Our 2nd stay in this very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. A good place for hiking in the mountains and use og free bikes (very good idea) to bike around Schwangau and Füssen.
An El-kettel in the room would be a nice to have for a couple of tea after a long hike in the mountains.

Really cosy place to stay, excellent food, friendly service, they also gave us a hand with finding tickets to visit the castle. We'll definitely be back.

This hotel was excellent except for the sound proofing, we had a room next to the stairs and we could hear the constant footsteps of people going up and down the stairs

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Helmer Hotel. The location, in the quiet pastoral Bavarian village of Schwangua, is a 5 minute drive to the castles. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. and the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. We highly recommend staying at the Helmer Hotel.

The Hotal has the family owned and operated charm and attention to detail that make is absolutely wonderful and unique. The view from our balcony of the mountains as village area is spectacular. The area has many great paved walking paths through the beautiful rural area to the cable car and castle area.

I can only speak for the restaurant.
50€ for a small chicken breast and two drinks. We ordered tap water and they brought us a bottle for 5,40€ 😱😱😱
We said we were sharing the platter and they charged us 2€ service fee for an empty plate, but they didn’t warn us.
There wasn’t enough for even one person, this was the most expensive little piece of chicken I’ve ever paid in my life.

We love this hotel and have stayed at it two year in a row. It is located in a quiet village and has plenty of bikes to use to ride through the beautiful surroundings. We love it here.

Amazing hotel. Everything is super clean and in great condition, even that maintains old style and traditional furniture. Excelent service. Food is well served and provide information for activities around.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Wonderful buffet breakfast and clean and comfortable rooms. Perfect place to stay when visiting Neuschwanstein Castje.

Such a friendly and hospitable hotel. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Our room, on the first floor, was spacious and comfortable. Very nice balcony too. Oodles of hot water and plenty of storage. Restaurant also wonderful. Tasty food, daily specials and plenty of regional fare to sample. Added bonus was a card, giving us free local bus travel. Location ideal for exploring local area, where there is lots to see and do. Really lovely stay.
