In general, a big private room, clean, and for the price is very nice. Nothing fancy, but everything is working. It's in a very quiet neighborhood and there's no shops around at all. Accessible by a underground train (last stop, then walk for 15 mins). Close to the airport, but if you want to use public transportation, you still have to go to the city centre first.

Access by car is required, but the quality is sufficient for a low cost stay. Check-in time was 21:00 and it was past 22:00, but they made arrangements for me to receive the key. The only problem I had was that they couldn't speak English when I contacted them over the phone.

The hostel is good in terms of location, amenities and room rate. Even though it's a shared room, housekeeping has been done very well. Best deal of room in Europe. Other amenities like guest kitchen, self service laundry at 5 Euro per cycle and breakfast at 12.50 Euro. There is no city tax for this branch. But you have to pay for towel for about 1 Euro.

For straight 2 nights we stayed, no hot water supply at all during the night when back in hotel , had to do cold turkey style shower!!! And on day 1 at least there's some hot water in the afternoon, but on day 2 the whole day has no hot water supply! Very disappointed.

Staying in a private room at this hostel still felt great, even among younger travelers. The room was spacious and very well-designed. The lobby's decor is perfect for young people, and it was lively in the evenings. This is a little gem of a hotel right in the middle of the prettiest part of Nuremberg's old town and historic centre. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and the woman at Reception went out of her way to suggest places of interest and give advice. Breakfast was really good and the hotel was very clean and quiet. All in all, an excellent choice and great value.

There were four of us on a cycling holiday. The hotel provided safe storage in a locked cage in a nearby underground car park. The hotel is a charming place in the old town. Not much to say. It can all be summarized to a very clean room, a decent location (walking distance from the old town) and as one of the nosiest hotels I've experienced in my life, you simply can't get any sleep. 100 euros/night for non stop noise are too much in my opinion.
