We stayed at the hotel about two weeks ago, and I am struggling to find the right words to describe our negative experience.
We arrived around 10:00 PM and parked next to the hotel on Am Stadtbat, as our vehicle was too tall to fit in the main car park. Despite seeing several guest cars parked in the same area, we were told that we could not park there and were advised to use the nearby car park instead. When we asked if it was safe, we were assured that it was.
The next morning, we discovered that our car had been broken into. Many items were stolen, most of them belonging to our child, and the vehicle itself was scratched and damaged. When we approached the reception for help, the staff showed little to no concern. They even told us they had no broom or vacuum cleaner to lend, leaving us to manage the situation entirely on our own.
We were shocked by this lack of hospitality. To make matters worse, when I later submitted a written complaint to the hotel, it was completely ignored.
I strongly believe that compassion, understanding, and empathy — not indifference or coldness — should always be at the heart of guest service. Sadly, at this hotel, we experienced the opposite.
Without hesitation, I will address this matter further with the hotel’s headquarters so that it receives the attention it deserves

Easy check in, parking was secure and good value for the middle of town. Rooms were spacious, modern and clean and felt classy.

A little dated rooms lacking some basic amenities. Breakfast was a nice mixture of hot and cold food. Nice bar and pond which the kids loved. Friendly staff.

Nice hotel with comfortable bed but sofa for kids was not so comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and of good choice but unfortunately there were flies sitting on ham and cheese area, which we didn't like. Overall I can recommend for short stays.

Centrally located and room is well sized for a family - not large and not small. Perfect for a night stay. Toilet was clean and enough towels were nearly arranged. Water kettle, tea bags , condensed milk and coffee powder were also present which is not usual for every hotel.

The breakfast was good, and the service was satisfactory.
I used the underground parking, which cost 9 euros.
The building and facilities felt a bit outdated.

Front desk friendly, hotel feels a little dated. See pictures, in regards to the amenities a simple bottle of water would have been a nice touch (like you get it every where else). The smallest available tv in the room, making it hard to see from the adjacent bed. Biggest mishap during the stay was that the housekeeping lady opened the door without knocking or ringing any bell, in my view this is housekeeping 101 and should not happen and staff should be retrained and it should be enforced strictly if you want to call yourself 4 star hotel!!!

The hotel is in serious need of a makeover. Rooms (inkl. Bathroom) hallways, common areas and the restaurant seem out of another time. The room, though, was very clean, the mattress comfortable and the breakfast buffet rich and plenty.
