Nice hotel stay for a night. Big rooms, little dated. Could hear some traffic from Road but good location and easy walking distance to old town kettwig, the river and the station to take you into Essen. Breakfast had a good selection and hotel staff were very nice and helpful.

A very pleasant experience for an overnight stay in Kettwig. A great place to dine with generous portions . The breakfast was very good witt a real friendly and attentive service. The rooms were fine ( maybe the bed a bit low ) All in all a perfect place to stay.

Do not book here. Was this weekend and too many things were off for what pay for it: noise till 23.00 due to a bowlingalley, breakfast without fresh coffee, vegatables and only apples as fruit, 2nd day at 09.00 no more brown bread and not replenished. And checkin and checkout were far from friendly. Only the restaurant that served diner was a good experience.
