The Hotel Drei Raben is quite a lovely hotel - with very attentive, kind and helpful staff! We enjoyed the breakfast and the afternoon social hour with lively conversation with other guests and the hotel team. The location is great - walking distance to the Nuremberg Hbf and the local attractions (and the fantastic Christmas Markets). Rooms are charming and each one has a local ‘story’. We highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Nuremberg.

This hotel was wonderful!! We were immediately treated by a very nice man who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and felt welcomed! He definitely made the experience here a level up!!

The hotel claims four stars, not sure what that is based on (there are no amenities such as pool, gym etc.). The staff is very friendly but could use some more training. Let me explain., We arrived by car and made our way to the hotel which is smack in the southern part of the old town of Nuernberg. I only discovered at the hotel that a message had been sent to me (email) the afternoon before our arrival that due to construction the GPS would give us the wrong directions, and one had to input a different address. That being said, we managed but the communication could possibly have been more timely. We used the valet service of the hotel after unloading our luggage in a side street next to the hotel. Subsequently, while sipping a libation on the small terrace in front of the hotel, I overheard three staff members discussing who should park the car of the next guest who had arrived after us, as two of them had been drinking. One, I laud them for debating this as it indicates a sense of responsibility, two, I would not discuss that in front of guests and just assume they don't understand German. Anyway, location is great, everything walkable, room was very small, bathroom had a few hairs, view was of the building next door, breakfast was good. The elevator is geriatric and tiny.

The hotel is superb. Modern and comfortable. The staff have excellent customer service skills.
The highlights are the rooms, quiet, spacious, comfortable bed and great shower!
The breakfast was superb too. I like the free drink between 6pm and 8pm. In Nuremberg I will only stay at the Drei Raben. Excellent hotel. Stay here with confidence!

The hotel was perfectly located between the train station and the old town center. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The chocolates and glass of wine/beer upon arrival was very much appreciated. Martin and his colleagues were great guides in terms of providing information. I would recommend the hotel highly.

This little hotel is in the perfect location. Our room was spotless and our king bed was firm. It was very quiet as well. The hotel itself is in need of updating. Hallway carpets are old and stained, the lobby is clean but tired. The staff was excellent, however, and the breakfast was perfect.

Very nice European style hotel. Clean, comfortable beds. However, air conditioning did not work well and it was warm. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast was great!

Drei Raben is located in the center of Nürnberg. The location could not be any better! The hotel was very clean. They provide complimentary breakfast with your stay. We did not get a chance to experience it. They also offer one glass of alcoholic/non alcoholic beverage daily in the lounge area. The room was also VERY spacious.
Now for the cons. I have stayed at some of the best hotels/resorts around the world, so my expectations are high. I specifically chose Drei Raben because of the location and uniqueness of the hotel. Some things I was not pleased about are as follows. 1- The “heating” unit was very dusty. That is something that I assume they clean often but to me it was filthy. We did not have housekeeping come during our stay, so maybe the dust built up during our stay. I’m allergic to dust and it was awful at nights. 2- They only provide one key for the room. The first night we were there we drank too much and I lost my husband; HOW EMBARRASSING! It was totally my fault but I couldn’t get into our room and front desk was sick. I went to another hotel to have them try and reach someone and I forgot the name of whom I spoke to and he was very nice. He provided me the code to the lobby since the lobby was closed and I waited there until 6:20am for someone to let me into my room. The gentleman that wears all black and a black hat was not friendly. Wasn’t a huge fan. Other young gentleman was pleasant. It is NOT the hotels fault we drank and had a good time but I wish there was a better system for when someone is not at the front desk. 3- Phone in the room didn’t work. If you need something you have to go to the front desk. Unless we missed something?

The customer service is just incredible. It’s very rare for hotels to give you such personal level of service and care. I also loved the location, cleanliness and breakfast!
