Kongresshotel Potsdam am Templiner See

Potsdam, Am Luftschiffhafen 1 (60 min from centre) 🧭

We booked the hotel for our wedding night for 2 nights. We wanted to use a sauna and I was wearing a Hijab swimming costume. I was told that we are not allowed to wear clothes or swimming costumes in the sauna.. Only Bikini or naked. Me and my husband were really shocked and turned back to our rooms. This was really degrading and unpleasant.

Super Value og super pool area, and fantastic breakfast

Good hotel (services, pool, parking), only the rooms are not 4*, breakfast and dinner are usually good. Stayed for 9 days, only the heater position (on the single room) and bathroom air intake (noisy!) were annoying

The Kongresshotel Potsdam is in a great location, very convenient and close to train and tram stops. The staff is very professional, friendly, and always responsive. I can't wait to stay here again!

Excellent A wonderful hotel and a great find. I'll stay here again. The hotel was big, clean, modern and had all the amenities I needed. I arrived stressed and left relaxed. The spa was superb - one of the best I've stayed in. The food and breakfast was superb. Room was nice and clean. I was able to charge my car, for a price. OK, there were several things I had to pay for on top, but this didn't spoil...

Good accessibility by car, underground carpark. 24h Front desk. Rooms and breakfast okay, albeit a little bit crowded in the restaurant.. Friendly personnel. Good for an overnight stay or a conference.

Dorint Hotel

Potsdam, Jägerallee 20 (in the centre) 🧭

Rich breakfast with huge variety of fruits, cold cuts, cheese, breads, pastries, cold and hot drinks BUT rude stuffs and very disappointing dinner service what offers only fast food what is inappropriate for a 4* hotel.

Great stay! The rooms are comfortable and clean, the spa is relaxing, and the breakfast is excellent. Friendly staff and a quiet location make this place perfect for unwinding.

Does what it promises: rooms are okay, and the location is decent. Breakfast? Also okay. Limited options, but fine for a short stay. It’s a huge hotel, though during our visit it was relatively empty.

Excellent value for money, but breakfast at €25 per person was excessive for a family, so we opted out. Parking at €25 per day was also unfortunately too expensive. The spa and pool are lovely, but we missed having a sauna infusion.

the shower in the bathroom is leaking. the bed has holes. an extra bed is ok for 1 night. the smell in the corridors is very strong from detergents. the smell of sewage in the room. no more than 3. and we were not in the spa zone. the breakfast is not bad. the waiters take away the plates on time. There is a lot of dust in the room.the toilet just looks awful

Nice hotel, a little outdated, but nothing to complain about. Clean and tidy. Absolutely useless reception staff, no greeting, no friendliness, not even any information on where breakfast was served. The restaurant closed at 9 pm. I find this ridiculous. I then had to wait an hour to find an Uber Eats. Surely another hour of opening isn’t too much to ask for late arrivals is it? Breakfast was great...

Mercure Hotel Potsdam City

Potsdam, Lange Brucke (in the centre) 🧭

Just one criticism, which may only apply to certain rooms. There was very little privacy with regard to the bathroom, just clear glass between you and the rest of the room. This was certainly an issue for my teenage children. The toilet could do with a wooden door, again to provide some level of privacy.

Nice attentive staff (a German man in the morning shift) Nice location Spacious room Good shower facilities But hair is everywhere. I would like to stay again if the hotel improves housekeeping service

The hotel was good, not super clean and without amenities but great location. Extra charge for breakfast was super expensive

Stayed for 2 nights. Great location, walking distance to almost everything. Decent room nothing too special but clean and comfortable. The 2 gentlemen at reception were very nice and helpful (don’t remember the names but the one I believe was Coskun?). Should add that there was no mini fridge in my room which was a surprise.

The room is big and the service is very good.

NH Potsdam

Potsdam, Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse 88 (in the centre) 🧭

It's a good hotel in the heart of old city. Everything was good and well maintained. The room was a bit small but overall comfortable.

We opted for the suite which was an excellent choice. Breakfast is ample and very satisfactory. Overall a recommendable hotel with the usual NH level of service, comfort and cleanliness. Ideal location in the center of Potsdam.

Good location. Directly next to the tram station. Walking distance to tourist attractions. Suute room is big and comfy. Nice view from the balcony of the suite room.

No room air condition!!! Not mentioned while booking...very hot in the room... No kettle and coffee in room.... Internal entry yard noisy all night and cigarettes smoking enters your room! Location is great but not for a summer holiday....

Don't miss the entrance for the parking! Small inside market for a last beer.

