We were on business trip for Messe Dusseldorf and we choose hotel Mathildenhof as our resting place, as we did 5 years ago. The owner changed but accommodation remained at highest level of service. The staff was very pleasant and heart-welcomed, especially junior manager, and we felt like home, being so far from it. Thank You for making our staying truly enjoyable.We look forward coming back again.

The cheapest and most disappointing breakfast at a hotel for 214 Euros a night! A couple of slices of cheese, a couple of cold cuts, basic coffee from a thermos, stale bread (just a few rolls), there’s still room to cut back on hospitality and make a profit, although the reputation may soon spread. Also, the see-through door in the bathroom is really wild in a room for at least four people in it!

Wonderful!!
We have stayed in a lot of hotels, over the last 50 years. This is by far the best one we have ever stayed in. There has only been one other that we have given almost top marks to, but this one excelled. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful. They went far and beyond, what you would normally expect. They were so helpful and answered every question we had, even to writing instructions, for the bus and trams. It really felt like a home from home, but without having to do anything. The TV could be better situated, so that you can watch it from the sofa, is my only suggestion.

Nice little hotel, quiet despite the place (near the road). Polite and helpful people. But they have to renovate everything

The staff here are very helpful and friendly! The restaurant and bar was nice as well. Had an amazing time staying here.

I ate at the restaurant (didn't stay in a hotel) and the food was very good. I ordered the stake and it was served swiftly. It was very nice sitting outside as well. I can totally recommend the restaurant.

I had an appointment with friends in the Restaurant for dinner. Of my food I was disappointed. As I left it almost untouched, go back, apologized to the waiter, and during the wars. I had to pay the full price and got a coffee, etc. as an excuse for the food. The Mathildenhof sees me, unfortunately, never again.

Outstanding service. Great place to eat but the rooms are a bit low quality. I had the room on the top floor during summer time. No AC. It was very hot. The bathroom tiny.
