This was our first time here, and we had a lovely evening. The service staff was very friendly and welcoming, and we felt truly comfortable and at ease.

When we made the reservation, we asked if we should specify in advance if we wanted a vegetarian menu (even though it was listed as an option on the online menu without any further details). We were then able to add that vegan would be great, but vegetarian was perfectly fine too – and we actually received a complete vegan menu! We were delighted! We highly recommend this restaurant to all vegetarians and anyone who simply wants to try a really delicious meal without meat or fish. Perhaps this is to be expected in this class of restaurant, but we were genuinely pleased. Everything tasted fantastic, and the entire menu was a generous portion, although I would have liked to take some home for the next day.

It's also great that there are several non-alcoholic drinks to choose from, not just non-alcoholic beer and soft drinks. We had the ViSecco Pinot Meunier, and it was really delicious.


We highly recommend this restaurant to all vegetarians and anyone who simply wants to try something really delicious without meat or fish. We will definitely come back again!

In the old Sandstone house which has been renovated by the family Kunkel with a lot of love to Detail it feeds excellent fine Franconian cuisine.
For family celebrations in the upscale part of the Restaurant with a garden is ideal, it is situated directly on the Old canal on the outskirts of Nuremberg.
For visitors from Abroad and also the accommodation offer is close to the Nuremberg trade fair very interesting.
Sebastian Kunkel and his partner Susanne Wagner and his parents to afford at each visit, no matter whether on the plate or in the Service of peak performance. Every visit is worth it.

The traditional greeting from the kitchen suggests that you can now look forward to something very Great. And that the kitchen is the Zirbelstube never boring, but the fine hand of the chef , Sebastian Kunkel, cook all the down to earth is always exciting and refreshingly international. Unusual combinations such as peach peppers-vegetables to wonderful prepared Bresse chicken be surprised when you read the lovingly-made card – and let the guest then indulging.
The finely curated wine list provides for every taste, the perfect accompaniment to the menu. And also the beer drinker finds always finds something Special, because we are, after all, in Swiss francs.
The Service is pleasant, relaxed, unobtrusive, always very friendly and accommodating and the guest in the property, feel the knowledge, the joy and the fun of good food for all "zirbelstub learning". And not to forget: the price-performance-ratio is more than reasonable.
Conclusion: if you in and around Nuremberg, around it, or wants to experience a journey through a culinary delight, you should make absolutely on the way in the Zirbelstube! And then: caution: danger of addiction.