The best place with very friendly staff. Absolutely well maintained rooms. There are even smoking rooms on request. Also worth mentioning is the rich breakfast buffet, where every guest will be happy! We will be happy to come back.

Maxx Hotel Sanssouci

Potsdam, Allee nach Sanssouci 1 (in the centre) 🧭

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Perfect location. I slept very well.

The hotel is very well maintained and has a top location near Sans Soussi park! The room is clean but the cleaning service is only carried out if you announce it the day before! The room also had a peculiar faint smell if you came in. The breakfast is really nice and the personnel very kind. However, the parking fee of 22 euros for a day in the underground garage, even for hotel guests is too much...

Everything was very good, including the room and the breakfast.

I’d like to thank your hotel employee Chris (sorry, if the name is spelled incorrectly) for his prompt service! He was super polite, attentive, responsive. I booked a room at your hotel early this Christmas morning, but due to a system error, there was a double booking, which could have resulted in me being charged double. I called your hotel & in just a couple of mins the problem was completely solved...

Everything was good but, for some reason, they took my toothbrush and toothpaste. After inquiring, they returned my toothbrush but kept my (medicated) toothpaste. Whatever.

Inselhotel

Potsdam, Hermannswerder 30 (2 km from centre) 🧭

I'd stay again. Beautiful hotel on beautiful grounds. Food was good and the sauna on the water is so cool. Nice indoor and outdoor pool!!!

Beautiful Hotel This amazing hotel and property is located in this kind of peninsula that face a nice small bay. The building is top and the rooms are spacious. The restaurant is too quality and the food is delicious. In the morning the breakfast provides an outstanding selection of good food and traditional German cuisine. Didn't had time to visit and enjoy the other facilities such as the spa, but...

It is an interesting location when you plan to visit Potsdam. Unfortunately the quick connection ti city center of Potsdam via water taxi is not running anymore. So you need to be prepared to cycle or to take your car to get of this little island. The Interieur and set up of this hotel is a little bit out dated and serves its purpose.

Wonderful and Amazing place, Nice Staff and a very friendly managers. The location is a bit far if you don't have a proper car. There is a bus station but later you need to walk to reach there. Wonderful and amazing view.

Great house in a fantastic location. The restaurant is of high quality and comfortably furnished. The menu is very clear, but exclusive. I would describe the price level as 'just about reasonable'. The service is super attentive, without being pushy or annoying. When the weather is nice, the outdoor terrace by the lake is great. Now, at the end of November, it is only suitable as a smoking...

Very nice hotel, convenient location, friendly service and excellent wellness center. We felt comfortable and can only recommend it. We will definitely come back someday.

Seminaris Avendi Hotel

Potsdam, Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße 190 (5 km from centre) 🧭

It was ok property, but they gave me the closest room to the lobby on the ground floor, and it was really noisy, like I could hear every conversation, which was very bothersome.

It was perfectly located for my business trip (at Potsdam University) and the main building seemed fabulous. I was super excited to stay there with all its big glass windows and beautiful river location…unfortunately despite the fact I got a suite, they put me in the boring building with no view across the street (see photos for the two buildings)

Good and comfortable spaces. The breakfast had a good variety of options and good quality. The staff was friendly.

Superb experience Great service and great location 😃

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and comfortable. The coolest part is Spike, the hotel dog. He sits by the reception desk and guests are welcome to greet him

The hotel is a bit old, the breakfast utensils are not very clean, but the staff are quite enthusiastic

Landhotel Potsdam

Potsdam, Reiherbergstrasse 33, 14476 Potsdam, Germaniya (6 km from centre) 🧭

We stayed as a stop on a long return journey - a great opportunity to visit the famous Potsdam castles/palaces in Park Sanssouci! Rooms are neat and clean and relatively modern. Beds can be separated. The train station at 12min walking has trains & buses stopping at the Park Sanssouci. Speaking of which... The trains on the nearby traintracks frequently use their horns when approaching the Golm...

Well located for those going to the nearby university or Max Planck Institute (when their hotel is booked out). But let's say that service in the lobby is something of a throwback to former political structures in Germany: the receptionist looked aghast when we said we had a reservation. It took a moment or two for him to look it up (I think it was in a big book). Then, highly flustered, he fixated...

Landhotel Potsdam offers a tranquil and comfortable stay in a peaceful setting. Guests praise its bright, clean rooms, friendly service, and delicious breakfast with homemade options. The hotel’s restaurant and bistro-style bar are perfect for relaxing evenings. While its location is slightly removed from the city center, it’s well-connected by public transport. Though some find it a bit basic, the...

This is very beautiful hotel located in a very peaceful place a Lillie aways from the Potsdam central but the hotel service is too good and the working staff are very nice.

