Also, leaving windows open on this noisy neighborhood made it worst.
Hotel offered complementary breakfast as a compensation which was appreciated, however, we have prefered to have AC and to communicate in advance about this and offered new accomodations with the same or better conditions than the ones originally booked.
Breakfast buffet with lots of options, parking in the vecinity, front desk is not available 24h, facilities a little old.
Flat sheet wasn't offered during summer but only a thick comforter, which was inappropriate with missing AC
All in all an ideal hotel if you’re looking for somewhere to spend a couple of nights as a short getaway or stopover. Though having said that I wouldn’t recommend booking for more than 4 or 5 days as there isn’t all that much in terms of on-sight activities or any open outdoor space for lounging or a swimming pool. My stay in Berlin was a pleasant one regardless and this hotel made my nights that much more comfortable and therapeutic.
The location is OK, and you can walk to the core attractions such as Potsdamer Platz and Brandenburg Gate. It is about 600 meters away from the main subway line U2, and there are buses such as M48 at the door, which is convenient for travel.
There is a self-service breakfast restaurant on the first floor, 12.9 euros per person.
The Wi-Fi was good.
