treated equally. Simple and Good Breakfast as well as clean toilets and showers (sometimes there could be more of it). The beds are comfortable and the 4 people Rooms are large enough for everyone to get dressed. I stayed in the hostel for one night with my family. It was a very pleasant experience. Staff is very nice and gives all the information before you even ask, everything is very clean and the "system" is excellent. Everything you need from a hostel! So I recommend it to everyone who needs to stay in the area. Just lacks some "added value treats" to get a full five star from me :)
