4 star hotels in Regensburg

Overall nice hotel, fitness room is not equipped with weights. Cleaning ladies were very rude barged into our room while the do not disturb sign was hanged to make us leave earlier before checkout

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was plentiful, there was parking, and it wasn't far from the stone bridge. The hotel restaurant had good food, and most importantly, there was a kettle, which was very suitable for Chinese people.

Nice room But not very central, no restaurants nearby Very delicious breakfast Long wait for check-in and check out

updated: thanks for taking in consideration the guest review What i did miss in my room was probably small disk with chair for using my laptop the small table inside the room was not sufficient but still nice experience :) Nice hotel with great location and friendly staff great for short business trip

Excellent hotel. Nice, modern layout, great rooms, comfortable beds and very friendly staff. Insider tip: skip breakfast in the hotel (way too expensive) and go to the bakery next door instead.

We just slept over for one night on our way to the final destination. Loved the hotel, staff was super kind already over the phone (we booked super last minute) and even more when we got there. Room was super clean-have not seen for a while such a clean bathroom and room water heater (always a big “no-go” for me). We also had breakfast; plenty of options for everybody to find something they like. Can...

Excellent service, friendly staff and clean hotel.

Very clean, nice hotel with professional, friendly staff who all spoke English

Good service and environmentally friendly

This is a newly opened hotel with relatively new facilities. It's located right by the roadside, about a 20-minute drive from Dahao Plaza in the city center. Breakfast is a buffet with a decent variety, and parking is convenient.

Could be better Evening buffet was overpriced for what it was, and if you forget to bring back the empty bottle of water at check-out you’ll be charged 10,- euro ! Why can’t they just bring it back when they clean the room, which wasn’t to good, no vacuum cleaning for five days. Therevwhere no towels in spa area or drinking water in the gym, and no fridge in the room.

Clean and large room Very good hotel fornsleep over and continue our road trip. They told first that there were no available parking for us but they found a space in the small garage.

Super hotel, staff was great and friendly! Good location short walk to town centre Underground parking was really handy Restaurant was great

The room was great— spotless and with a gorgeous view. Best of all was the concierge at the desk on the night of our arrival; we really appreciated his generous manner in sticking with his native tongue while still being able to graciously and deftly bridge our relative lack of mastery. Would definitively return for a longer stay!!

He was conveniently located to the historical part of the city.

The stay was perfect! The view of the Danube was simply breathtaking and melted my heart!!! You feel as though you've been transported into a Rembrandt painting. The stay was just fabulous - a truly magical one. Thank you!

Front desk gentleman is very friendly and helpful, make me smile after long hours driving

Nice hotel. Nice executive level room. But higher floors had weak WiFi. Location was somewhat inconvenient. Also, meals were not available all evenings. And dinner was buffet, and one night fully booked so even room guests were turned away. In retrospect, we should’ve stayed on the other side of the river. It’s a 21 euro cab ride to the train station. You could walk it in 15 min. But dragging our luggage...

Excellent hotel, great location

Actually not bad not good. Just smell from outside and noise from outside. Too not ok restaurant. +big nice parking.

Very convenient location near the highway. Quiet, spacious and clean room with comfortable bed. Welcoming person at the reception. Enough parking spots in the underground parking. Nice breakfast with lots of variety. Negative: The waiters in the restaurant should be trained better. Kevin dropped the utensils on the floor, but still brought them on our table (he didn’t realize that we saw him). When...

I had a great stay at the Best Western Premier Novina Hotel Regensburg. The price was very reasonable for the quality offered. Parking was convenient and felt secure, although the pillars in the garage made maneuvering a bit tricky at times. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, everything I needed for a restful stay. Service was excellent, the staff was friendly and very accommodating,...

Friendly staff. The mattress needs replacing. A thin topper won't help. You should ask reception for a quiet room (at the back of the building). Breakfast is OK. The center is 5 km away by car.

A very well managed clean hotel. Very comfortable beds, great shower and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!

There were four of us on a cycling holiday. The hotel provided safe storage for our bikes in an inner courtyard - we wheeled our bikes through reception. It is an old building which has been carefully and romantically redeveloped into a hotel. It has charm. Breakfast was served in a room which also serves as an art gallery. The hotel is right in the old town so easy walks to the main sights and restaurants

Central location means rooms are compact but well lid out and everything of the standard you may expect. The room was very quiet considering the location in the centre of the historic part of town. The breakfast buffet is particularly good and the staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Very good bicycle park with multiple charge station, tools, pump and cleaning rags. Good place to stay if you are...

