My daughter and I enjoyed an excellent stay. Definitely 5 star. Very much enjoyed the location, pool, sauna, hot tub, yoga, gourmet meals and vicinity of hiking and castle.

I spent 2 relaxing nights at this immaculate spa-resort in August with my boyfriend. It was my first time to Germany, and my first stay at a spa of this all encompassing class. Everything about the property (interior décor, customer service, rooms & food) was exceptional and geared towards total satisfaction & rejuvenation. The various pool areas give way to the backdrop of the Bavarian mountains...

The room was okay, but the bathroom wasn't very big. We booked a panoramic room, but the hotel gave us a garden view room at ground level, not on a high floor, and didn't charge us extra!

Thank you for a wonderful experience at your spa hotel! We got very friendly service, the facilities were beautiful, aesthetic, new and clean. The spa was big and had many relaxing and beautiful options. I felt like a special guest and the whole experience felt luxurious. I am very happy!

Very Healthy choices. We ordered Vegetarian Omelets. They also had a huge high quality buffet. Very friendly staff.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location to visit castles around. Spa has a stunning view. We stayed in Jagerhouse that was the older one, you have to cross the street for a breakfast or spa, but the building itself is very nice, even on the older side. There is a spacious parking, even though it is paid - for the location and the room rate it could be included. Also, 10 eur extra to use SPA after check...

Even better than I expected! The ambiance at Neuschwanstein was incredible. Looking out the window after it snowed was absolutely beautiful. The cleanliness and service were also excellent.

I used to stay here a few years ago and so impressed with everything. Thus, I came back again. The hotel's location is really good, bc it's close to the Neuschwanstein castle and also next to the Alpsee lake. The hotel is very nice and cozy. The room space is very comfy too.

The hotel is classy and elegant, and the location is amazing. It was a very short trip, but waking up in the morning with the view of the lake and the Alps it was beautiful and relaxing. I have to mention one employee of the hotel that was kind and welcoming, Hanni ( I hope I got his name right). He made our stay pleasant and we enjoyed seeing the way he was interacting daily with all the other guests...

Really cosy place to stay, excellent food, friendly service, they also gave us a hand with finding tickets to visit the castle. We'll definitely be back.

This hotel was excellent except for the sound proofing, we had a room next to the stairs and we could hear the constant footsteps of people going up and down the stairs

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Helmer Hotel. The location, in the quiet pastoral Bavarian village of Schwangua, is a 5 minute drive to the castles. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. and the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. We highly recommend staying at the Helmer Hotel.

Our 2nd stay in this very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. A good place for hiking in the mountains and use og free bikes (very good idea) to bike around Schwangau and Füssen. An El-kettel in the room would be a nice to have for a couple of tea after a long hike in the mountains.

The Hotal has the family owned and operated charm and attention to detail that make is absolutely wonderful and unique. The view from our balcony of the mountains as village area is spectacular. The area has many great paved walking paths through the beautiful rural area to the cable car and castle area.

We love this hotel and have stayed at it two year in a row. It is located in a quiet village and has plenty of bikes to use to ride through the beautiful surroundings. We love it here.

This was a beautiful property with a wonderful restaurant on site. The area is beautiful and allowed for amazing sunset walks around the lake. The couple that runs the place were very kind and provided assistance with taxis and such

I had a Fantastic two-night stay here, I wished it had been longer. I had a large family room, certainly bigger than I needed but I immensely enjoyed anyway. Everything was great with the Internet sognal strong, a comfortable bed. The bath was great with plenty of hot water. The room also has a small refrigerator and an electric kettle which is rare in Europe. Plenty of walking, cycling and running...

Hotel was clean and quiet , very traditional decor . Bathroom was good with great shower . Only gripe was that the owners were a little stingy when asked for an extra coffee sachet for the room , I was told only one a day is allowed and breakfast was not a buffet , you have to choose items of a tick list which states that an extra charge may be made if you order too much , but didn’t explain what that...

Spent one night at this small, quite and charming Inn very Neuschwanstein Castle, next to a crop farm. Seems to ran by a family that also operate the kitchen. (English menus are available). Food was excellent; like a good home cooked meal. Staff overall are very nice. Room was clean, and had a partly obstructed, but great view of the nearby mountains. This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Europe! The views of the mountain and castle were spectacular. We LOVED the room! It was super cute, functional, and clean! The breakfast was delicious and everyone was super kind. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely stay here again!

This lovely hotel is centrally located near Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles. Convenient to a grocery store and Fussen. The service here is amazing and the breakfast buffet offers many options. Be sure to checkout the restaurant!

Only had a late lunch here, so can't comment on the accommodation. Super friendly staff and really tasty food with lots of local specialities on the menu. Slightly on the expensive side for what it is.

Very nice hotel in the small town of Schwangau. Very friendly staff. If you arrive by bus, there is a bus stop just across the street. My only complaint is, since there is no air conditioning (normal for Europe) I slept with the windows open and I could here patrons at the small Italian restaurant across the street on their patio as late as 02:00 (2:00am)

Top stay at Schwarzwald. We absolutely loved the location of the hotel and the surroundings are surreal

The hotel is located is very convenient region. The room is spacious with great view. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. They guided us patiently how to take the public transport to the Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwan Castle.