Wonderful property in the quiet village of Golm. Very well-appointed, spotlessly clean & well furnished. Food excellent, staff even better!

A great hotel for corporate events. The service is excellent, the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly!!!

Hotel Brandenburger Tor Potsdam

Potsdam, Brandenburger Str. 1, 14467 Potsdam, Germaniya (in the centre) 🧭

Great location with all the main sights within walking distance. We also really enjoyed the hotel’s restaurant recommendation—Lodovico was excellent. There were a few disappointments, though. We didn’t receive the welcome drink that was promised with our online reservation, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable, constantly disconnecting. At check-out, there was also a payment mix-up, and I was mistakenly charged...

The staffs are friendly specifically Jhoscolyn and Pntje . I appreciate them for early check-in. The location is also great , there are few bus stops just few steps away from the hotel that you be able to access to everywhere. The breakfast was really tasty with many choices.

Very clean and well situated. Checking in time was later than expected, which is inconvenient when your trip has been long

A lovely hotel, beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Such a good location- we could walk to the Sanssouci Park, restaurants, the Dutch Quarter and and the film museum.

We loved our stay. No complaints. Wonderful and extremely helpful and nice. staff

Perfect Excellent hotel, near parking garagem, amazing room, great breakfast.

Hotel am Luisenplatz

Potsdam, Luisenpl. 5 (in the centre) 🧭

Elm travelers Great hotel for exploring the area, room was old style as was the hotel but very nice and comfortable; breakfast is extra but excellent - served in the adjoining restaurant, hotel is directly on Luisenplatz; paid parking but great for local transport connections; room was clean, spacious and comfortable

Absolutely lovely! Very welcoming and helpful! I had room 113 with a lovely balcony. Very convenient location.

It was a nice stay. Very close to Hbf and main attractions. We loved the city.

Excellent location! Friendly staff! Older decoration, limited sockets/USB.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. It has almost everything you need including an umbrella (that's really a nice touch). Could do with a kettle and some cups for tea and coffee. Conveniently located near the end of a high street with a great selection of restaurants and retail shops. The breakfast was fantastic with a good variety of offerings. There's even a sauna and...

Waveboard Hotel & Boardinghouse

Potsdam, Schiffbauergasse 13A, 14467 Potsdam, Germaniya (2 km from centre) 🧭

It was great with family. We had little toddlers and grandma with us, all worked out well.

Clean Room, treats for the dog, nice view to the waterfront, sweet little cafe in the lobby.

This location was perfect for a relaxing vacation in Potsdam. The location staff was very helpful and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.

A beautiful Art Nouveau house in a quiet neighborhood. The building itself houses the private eye clinic of the couple who run it, a pharmacy, a traditional restaurant, and a café. The rooms are antique-style and very clean. The white marble bathroom includes a shower and a whirlpool tub. Breakfast has everything you could need. The staff are all very, very friendly. I would gladly come back!

Clean rooms in one of the beautiful, well-preserved town houses in the middle of Potsdam. Still quiet and relaxing. Nice contact, good service. Antique furniture at its finest. We enjoyed it.

Very good, central location - nice, clean rooms - extremely nice staff - absolutely recommendable. I would love to come again!

Hotel Ascot Bristol

Potsdam, Asta-Nielsen-Straße 2 (7 km from centre) 🧭

Parking was not friendly and easy to miss if don’t pay attention. Room didn’t have microwave and refrigerator was very small that can hardly put leftover in it or extra drinking water.

We used this as a base for our trip to Berlin and was out all day so didn't use any hotel facilities. You have to catch a tram to Potsdam across the road from the hotel and then a train to the centre of Berlin about every 10 minutes. There are shops opposites including a supermarket

Located in the Drewitz district, it's conveniently close to the motorway and offers excellent tram connections (trams run every 10 minutes). The rooms are very spacious, even if they aren't the most contemporary in style. Daily housekeeping is still provided here. Breakfast is excellent and offers everything you could wish for. The service is also very good. The restaurant 'Journal' is highly recommended...

Met out expectations. The location the hostel is build at is not trying to win a beauty award, but the connection towards Berlin and the inner city of Potsdam is great. Also through the night Trams are available. The rooms are large and even got an hair dryer. Only the pillows lack in comfort. The crew is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hostel!

Well, the hotel is old-fashioned, but the price is relatively fair; the breakfast is fine. Looks like only elderly people stay here

We return every time we are in Potsdam, Good location, great hotel with nice restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to check in and out. Very good breakfast buffet

greet Hotel Potsdam am Park Sanssouci

Potsdam, Forststraße 80 (45 min from centre) 🧭

It would be excellent if tenants could have a kettle for boiling water in the hotel rooms, to boil water in the cold winter, for drinking coffee or tea packages to warm up ourselves in the cold harsh winter, when all restaurants are closed at night. Also a washing machine facility to wash our clothes.