Awesome stay in the Tower suite. Beautiful room with great amenities. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Great place to explore an amazing town.

Quaint, historic hotel right in the city center. Beautiful breakfast and dining room. I would definitely return!

Stayed here one night before we were to board a river cruise ship the next day. Hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable. Staff was very friendly, also had a decent buffet breakfast in the morning. Total cost was 127 euro / $138 USD. Booked via email - and they did not take credit card info to reserve, which was odd, but OK.

We stayed in the Blue Tower - a building just a few step away from the reception. Besides meeting all expectations - spotless clean, excellent beds, quiet, spacious, great breakfast - we enjoyed the thinking that went into the room design. Everything was in place - a hook to put the towel, a light over a step leading to the room, the writing desk etc. The location is excellent too - one cannot...

Back at this hotel a second time. Happy with the room, staff, location and very good breakfast (for this level/price).

Nice hotel on the edge of the old town (easy to drive to, but still the whole old town is within walking distance). Also near the main train station if you come by train. The hotel has their own (paid) underground parking garage (1 EUR/day cheaper than parking a full day in the nearest parking garage) The building is very beautiful and old even though the cheaper rooms are not of a grand design. Still...

This was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at during my trip to Germany. The rooms were large and clean, the breakfast was plentiful, the restaurant was like a palace, and the hotel was very beautiful.

We liked the room. Unfortunately, there was traffic both nights 11:00-11:45pm blowing their horns nonstop.

This hotel exceeded our expectations

The hotel has no air conditioning and is quite hot in the summer

Very close to the business park, good restaurant options Room is okay but not so clean

A great hotel for a great price! Great location, very quiet. Everything is clean. Very good and varied breakfast. We'll definitely come back next time we're in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay at the ACHAT Hotel Regensburg. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable—perfect for us with a baby. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for exploring the city, and there are good parking options. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Overall, very good value for money. We would be happy to come back!

A normal hotel. Don't expect anything special. Unfortunately, there was a large hole in the towel and several silverfish in the bathroom. The bar was already closed Friday evening, which is a shame. The food and service were average. But it was perfectly adequate for one night. The location by the lake was lovely. Plenty of free parking.

Great hotel in commercial area. Very clean and close to lots on eating places

The hotel is in a great location if, as in our case, you're going to a concert on the piazza. It was also clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, we didn't have any towels in the room. And the booking confirmation looked like breakfast was included, but according to the receptionist, it wasn't. And I hadn't realized that it had been a while since I booked the room. All in all, the...

A wonderful hotel! Beautiful rooms, perfect location, and an excellent staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room was fine, but nothing special. Parking in the area is challenging. There is no elevator, so prepare to climb lots of stairs. Staff was friendly enough.

Lovely staff, the room was clean and nice and in a good location. We did not have breakfast included but the hotel does have a restaurant attached to it. Be aware there is no lift only stairs but they did help us with our luggage.

Excellent hotel! The rooms are large, well-equipped, and comfortable. Service is great and the staff is very friendly. Perfect location in the center of town. 100% recommend

Really great hotel, had a massive suite, very affordable and lovely staff.

Our stay at this hotel was the highlight of our trip to Germany….. Victoria in particular went way and above what any guest could hope to get from a host…… we received help with our bags, parking advice and fantastic service!!!

The hotel was very nice. Front desk staff was very friendly. There was a very beautiful outdoor patio where we had our dinner. Be very careful though when you order food. We have been charged 75 euros for just a casual dinner without any alcohol or anything special, and we still don’t know if it was poor language skills of the server, or the server confused us on purpose when advising the menu. The...

+ friendly receptionist and breakfast personal serving excellent piping hot expreso but, you must ask for it. Not far from big shopping center, plenty of parking. - interior needs upgrade, restaurant is just formal eating area missing Bavarian charm.

Lovely and modern but with old school charm hotel. The room was very comfortable and ticked all boxes and more with personalised details that we enjoyed. The staff from reception to breakfast were all exceptionally professional and friendly. 15mins walk to Regensburg Altstadt. Easy parking for a car and public transport also available. The only downside was our room faced a busy, noisy road but the...

This hotel had nice spacious rooms. They were quiet and clean. There is no air conditioning but we requested a fan which helped. One drawback is that the elevator doesn't go to the main floor, meaning you have to carry your bags up the first flight of steps. For my taste the bed was too hard. Breakfast buffet was good but not great. I liked the crispy bacon. The location is in a commercial area about...

