Hotel am Jägertor in Potsdam

Lovely hotel, good location, friendly staff, very clean and I believe is the best in Potsdam. Areas of improvement are: they need to install a ramp for luggage arrival and departure. The steps are challenging with heavy luggage. No bellman to help either. I think the breakfast is too expensive at 24 euros rack ( nearly $30 with taxes/fees) they should offer a continental option for less. No restaurant , so if you arrive in the evening tired from travel you have to figure out Uber eats. They have a small bar but it’s manned by front desk staff, therefore you must wait until they are available to serve you, I stayed in a superior suite. It was nearly perfect. Large room with French doors opening to a deck with a cafe set up, It’s not very noisy even though it’s in the front facing the street, Items in the mini bar were included, that was a nice touch. Finally the water quality was superb. Germany has the cleanest fresh tasting water. There was no hint of chlorine like most hotels and it didn’t dry out your skin and hair. I love that. I would definitely return

This is true gem situated in the best possible part of Potsdam...right across from the Old Town but away from the noise.

The hotel is impeccable. I travel almost 100 nights per year and this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. From the attentive staff to the delicious breakfast to the beautifully appointed rooms - this is a 10/10.

I stayed at Landhotel Potsdam for half a week during a conference at Potsdam University. I really liked the rooms—they’re classically designed with full wooden furniture and marble showers. It felt warm and welcoming, and I really enjoyed spending time in the room to work and relax. Breakfast is served in the hotel’s pleasant restaurant. Since I visited in the winter and there were very few guests, they offered à la carte service instead of a buffet. The selection was rich, though the quality of some of the products wasn’t top-tier. Still, I enjoyed the breakfast overall. What really surprised me was how well located the hotel is for exploring Potsdam’s city center—which turned out to be surprisingly lively, with plenty of dining and drinking options for evenings out with colleagues.

Lovely hotel and well situated for the old town - very friendly staff lovely room and nice bar. Nice old style decor but all new and sparkingly clean. I didn't have the breakfast buffet but I looked in at it. Seemed really nice. I definitely recommend this hotel

Lovely hotel! Highly recommended!
My stay was a week long and I enjoyed this hotel so much. The staff is friendly. Breakfast had so many choices and the breakfast room had a nice view into the courtyard. The rooms are pretty and comfortable. And the hotel’s location was near so many restaurants. I will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic hotel in the middle of the Dutch Quarter; beautiful area and walkable to everything! 2 min walk to bus stop; 7 min walk to tram stop. Beautiful and clean rooms, and the cute balcony was a bonus. No complaints, but one thing for perspective travelers to note: there is no restaurant. There is a breakfast service and a bar, but no actual restaurant, meaning, no lunch, no dinner, and no room service. Not a complaint really, just be aware when booking as this is somewhat unclear from the description. There are many wonderful dining options within 5-10 min walk. Overall great stay; would stay here again.
