Really cosy place to stay, excellent food, friendly service, they also gave us a hand with finding tickets to visit the castle. We'll definitely be back.

This hotel was excellent except for the sound proofing, we had a room next to the stairs and we could hear the constant footsteps of people going up and down the stairs

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Helmer Hotel. The location, in the quiet pastoral Bavarian village of Schwangua, is a 5 minute drive to the castles. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. and the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. We highly recommend staying at the Helmer Hotel.

Our 2nd stay in this very nice hotel in beautiful surroundings. A good place for hiking in the mountains and use og free bikes (very good idea) to bike around Schwangau and Füssen. An El-kettel in the room would be a nice to have for a couple of tea after a long hike in the mountains.

The Hotal has the family owned and operated charm and attention to detail that make is absolutely wonderful and unique. The view from our balcony of the mountains as village area is spectacular. The area has many great paved walking paths through the beautiful rural area to the cable car and castle area.

We love this hotel and have stayed at it two year in a row. It is located in a quiet village and has plenty of bikes to use to ride through the beautiful surroundings. We love it here.

This was a beautiful property with a wonderful restaurant on site. The area is beautiful and allowed for amazing sunset walks around the lake. The couple that runs the place were very kind and provided assistance with taxis and such

I had a Fantastic two-night stay here, I wished it had been longer. I had a large family room, certainly bigger than I needed but I immensely enjoyed anyway. Everything was great with the Internet sognal strong, a comfortable bed. The bath was great with plenty of hot water. This lovely hotel is centrally located near Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles. Convenient to a grocery store and Fussen. The service here is amazing and the breakfast buffet offers many options. Be sure to checkout the restaurant!

Very nice hotel in the small town of Schwangau. Very friendly staff. If you arrive by bus, there is a bus stop just across the street. My only complaint is, since there is no air conditioning (normal for Europe) I slept with the windows open and I could here patrons at the small Italian restaurant across the street on their patio as late as 02:00 (2:00am)

The hotel is located is very convenient region. The room is spacious with great view. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. They guided us patiently how to take the public transport to the Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwan Castle.

It's a nice place to stay, and very close to the Neuschawanstein castle. You may even walk to the Horggen Lake side to see the beautiful sunset in the evening.

This was one of our favorite hotels on our European trip. Just what we wanted for German style and ambience. This hotel is nice and quiet, but in the perfect location! Not only did we get a room with a view of Neuschwanstein, but the beds were immensely comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. This is a restaurant and hotel all in one. The restaurant on the first floor, and the guest rooms upstairs. There are free parking spaces, but there are not many parking spaces (but I don’t know if the parking spaces across the road belong to it), and it should be first come, first served. Great boutique hotel located mere minutes from Neuschwanstein Castle. Super clean room on the 3rd floor with great views of the castle at night time. I was able to stay there without any inconveniences. They were flexible with check-in times and even accommodated me late. The location is also great, it's only a 10-minute walk so there's no need to worry about getting lost. However, there doesn't seem to be an elevator, so it might be difficult if you have a lot of luggage.

Our family of four had a great stay here. Our suite had a private patio, two rooms, two bathrooms, and was very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. Parking is limited unfortunately. But the location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Füssen, with easy access to all the sights and delicacies in old town. Walking trails to the nearby waterfall are also very accessible. I stayed at this hotel a while ago. Currently looking at another trip in this area once we can travel and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The staff, owner and accommodation were perfect in a beautifully picturesque village. Highly recommended.

The hotel facilities are good, the surrounding environment is good and quiet. But the location is relatively remote, the breakfast is monotonous, there are no vegetables, the fruits are very few and the quality is very poor, and the restaurant waiters have no sense of service at all.

It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there's a river nearby, so it's a great location for a stroll. I wasn't feeling well so I couldn't use the sauna, but I'd like to try it next time. The front desk staff were kind, and although some of them had difficulty speaking English, they were able to help me politely. The lodge-style room was spacious.

For a Motel it is very nice. Rooms are basic but good. Could do with a littlw fridge. Dogs are allowed and actually very nice located for a stroll into fussen and good spot to stay to visit neuschwanstein castle. Breakfast was a bit so so. We got a room in the ground floor. The room is very nice and clean. Ground floor has no Lake view. They have a sauna in the basement that guest operate themselves. Small but totally does the job. The concept is self check in which works well. There is parking and also a charging station.

I recently stayed at Hartungs Hoteldorf for three nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is perfect — the ski pistes are just a stone's throw away, Austria is right around the corner, and the famous Neuschwanstein Castle is also nearby. The location of the hotel is very nice. All of the staff were very friendly. The food is excellent. The panorama terrace offers a very nice view and delicious cocktails. The room we had was getting a bit old and the green carpet in the hallway is no longer up-to-date. I think the price for the room is a bit too high. The swimming pool in the hotel is spacious and clean.

We were here for a birthday event and the service has been great. They have thought about minute details and the staff was very friendly. It's located very close to the lake and when it's nice weather for sure sitting outside is great. One can park close by but you need a sign from the restaurant to get the allowance. Overall a recommendation for such events.

Balcony view was not great and the Balcony is very small.

Advertised as a hotel but it is a Bed and Breakfast. Upon checking in we were told it will be a vegan breakfast. The website photos showed the room with a balcony overlooking the lake. This was the room that we booked. The room we received faced a busy and noisy road with a balcony. Had we known that it was a Bed and Breakfast, a Vegan breakfast and a room facing a busy road, we would have looked elsewhere

It would be difficult to describe how perfect this little place is. Wonderful and friendly staff, gorgeous location 10 minutes from Fussen, fantastic room and an amazing breakfast.

Comfortable clean and a cozy room. Good shower, kind and hospitable stuff. Good value for money. You can have nice strolls around the nearby lake. As we had an electric car we could recharge it on the hotel parking lot which saved time charging in a charging station.

Had an amazing stay! The staff was incredibly attentive, the room was spotless, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. Perfect location, delicious breakfast, and staff made this a truly luxurious experience. Highly recommend, will definitely return!