Fair. Fair, overall, and clean too. But read my comments. The personnel was friendly, so much at the reception as much at the restaurant area. Liked: The hotel met most of my expetations - not all though. The breakfast was decent, yet not super as they claimed at Booking. The personnel was helpful and polite. The room was clean. The hotel is located not very far from the old city, but also not that...

Super cosy and stylish rooms (modern style double room), nice and clean bathroom. Staff is very friendly, particularly in the morning when you have breakfast. Maybe the best I've ever had in a hotel! The beds are a bit too hard for my taste, as I like it soft. But my girlfriend loved it and we both had a very relaxing night. One thing that should be mentioned: on the map the hotel somehow appears...

Cute little hotel - only 6 rooms I believe & great location. Close to the train station - 10 minute walk straight across the park & you will easily follow the crowd to town. We had a jr. suite and it was up a flight of steps. Bedroom was plenty big w/ storage, etc. Living room w/ TV & little refrigerator. Pretty quiet I must say, considering there's a lot of other hotels, etc. around. And perhaps the...

A clean room in an excellent location of Regensberg. Friendly staff. You will have to climb some stairs but it wasn’t an issue for us.

Great boutique Hotel. Spent 2 nights on business trip. Room was very cozy with great bed quality. Staff very nice and helpful In the old town, so awesome location with public parking in front. No breakfast but you can go to neighbors where they serve great breakfast.

Great location (close to everything but still quiet), wonderful people, very comfortable bed and pillows, nice extras with the water and coffee. Highly recommend!

A modern and beautiful hotel in the old town of Regensburg. Very central and comfortable with many beautiful details, but most of all, perfect service.

We stayed at Hotel Rote 19 on November 30th 2023 for 1 night. We would rate this as 2.5 or 3 out of five it certainly does not in our view meet exceptional and 9.8 when compared to other places we have stayed all over europe. The It It is not a hotel as per se, It is a boutique set up building that is converted with each accommodation having sitting area, bedroom and bathroom. The positives are that...

After a bad experience of spending 2 nights in an unexpectedly shubby, micro-size, hot and loud room in Ludwig's Hotel in Fussen we were simply pleased to have a spacious double room on the top floor with a proper desk, wardrobe, aircon and a bathtub. The Spanish receptionist was very nice and helpful, she managed a high workload very well and should be at least praised for her skills, including good...

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel St. Georg in Regensburg. From the moment we arrived, the reception was extremely welcoming. As we were traveling with our dog, we were touched to find that the receptionist had prepared a special treat for her – such a thoughtful gesture! Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, with a complimentary bottle of water waiting for us. The hotel is...

Too big and uncomfortable pillows, staff understand English but don't want to speak (I don't mean the receptionists, they were cool), good parking, massive rooms, warm and nice bathrooms. All good. Not sure the breakfast was worth 13€ per person and 10€ for child, but....

Used this hotel for a school trip. Rooms are lovely, staff are great, perfect location for getting to our partner school and also for bus stops to get to Regensburg city centre easily. Breakfast was great.

Very nice hotel with good sense of service. We were late and they called us to ensure we have access to all information about our room at night. Spacious rooms, kind and helpful staff.

The hotel is located in a quiet green neighborhood. Its not only a business hotel but a hotel for anybody, even family like us. Our rooms were allocated in the renovated part of the hotel and they were excellent! Really spacious, super clean with minimal decoration but having everything we needed. Comfortable beds and pillows! The stuff were all great. We didnt have breakfast there so no comments about...

You cannot do better than this. Perfect location. Beautiful spacious rooms with a great city view. Plenty of space with two chairs, desk, à small table, mini fridge and wardrobe with shelves. Lots of outlets for charging. Super firm mattresses. The bathroom has good lighting and my favorite thing to see, a magnifying mirror! It has none of the usual annoyances of hotel bathrooms. It’s got a big shower...

Lovely greet, really friendly service and secure bike storage. Really friendly. Good explanations. Hotel was stunning in this UNeSCO heritage sight town. Room spacious. Location excellent! Enjoyed the hotel - great for a solo traveller or anyone.

This small hotel is very central to everything, in easy walking distance from the station and even closer to the Cathedral, The Stone Bridge and all the other things you might want to see. The bed was co fortable (I slept through the night for the first time in 4 weeks!), and the staff was amazing!!! So helpful, and always with a big smile! They even offered me a late check out as it was raining and...

