Older lady waitres was unpolite in restaurant. English speaking guests are not so welcome. Medium size pool, nothing special. Otherways clean and pleasant. Spa nude people all day around whic is not apropriate for the kids. English speaking is not so good. Older receptions lady had an attitude, but the younger receptions was ok.

Beautiful and relaxing wellness hotel. Great facilities, lovely pool and surroundings. The food was typical bavarian but also some international and fusion cuisines. Courteous service too 😊

The apartment is new and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the linen and the towels are of high quality. The kitchen is small but very well equipped. We spent nice time on the terrace that was heading towards the park. Many activities close by.

We arrived late after getting lost hiking in the dark, then being unable to get the car out of the parking lot. Dinner was over, sidewalks were rolled up, and we were starving. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Helmer Hotel. The location, in the quiet pastoral Bavarian village of Schwangua, is a 5 minute drive to the castles. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. and the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. We highly recommend staying at the Helmer Hotel.

Our 2nd stay in this very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. A good place for hiking in the mountains and use og free bikes (very good idea) to bike around Schwangau and Füssen. An El-kettel in the room would be a nice to have for a couple of tea after a long hike in the mountains.

The Hotal has the family owned and operated charm and attention to detail that make is absolutely wonderful and unique. The view from our balcony of the mountains as village area is spectacular. The area has many great paved walking paths through the beautiful rural area to the cable car and castle area.

We love this hotel and have stayed at it two year in a row. It is located in a quiet village and has plenty of bikes to use to ride through the beautiful surroundings. We love it here.

This hotel is nice and quiet, but in the perfect location! Not only did we get a room with a view of Neuschwanstein, but the beds were immensely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Location is great if you want a hike/ cycle/ drive to the 2x castles or even if you want to go to the cable car. There is a service station not far that is ideal for Sunday morning pastries/ coffee/ food and fuel. Breakfast was not included but could purchase separately. Bottles of water could be purchased during restaurant operating hours. There was also a vending machine for beverages and water as well. Very nice hotel in the small town of Schwangau. Very friendly staff. If you arrive by bus, there is a bus stop just across the street. We stayed at Boutique Hotel Das Rübezahl for a weekend, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel is in a stunning location, right across from Neuschwanstein Castle, which creates an incredible atmosphere. I loved it all. The food, free bike rental, free parking, the cows and scenery, the spa area, the cleanliness and care for the whole property, and the water fountain in the room. Lots of spa options! I got the package with food included and the meals were excellent! I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to go to the Neuschwanstein castle area. Come for the castle, stay for this hotel! A Magical Stay at Hotel Das Rübezahl Our stay at Hotel Das Rübezahl was simply unforgettable. From the stunning views of Neuschwanstein Castle to the warm, attentive service, every moment felt special. The room was elegant and cozy, the spa was pure bliss, and the food was exceptional—beautifully prepared with local flavors. It’s a place where luxury meets heart, and we can’t wait to return.

Good location close to everything, clean, good variety in breakfast. Gave free fussen bus pass.

Clean and Comfortable room with lots of lights. Very good breakfast. Luggage storage seems not very safe because anyone can go in the storage room without any permits. No one serves you.

Location was good, near the center of Fussen and ~7min from railway station. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was nice and clean.

The hotel is truly recommended. The staff is very friendly and helpful… feel welcome with the hospitality of the staff from reception and house keeping. Hotel itself is beautiful as you can see in my picture and definitely will comeback again soon in near future.its like a fairytale town .. covered with snows!! The scenery is outstanding!! Thankful to Trip.com .. i wont be able to come to this hotel...

The environment is good, and it's close to the city center. There's no free parking, it costs 12 euros + 6 euros. Breakfast is 18 euros. Not worth it.

Location is perfect, within 5min walking distance to their old town and market square, 10-15min drive to Neuschwanstein Castle (parking area). The room is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. They provide onsite parking, need check in first, get the keycard to open the garrage gate.

I can only review the dinner: delicious! We are a family of five and everyone tried something off the menu and we shared. This is not my first go with traditional German/Bavarian fare, and I will say this is the best I have eaten so far. Food is made fresh, the staff was nice, flavours were delicious. We also had coffee and apple strudel and it was delicious. Also, cash only. I would eat here again...

So charming and authentic! Be aware this is a traditional rooming house. Beautiful building and traditional restaurant. Come in to town with Euros- they aren't accepting credit cards right now, and cash cannot be exchanged in Fussen.

Be sure to bring cash. But the food is awesome as was the service. They can speak English but I spoke German and was with German people.

All the staff were very welcoming. Facilities and decor were elegantly stylish with a nod to the history of the property.  The location was superb, quiet and with a view of  Schloss Neuschwanstein in the distance. Free bus tickets for the town next were a nice perk.  

It is a family hotel. No one serves after 4pm. Remember to check your emails, otherwise there will be problems with the room card. There is a smell of elders when you enter the door. It has its own parking lot and you can park for free. There is no water heater, but a large bottle of water is provided. The room is small, see the photos.

The hotel is conveniently located, clean, and beautiful. The staff are very helpful. It's very good. Although I checked in late, the staff did not help me solve the problem impatiently.

The hotel service is good, but the check-in process is a bit difficult.