It's a nice place to stay, and very close to the Neuschawanstein castle. You may even walk to the Horggen Lake side to see the beautiful sunset in the evening.

This was one of our favorite hotels on our European trip. Just what we wanted for German style and ambience. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, well located near Neuschwanstein and the Tegelberg bahn. The breakfast was phenomenal! We also enjoyed a walk in the valley near the hotel with views of the castles. A great stay! We'll be back.

Great location, nice room with a comfortable bed and bathroom. We also had a nice balcony with a small view of the castle. Breakfast was nice with hot eggs and cold cereal, yogurt, buns, meats and cheeses. There was free parking, but no elevator, so the trek up to the fourth floor with luggage was not fun.

Landhotel Guglhupf felt like home. I loved how they paid attention to detail not only in the varied choices of delicious food they serve for breakfast but also in how lovingly they set the tables. I will never forget the breathtaking view of the majestic mountains that greeted us every morning.

This hotel is nice and quiet, but in the perfect location! Not only did we get a room with a view of Neuschwanstein, but the beds were immensely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Plus, there's a couple restaurants, a grocery store, and a bakery all within walking distance. There was ample parking as well. A perfect stay for families.

we are business travellers and during Sunday in Europe, so we choose to visit the Neuschwanstien and this hotel is just few kilometers nearby. The room is easy to check-in, clean and quiet. There's many restaurants around so there's no problems for eating

Although we only stayed one night, from the moment of arrival to leaving everyone was friendly and welcoming. We booked a Castle view room, and what a view !!! We wanted to visit a small town - Titisee Lake southern Black Forest in Baden Wurttenberg, and found this hotel approx. 10km from it. Excellent dinner at the hotel -- Must definitely try their specialty "trout with melted almond butter" farmed in the same town. A small car is even provided for one to get around and visit...

This is a restaurant and hotel all in one. The restaurant on the first floor, and the guest rooms upstairs. There are free parking spaces, but there are not many parking spaces (but I don’t know if the parking spaces across the road belong to it), and it should be first come, first served. There is a pretty good supermarket about 100 meters away. It is very close to the Neuschwanstein Castle attraction...

Nice rooms and a good breakfast. Bit pricey.

Parking is convenient. The family room has one twin bed, two single beds, and a crib. A very generous Western breakfast is included.

The accommodation was great, and the staff were friendly and cheerful. There's a restaurant downstairs with delicious food and a vending machine for drinks. It's about 300 meters from the bus stop.

I would recommend this hotel. The hotel very peaceful, I like it. At first floor also have a restaurant. The hotel boasts an excellent location, is cozy and comfortable, and features conveniently adjustable heating. The nearby town of Füssen offers numerous dining options, and the hotel restaurant is also quite good and charming.

It's right next to the highway. It's easier to find if you drive by yourself. The room is spacious and clean. It's so-so.

The room is super beautiful. The three large windows can see the city and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The facilities are very good and new, and the hygiene is very good. The parking space is difficult to enter, the entrance is very narrow and the parking space is not large.

We stayed at Boutique Hotel Das Rübezahl for a weekend, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel is in a stunning location, right across from Neuschwanstein Castle, which creates an incredible atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, modern, and most offer amazing views of the mountains and the castle. I especially loved the room with a fireplace — cozy and romantic. Our second stay at Rübezahl. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, the staff, the food and the spa were excellent the first time. This time they were even better! The views of, and the walking in, the foothills of the Alps are tremendous. A wonderful, relaxing stay - we will return.

Charming boutique hotel with excellent food and service and stunning views of the nearby scenery. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. This was our second time staying here in 6 years and it did not disappoint. We will stay again if we're in the area.

Das Ruebezal was an excellent experience! The food was fantastic, the staff was exceptional, and Adly the bartender is a master bartender! The rooms were excellent and you can’t beat the views. Would highly recommend especially during the winter.

We liked our stay in here mainly thanks to proximity to castles and Fussen by walking distance. Room was cozy and clean, bfast very good as well.

We didn't stay here but I would assume its excellent 👌 as well. We did have dinner here after our trip to Hohenschwangau Castle. The service was great and friendly and many locals visit its restaurant from what we witnessed. The food was excellent 👌 and portions are large and reasonably priced. The beers 🍻... oh so good 👍 😋. A must try as well. Atmosphere...typical Bavarian. 👍

The hotel was close to the castles and to Fussen for dinner and drinks at night. The room was clean and accommodating, but the manager was a tad rude. When we first walked in he would not even acknowledge our presence, but then some German's came in and he seemed to warm up a bit.

Stayed here September 2017. Klaus the owner is awesome. Great sense of humor, he was shocked that we had 3 Siberian huskies! The location is pretty much unbeatable, you are right down the road from the castles and can see them on a beautiful short walk from the inn.

We were very warmly greeted by our host, who told us about some attractions we might want to see before showing us up to our room and explaining the ins and outs of how things worked.
