The front desk and dining staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean. The hotel has an elevator, and the breakfast was delicious. There are pharmacies, affordable clothing stores, and small supermarkets nearby. If I return to Rüdesheim, this hotel will be my first choice.

We stayed several times at Trapp.
Rooms are very good and clean. People are friendly and always helpful. Breakfast is rich. Situation of the hotel is perfect in the centre. Only a pity that the restaurant is permanently closed, but there are some good restaurants in the direct neighborhood. Very recommended.

My 4 year old loved seeing all the duck decor around. The staff was super helpful and understanding when I had to arrange an early exit. The room was spacious and delightful, air conditioning was great for the summertime. They paid attention to details and everything was clean and well kept. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the included breakfast as we had an early flight to catch. I will try to stay here again next time I do an overnight in Rüdesheim. Wonderful choice.

The location was perfect, close walking distance to anything we wanted to see, yet away from the crowds.

Conveniently located for sightseeing in Rüdesheim, it's also close to the marina. While the hotel facilities are somewhat dated, the rooms are spacious and clean.

My husband and myself, as well as another couple, stayed for 3 nights March 22-24, 2025.
I highly recommend this hotel for a variety of reasons. The people who own and work there are absolutely lovely, providing excellent recommendations and assistance with reservations, taxis, and local information.
The hotel itself is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The shower has excellent water pressure, and the mini fridge was a wonderful addition!
You couldn’t want for anything else at the beautiful breakfast buffet. It was a great selection of wonderful quality.
The location is perfectly suited in town, and a very safe area for group or solo travellers.
We will be back if our travels bring us back to the area! Thank you for everything!

Spent 2 very pleasant nights here. Made to feel very welcome. Room was nice size and lovely high pressure shower. All needed when stepping off the Rheinsteig. Breakfast was very good. Location beside a beautiful church and close to many bars and sights. Would certainly recommend.

For a total of around EUR 170 per night, I would have expected air conditioning. At breakfast there was canned fruit salad, on Sunday at 8:30 there was no more bacon for scrambled eggs and the scrambled eggs had probably been there for a long time. With the wine festival, it was very loud until well after 1:00 in the morning and because of the lack of air conditioning, we had to leave the windows open. It was over 30 degrees during the day and that's certainly not unusual there. There aren't enough parking spaces either, so it's better not to move the car. The room was very small and overall the furnishings were very dated and overdecorated. Because of the small room, the television was of course also very small. The reception closed at 6 p.m. at the latest, unbelievable for a EUR 170 hotel. I wouldn't book the hotel again.
