This is how overnight stays with breakfast in a foreign city are fun: courteous employees, very friendly and helpful. At the reception, both employees gave me valuable tips for the right tour of Regensburg, the kitchen staff asked whether I would like scrambled or fried eggs, everything fresh, regional. The rooms are minimalistic but clean and cozy. Thanks see you next time.

Friendly reception at the reception. The room is very simple, but it was more than enough for the night. The breakfast was delicious and varied.

A former monastery hotel. I had an image of being simple and poor, but I was betrayed in a good way. Especially the breakfast is colorful and delicious and the service is the best.

I was in the guest house and I was aware that there was only one shower on the floor. In the main house every room has a shower and the rooms are modernly equipped. Very pleasant atmosphere and a perfect base for exploring the city centre of Regensburg. Cleanliness and friendliness is important here. Predicate recommended.

This hotel was the first to which we brought a Navigator, when we needed to sleep in the road. Despite the late time, the staff quickly agreed with us on the intercom hanging at the doors and we got the key from the entrance. Room comfortable and clean. Everything needed was available. Everything was very good, very welcoming and helpful receptions. Family atmosphere in this hotel. Silent room and a delicious breakfast with plenty of cold dishes. Excellent Dr Bircher müsli served! The breakfast does not include any hot dishes or cakes, but it was not a problem.

The "Wiendl" is a hotel and attached restaurant nearby the old town of Regensburg. It is family-owned and you really feel the cosy atmosphere when entering the building. Breakfast buffet is German style, but also contains American elements like scrambled eggs and hot bacon. This hotel is a good choice if you travel to and around Regensburg by car, the parking lot is included in room price.

It was in the centre of the city, good shopping opportunities. Missing: refrigerator and air conditioning.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. We visited during the extreme heat wave, so we had to keep the windows open. The biergarten was right below our window and people had loud conversations and laughing until around midnight. I think I would have absolutely loved this hotel if we hadn't been kept up all night and gotten up at 4am to catch a flight. They accidentally charged us for the room twice...

Decent size rooms but very uncomfortable bed. Lovely breakfast.

The service was great. The owner of the hotel was very friendly, every amenity was well taken care of. I will definitely recommend it to other people visiting

Hotel Platin Regensburg

I don't need to go back. Unfortunately, my stay wasn't quite optimal! The hotel is too noisy overall, and the rooms are too dark! The towels and bed linen didn't smell fresh! Our room wasn't cleaned during our two-night stay! Queen beds are 1.50 x 2 meters! Personally, I find these beds too small for a double room!

Very nice and accommodating - the location a little outside is not ideal.

The friendly staff compensates the small room, bizarre design, no elevator, and an 'interesting' location. Staying one night is fine though. I guess it is a good value for your money in comparison to other hotels. The staff actually goes an extra mile to please you.

We stayed here after our vacation on the way back to The Netherlands. So we haven't really experienced everything and only been there for one night. But the bed and showers was great!

We loved staying here. We spent just one night in our way to Prague. It was exactly what they offer in the internet. However, it is important to highlight staff kindness and well intended, cleanliness is the best we found in our recent vacation time, it was really nice to lie down on the bed and feel the aroma in the linens. Breakfast was very good. We really loved the place.

The lady running the place was lovely and very warm hearted. The room was clean, however lacked basic things like hair dryer, kettle would have been nice to have these little touches considering it's quiet a distance from places to eat etc Location wise wasn't great, you can walk into Regensburg however it is approx 50 minute walk. It was a short stay in this hotel! We were on our way from a two week car trip through Hungary and went back to Amsterdam! That hotel was booked for us by foxreizen! Good hotel, neat room, not far from the center of Regensburg! Good breakfast and friendly staff!!! We would book this hotel again!

I enjoyed my stay here, the hotel was nice and clean, the breakfast delicious and staff was friendly `Yosof was very hepful from day one]. Some rooms doesn't have bar fridge but if you tell in time you need one they will organize a room with bar fridge. TV and free Wifi. Hotel is conveniently close to the Arcaden and Hauptbahnhof, easy access to trains, buses and taxis.

The kindest people work at this hotel! Always cheerful, and extremely helpful. That is what truly made my stay special. Wait until construction is done The hotel is under renovation and there were wires hanging from the ceiling. Carpets torn up, new doors and construction equipment around the lobby and corridors to your room. It was loud very early in the morning due to construction work outside our windows.

Great room with terrace, lovely staff, always there to help when needed. Clean, friendly and amazing food.

Rooms were clean and well maintained, staff friendly and attentive for both hotel and restaurant. They were in the middle of an electrical referb so all the corridors were filled with protective carpeting, hanging wires and workers. Rooms could do with AC, it got warm and humid.

Everything was nice and friendly, special praise for the service staff at breakfast...the scrambled eggs were simply superb.....

Absolutely amazing hotel. Each employee takes pride in their work - rooms are comfortable and clean, receiption is quick and friendly (Lily), food tastes great and service is quick and polite. They have tons of parking spaces and pricing is not that bad.

Very nice hotel! Amazing pool and sauna! Clean and nice definitely recommend. In regards with the food i had a bad experience. Gordon bleu was burned and very greasy. Potatoes were overcooked and not even drained properly of oil quality not to good.

A nice clean B&B with friendly staff and good parking. We arrived really late and we were helped nicely. The room was clean and actually had a nice view. Never had a bad experience in a B&B, parking is 6euro a day and the stay is cheaper if booked online. But still a good price in general.

Hotel is well located. Rooms are standard size and clean. Parking is available in front of the hotel and will be charged separate when you do self check-in no matter if you came by car or not. Charging parking is not mention when you do the booking. It is not expansive but should be stated upfront.

Exhausted after a grueling ten-hour drive, we arrived quite late. Fortunately, the receptionist was exceptionally hospitable, quickly expediting our check-in and explaining everything about our stay. We were so grateful to collapse into a warm, clean room for an early night.

I was quite disappointed with my stay. The hotel is overpriced in several ways - you even have to pay for parking, which is unacceptable for the rates they charge. The only positive aspect is the hotel's convenient location near the highway, making it practical for an overnight stop during a longer journey."

We had a good stay, the gwt to park at the basement, and it can go right up to the hotel floor. The front desk was very helpful and got advice , cut short our time to search out.

Rooms are very nice and clean with air conditioning. Very comfortable beds. We had a very good experience and will definitely book this hotel again in the future.
