The receptionist gave us the wrong info of the bus services and for us to realised after waiting for an hour that it was a public holiday and bus services are disrupted and of different schedule.

The rooms are too sparse. No coffee maker, no mini fridge and really no furniture other than a bean bag on the floor. It's simply not practical to work (or do anything really) with one bean bag in the corner as the only piece of furniture other than the bed. And the rooms are decent size so they would easily fit some real chairs and at least one table or a desk. The location also isn't the most convenient...

The rooms were nicely design and clean. The reason for my 3 stars is that it was a basic hotel and the location was not ideal while charging 17 euros for parking. Additionally the receptionist at the time of the check in couldn’t speak proper English. We had a very basic question if we could drink the tap water and he brought us a bottle of water.

In general, I might recommend the hotel because the bed was comfortable, the location was good and the breakfast was very varied. On the other hand, the water wasn't hot, the kettle was literally moldy and the towels weren't much clean. I told them about the issues, they told me they would fix it but didn't. Place is kind of isolated facing several construction environments. Uber is available but a little costly and long wait. Walkable to some areas with 15-20mins. No food or restaurant outside of breakfast Service can be a little friendlier though. Smiles are a rare commodity here, just an observation. Definitely not close to a standard Hilton level.

Clean room but very small, no chairs to sit on just a stool. There was also a lack of lighting. The inability to leave power on in the room when you are out to charge electronics was a negative and the shower was difficult to manipulate so it was tall enough to get under and yet not spray out of the shower area. Breakfast was a plus, hot and cold options all being filled regularly.

We only spent here one night midway on our journey. For that purpose, this is a perfect place. The hotel is close to the highway, but it is in a quiet neighbourhood. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was ok, could do with a little bit more attention to cleaning especially in the bathroom. Can't say that in the morning I was made to feel welcome at breakfast time either...but if you don't mind that, the hotel is in a good quiet location.

I picked this hotel because it used to be a barn and I am so glad that I did! We were upgraded to a family suite which was very large and lovely. It had everything one could ask for. The staff were welcoming and friendly and breakfast was excellent. We were catching a cruise ship in Regensberg and the hotel was close enough for us to walk there with our luggage. Would definitely stay here again.

I feel uneasy in a hotel that demands payment before useing the rooms, is there is something untrustworthy about the customers, or is it the hotel management? The so-called 'Retro-style' was an excuse for second-hand furniture and cheap fittings, sorry but we are seasoned travellers and used to something else.
