It’s pretty convenient, walkable to train station & shopping. Safe , nearby police station .
Cleans room every other day . Staff are friendly.
Breakfast is included, it’s good .

Could have helped greatly if water is provided , a bottle a day at least for guests. The water in the lobby is not replenished.during the day .

The room was super clean and has everything I needed for the trip. The personel there were very nice. The breakfast is great. Love it! Btw,the place is only 3-4 minutes walk from the main station, which makes it very convenient. To the city, where the nice restaurants are, one would walk about 5-10 minutes.

Stayed at this hotel from the 4th of November till the 5th of November. When you park your car, it is street parking. At a cost of ten cents every four minutes at a machine on the street. Unfortunately, every time I tried to put more than €4 in it,it Rejected my money so have to go a few times to make sure the car had valid parking, When I asked at the hotel if there was another way of doing it (ie like other hotels , you pay the hotel for parking and you dont have to go back very hur and pay again) I was informed by the boss of the hotel that he hadn't bought the street outside and I was being tight and didn't want to pay for parking so when I told I would be writing a review to worn people about the parking situation the boss of the hotel flipped out with me and tried to kick me out of the hotel so if you stay There be very careful and don't ask any questions Good luck

Overall, the accommodation was OK for an overnight stay. On arrival, you were told to hand in your room key when you leave the hotel. However, this seems unsafe, as there is no safe in the single room. The reception was not manned in the evening when I returned to the hotel and wanted my room key back. There was no notice at the reception and the keys were freely accessible, only a camera on the ceiling would identify an unauthorized person, but would not prevent entry.
The room doors do not appear to be fire-proof and must always be locked, as the door does not close automatically from the outside.
In addition, the room faced the street, and it was a bit louder at night with the window open. The window had to be left open because otherwise it was too warm in the room. In addition, the hotel lights were on directly next to the window on the outside wall, which made it very bright at night and prevented you from sleeping.
Sleeping was made even more difficult by a very hard, large pillow, and my ears hurt after a short time. The second, smaller pillow was softer, but too thin. The single bed is less than 2m long and there is a chest of drawers at the foot of the bed, which makes it impossible to stretch your legs.
The breakfast was OK, but unfortunately there were no whole grain alternatives (rolls)

Friendly staff and excellent breakfast
Hotel is nothing fancy but has all the basics. Centrally located, friendly staff, and wonderful breakfast.

We enjoyed the cosmopolitan location and the wonderful variety of Turkish restaurants in the area.

Very old fashioned. Cold room, heating was turned off. Directly in Hagen's inner city. Very noisy. You can basically hear the people on the street talking if you are on first floor. Breakfast room on 5th floor, only accessible by stairs since elevator only goes to 4th.

Overall ok but too expensive IMO
