Located on the banks of the Rhine, next to the World Heritage Site of the Upper and Middle Rhine Valley, it is very convenient to take a walk along the Rhine. The overall service is good and the service is very enthusiastic. Small town hotel, the front desk can help call a taxi.

The room is big, but a bit noisy

The hotel is relatively old. I specially booked a room with a balcony facing the Rhine River. However, I found that the balcony was blocked and I could not see the Rhine River at all.

The hotel has a unique style. It is next to the canal, in a small town. There are many Asian restaurants nearby. The environment is very quiet and the overall environment is quite comfortable. The hotel has a buffet and the sausages are good.

We always enjoy spending a few relaxing days at this idyllic hunting lodge. This hotel was a unbelievable surprise as our family was walking along the famous Rheinsteig trail. The hotel and restaurant service were the best we have had in Germany in 10 years living here. The kids loved the pool overlooking the deer area, and the food was unbelievable in the restaurant. We will find an excuse to come back here again.

We had made a reservation on their website for a 'comfort double room' of € 171, but on the spot we got a smaller room of which a photo on the website is an example of a standard room of € 151, -. Everything as expected, the concierge was so kind to wait for us after 10 pm for our check in. The breakfast food is more than the usual normal breakfast. I highly recommend the the Hotel Traube Rüdesheim.

Quite good, excellent location, great value for money, and warm service. It's backed by sprawling vineyards and right next to Drosselgasse. More suitable for Chinese guests, as there's a water kettle available to boil water.

This is a very charming town. I visited in late September, and even though it was considered the off-season, it was still quite lively. It seemed like there were far more European tourists than those of us from further afield. The pubs in Drosselgasse were buzzing at night. This hotel does not offer luxury or experiences. The reception is in the Traube premises but for example our room was in the next building. There is an elevator but still in the lobby and some rooms you have to climb stairs. Traditional metal keys, small rooms, no air conditioning. If you can't sleep in the noise, it is worth asking for a room that is not facing the street. Breakfast is reasonable...

Definitely an absolutely beautiful place with a lot of charming, history and nice views either to vineyards or the Rihn. We couldn’t imagine that this hotel was really keeping the essence of the 2n oldest hotel in Germany. They are doing amazing! Oh yes...this is an awesome experience! What a great find in todays rushed modern world. This hotel is 500 years old and has the feel of a historical place. Worth the visit...I consider it a MUST.

Beautiful hotel with a great view of the Rhine. Comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. This historic hotel is well-preserved and is fun to experience. The trains are frequent and loud throughout the night, so this may not be the right place for light sleepers or if you forgot your earplugs. Rooms are not air conditioned, but you can request a fan. Friendly staff at check-in.

Great stay. Three nights in September in room #12. Balcony at front with view of Rhine River. Room was very comfortable. Adjustable beds, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee maker, ample storage, renovated bathroom. Very good quality breakfast with eggs, meats, cheeses, and fresh breads/pastries/jams. Enjoyed a reasonably priced 3-course dinner with good local wines. Marco was a great host.

The rooms are nice and clean, and the views are beautiful. However, I feel that the hotel owner could be more welcoming and respectful towards both guests and staff.

Wonderful place. We stayed in comfort double room, with a beautiful river view. Clean, cosy, very light (2 windows), all small things available. Comfortable bike parking in the garage. Welcoming staff, also speaking English. Only downside (as in all hotels along the river) - if you open the window you can hear also the road.

We had a cozy top floor room. No elevator( older building) so be prepared to walk the spiral stairs with you bags. Part of the charm.

Delightful property. Great location and having the bike rental at the hotel was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Although no AC, the area is quiet at night so opening the windows for cool air is good.

Had such a wonderful 3night stay to end our 4week holiday. The hotel is such a joy to stay at, generous size rooms and we had a newly refurbished bathroom which was so clean and had excellent water pressure. We stayed several times at Trapp. Rooms are very good and clean. People are friendly and always helpful. Breakfast is rich. Situation of the hotel is perfect in the centre. Only a pity that the restaurant is permanently closed, but there are some good restaurants in the direct neighborhood. Very recommended.

Conveniently located for sightseeing in Rüdesheim, it's also close to the marina. While the hotel facilities are somewhat dated, the rooms are spacious and clean.

Modern hotel close to Bahnhof Stadt. Smooth and friendly check-in. Spacious room on railroad side was quiet with triple paned windows. Bathroom very small but efficient. Shower has a notch in the shelf, never seen before, handy to hang my razor. Extensive breakfast.