The parking lot has very limited parking spots with a charge of 8 euros per night . The room is big for its price , comfy and clean . Free sparkling water bottle in room . The elevator was broken when we stayed there . Had to carry suitcases via stairs up and down .

A basic clean hotel near to the Sanssouci Palace. We stayed for 1 night only. Parking was provided on site but with charges

The reception was very friendly; Unfortunately, there weren't enough seats for breakfast, except outside, which was too cold; the service in the breakfast room was very friendly, despite the high volume of guests. The room was okay, but unfortunately, the hairdryer and the lamp on the desk weren't working either; What I didn't like was that they charged extra for parking. The hotel's location is very...

The rooms are about the same size, but there are too many beds, which take up a lot of space. There is no kettle in the room. To boil water, you have to go to the front desk to borrow water instead of the kettle, which they don't lend. The breakfast was not as rich as described online.

Hotel am Jägertor Potsdam

Potsdam, Hegelallee 11 (in the centre) 🧭

Lovely hotel, good location, friendly staff, very clean and I believe is the best in Potsdam. Areas of improvement are: they need to install a ramp for luggage arrival and departure. The steps are challenging with heavy luggage. No bellman to help either. I think the breakfast is too expensive at 24 euros rack ( nearly $30 with taxes/fees) they should offer a continental option for less. No restaurant...

One of the nicest hotels I ha e ever staid in !

Don't Miss This One! This is true gem situated in the best possible part of Potsdam...right across from the Old Town but away from the noise. The hotel is impeccable. I travel almost 100 nights per year and this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. From the attentive staff to the delicious breakfast to the beautifully appointed rooms - this is a 10/10.

I stayed at Landhotel Potsdam for half a week during a conference at Potsdam University. I really liked the rooms—they’re classically designed with full wooden furniture and marble showers. It felt warm and welcoming, and I really enjoyed spending time in the room to work and relax. Breakfast is served in the hotel’s pleasant restaurant. Since I visited in the winter and there were very few guests...

Lovely hotel and well situated for the old town - very friendly staff lovely room and nice bar. Nice old style decor but all new and sparkingly clean. I didn't have the breakfast buffet but I looked in at it. Seemed really nice. I definitely recommend this hotel

Excellent hotel in a perfect location; we especially liked the breakfasts! This was our second stay, and we will return.

Guest house Villa Fritz

Potsdam, Berliner Str. 132 (2 km from centre) 🧭

Simply sensationally furnished, so lovingly and with such attention to detail and history, you feel transported to another time and can practically breathe history in this house. And yet, the furnishings are extremely comfortable and nothing is lacking! For some, it's completely unimportant, but I thought it was fantastic that even washcloths were included with the towels. Five stars are well deserved...

We stayed at Villa Fritz for a weekend trip. This stylish villa is in a fantastic central location, and all the sights are easily accessible on foot, by car, or by public transport. There is ample parking right at the house. Our room was charming and tastefully decorated, with a very large, comfortable bed and lovely furniture. There was also a small coffee and tea station in the room. Lots of information...

I was there from October 13th to 15th and I have to say, it was fantastic! The location is ideal – quiet, yet still easily accessible from the city centers. The Polish, Ukrainian, or Kazakhstani guest relations manager at reception was wonderful. She even helped me with the coffee machine, which wasn't working properly and which I was struggling with. The next day, I also noticed how they always check...

We had a wonderful stay in this traditional building centrally placed close to Potsdam City Centre. Everything was arranged via mails and telephone. The key was waiting for us together with a bottle of sect and a tulip on the table. Comfortable rooms and everything impecable. The bathroom and a small kitchen was downstairs and we knew this up front. For us this was no problem, but must be considered...

Great hotel with a nice atmosphere in an old villa. There was also tea, coffee, a kettle and mineral water in the room, a mini fridge and breakfast place settings. Breakfast is not offered. Sweets on the pillow and fresh flowers in the bathroom - everything was lovingly done. Friendly employees! The old wooden floor creaks under the carpet, the wallpaper has a funky antique pattern and the furniture...

I deliberately chose this accommodation to travel in Berlin. Good idea. An hour by car into the city, train and train with a waiting time of 50 minutes. Great connection to the main station, parking situation is completely relaxed in Potsdam. The accommodation is great. Large, very sweetly furnished, has everything you need and more, so 6 stars would also be appropriate