The hotel is in an ideal position, where you can visit the town simply walking. Nice room well renovated and the same applies to the bathroom. Room is big and comfortable. Rich breakfast with all you can wish. Very silent place being in the area closed to traffic.

I looked at the other remarks and thought OK give it a go, and wow. This place is great, small, Ok it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some other hotels smack in the middle of a world heritage city might have, but for this price this is a real gem. I visited on business but you can be sure I will be back privately.

Top location in the heart of the city. Very friendly team (e.g. at one occasion I was running late and had to skip breakfast. The person at reception realized that and, at checkout, offered me a coffee for takeaway. Saved my morning!) The rooms are totally fine (a bit old school maybe, but that's part of the concept). They have a decent number of power sockets and the WiFi is working reliably. The...

I was there few weeks ago with my partner the hospitality is really kind, everything so clean and you are surrounded by nature close to coffee shops, some restaurants and the best to Walhalla

The room was big, spacy, clean and nice. But there's a mosquito that we couldn't sleep!! It'd have been perfect if they had a net....The bathroom was so spacy. Shower room was so big! More amenities would have been good for 4 star hotel. The breakfast was good. A great German style Breakfast. The staff was friendly, helpful and hospitable. We had a great stay except mosquito battle.... The chickens...

This is the perfect hotel if you need longer stay. The room is nice and has a descent kitchen. They also provide a laundry machine you can use for only 2 euros.

It is a very nice and quiet place at the same time location is perfect. You have everything around it, stores, drogerie, restaurant, bakery also very nice place to walk. It is located also very close to center of Regensburg (5min by car). There is also a possibility when the weather is good to walk to the center which 30-40min walking. Great place with great location. The rooms are big enough and the...

Gerald and his family care so much about their family business. They were all so friendly, and I will truly miss them! All of the staff did an excellent job, and I can’t wait to come back again.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Reception staff were very cheerful and helpful and even made a nice compliment about our rental car! The room was spacious and very clean and tidy and quality materials have been used throughout. It would have been nice to have had a kettle, but there was a fridge and a hob which made our stay more pleasant. Rooms were very quiet and the shower was easily powerful...

Wait until construction is done The hotel is under renovation and there were wires hanging from the ceiling. Carpets torn up, new doors and construction equipment around the lobby and corridors to your room. It was loud very early in the morning due to construction work outside our windows.

Great room with terrace, lovely staff, always there to help when needed. Clean, friendly and amazing food.

Rooms were clean and well maintained, staff friendly and attentive for both hotel and restaurant. They were in the middle of an electrical referb so all the corridors were filled with protective carpeting, hanging wires and workers. Rooms could do with AC, it got warm and humid.

Everything was nice and friendly, special praise for the service staff at breakfast...the scrambled eggs were simply superb.....

Absolutely amazing hotel. Each employee takes pride in their work - rooms are comfortable and clean, receiption is quick and friendly (Lily), food tastes great and service is quick and polite. They have tons of parking spaces and pricing is not that bad.

Very nice hotel! Amazing pool and sauna! Clean and nice definitely recommend. In regards with the food i had a bad experience. Gordon bleu was burned and very greasy. Potatoes were overcooked and not even drained properly of oil quality not to good.

The service is nice and competent, the food is good, clean and quiet.

Fine, elegant hotel. Respectful and very discreet staff. Very nice rooms and a great breakfast.

It was a short stay in this hotel! We were on our way from a two week car trip through Hungary and went back to Amsterdam! That hotel was booked for us by foxreizen! Good hotel, neat room, not far from the center of Regensburg! Good breakfast and friendly staff!!! We would book this hotel again!

I enjoyed my stay here, the hotel was nice and clean, the breakfast delicious and staff was friendly `Yosof was very hepful from day one]. Some rooms doesn't have bar fridge but if you tell in time you need one they will organize a room with bar fridge. TV and free Wifi. Hotel is conveniently close to the Arcaden and Hauptbahnhof, easy access to trains, buses and taxis.

The kindest people work at this hotel! Always cheerful, and extremely helpful. That is what truly made my stay special. The location of this hotel is excellent, you can walk to the city center easily, and there is an Aldi super market that you walk to (only 5 minutes walking), and a big shopping mall with another supermarket, restaurants, and a movie theater are also only a 5 minute walk away. The...

I've stayed at this hotel several times during my business trips in Regensburg, and each time I had a very pleasant stay there.
