Premier Inn Nürnberg City Centre in Nurnberg

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had!! 😡

1. The shower head was broken. It was very difficult to take a shower because the water was coming out from everywhere except the shower head. It was hard to wash off shampoo and shower gel.
2. No air conditioning and poor ventilation. It was around 32°C outside, and it felt just as hot inside the hotel. The room was stuffy and uncomfortable. We had to sleep with the window open to get some fresh air, but our room faced the main street, so it was very noisy.
3. Poor cleanliness. There were many stains on the carpet and on the bed. The TV screen was also dirty and covered with marks.

For the amount of money we paid, we expected much better service. I definitely do not recommend this hotel!

The most serious issue was that an item I accidentally left in my room was stolen after housekeeping serviced it. I was told nothing was left which is not true. In addition, the air conditioning was not functioning during these very hot days, which led to several nights of poor sleep. Because of this, I felt constantly tired throughout my stay. These issues significantly affected my overall experience.

The Hotel is nice and the position if you arrive by train is perfect.
I'm not amused with the reception.
I spoke to a girl and she was very nice even if she didn't find my reservation.
Then, after a minute, a colleague of her came and she was arrogant and really unfriendly.
She said they didn't have my name in the system and she wanted to send me in the other Premier inn, close to the airport, assuming I was in the wrong place. I insisted to check again and ultimately, suddenly, my name popped up and I got the room I paid for.
If i didn't insist, I would have probably missed my appointment ( the very reason why I was in Nürnberg).

I am writing this review to express my absolute disgust and disappointment with the front desk staff at this hotel. The level of hostility and the sheer lack of manners I encountered during my stay were beyond anything I have ever experienced in the hospitality industry.
The communication style of the reception staff is a major problem. They are profoundly rude, aggressive, and clearly have no training in basic customer service. When I politely confronted a staff member about their unacceptable tone and reminded them that their behavior completely contradicts universal hospitality and communication standards, their response was not only shocking but utterly pathetic.
Instead of issuing a professional apology, they replied with an egocentric, childish attitude, literally stating: "I don't believe in universal rules, I only believe in myself."
Hearing such a ridiculous, 5-year-old level response from an adult working at a hotel reception is mind-boggling. This is not a playground; it is a business. You do not get to invent your own rules of conduct when dealing with paying guests.
This toxic and unprofessional attitude ruined my experience. A hotel's front desk is supposed to be welcoming, not a hostile environment run by individuals with fragile, immature egos. I strongly advise the management to urgently retrain or replace their reception staff before they completely destroy the hotel's reputation.
I will never stay here again, and I highly recommend others to look elsewhere
