Mainz, Draiser Str. 136 f, 55128 Maynts, Germaniya (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Quiet hotel with simple but comfortable rooms. Everything was clean and tidy, although the hotel doesn’t feel very modern. A good option if you want a calmer place away from bigger crowds. Staff was friendly and unobtrusive.
Great service and super clean rooms! Very friendly reception. Great place to stay if you want to be close to the university.
Pleasant location, friendly staff, good parking
I stayed five nights and would book again. The location is very pleasant and safe, in a residential area. It is short (5-minute) enjoyable walk to the bus stop. Public transportation is excellent, so all of Mainz is easily accessible. Additionally it is only a 10-minute walk to the Gutenberg university.
The hotel is rather short staffed, but they...
The breakfast was good and the coffee machine was a nice addition.
The refrigerator in the room was not functioning.
Unfortunately patrons smoked just outside the entrance.
Close to a bus stop making it comvenient.
Nice, clean and calm hotel in walking distance to university. I enjoyed my stay.
For this price I find the hotel definitely recommendable. The location is very quiet. The rooms are really super clean, renovated and well kept. Can’t comment on the parking places as I’m here by train, or on the breakfast. But the personnel are very friendly and uncomplicated.

It took 10 minutes to reach this hotel on foot from the Mainz Hbf station. Location is in a residential neighborhood in the "Neustadt" quarter - not upper-end by any means, but not nasty either. There's a Rewe grocery store one block away plus a few scattered small-scale places where you might get prepared food or coffee. The reception has limited hours. Staff there was friendly and helpful. I stayed...
The location is perfect for anyone wanting to stay near the Centre. The problems however are the cleanliness, comfort, and condition of the hotel.
Good clean hotel, in a residential area about 15-20 minute walk from the main square in Mainz. Balcony was a bonus - and being near to a supermarket was good too. Staff were friendly. Rooms are really clean and good size. Breakfast was average but enough available to start the day in a good way. Would recommend
The location is very central. I was able to check in at any time; I used the contactless check-in after reception opened. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. One small drawback is that there was no air conditioning and the fan didn't work.
I would avoid the hotel during the height of summer, but otherwise I would be happy to stay there again.
Really great budget hotel! Within walking distance of everything you could want to see in Mainz and very friendly staff. Would recommend.
Since the hotel I was staying at was full, I booked this hotel for my daughter because it was only a few minutes away from our hotel.
The only thing I have to complain about is that the window, when tilted, was tilted towards you because the hinges were broken.
The train station is about a 10-minute walk.
There are also many restaurants and shops, such as a Rewe supermarket, nearby.

Basic but clean and breakfast very good!
Great location. Room was clean. Breakfast was great.
Unfortunately the room was for too warm to sleep despite the heaters in the room being off.
Clean, staff very friendly, good location
Friendly and helpful staff, close to the old town
Great location with a charming courtyard and area around the hotel. Easy walk to the Dom and other sights. Great breakfast and clean room with plenty of space.
Former monastery. Basic room but impeccable cleanliness and ver comfortable bed. Location within in the old city was great for sightseeing and close to river cruise docking area.

The hotel was located in a great location for attending the Christmas market. The room itself was spacious and very clean and stay overall with excellent.
Great Bed, comfortable stay. Thank you!
Very nice friendly place in a great location.
Highly recommended!
This was a very simple place for a very reasonable price in a very good location. The quality windows really cut down the street traffic noise which was very helpful at night for sleeping. They also accommodated my bike in a secure location. I was very happy with this place. When checking in you may have to wait a little bit because someone is not always there. I was early to check in but once they...
Hotel owner was super friendly and helpful. Room was large and very comfortable. We were able to store our bikes in a secure area. Having a kitchen was awesome. Seems fairly recently renovated and has modern bathroom and room interior. Great locarion, basically in the downtown core and all major sights are walkable. I would stay here again. Recommended!

Very nice hotel very good place good service i like
very friendly reception, bike allowed in the room. clean and big room, even has a bathtub. good breakfast, silent location, will come again
Okay for the price. But the staff is very friendly.
The hotel met my needs beyond expectation. A big thank you to Trip Inn Hotels
The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, with good services including breakfast and complimentary snacks. Staff were extremely helpful and polite, and a member of staff was on hand at reception to check me in even though I arrived late in the evening. My room was huge and amazing value, and was set up for me beautifully. The location, while not central in Mainz, was reasonably well...
The hotel is a little bit creepy. They have an underground floor but the elevator button at the underground floor didn't work at all. I waited for ten minutes like an *****. Breakfast was decent though. The Viet food around the corner was great

The room was spotless, with pleasant decoration and amazing feeling pillows and duvet.
There is space for free of charge parking and if the location is convenient to you then it is highly recommended.
WiFi connection was great in general and they asked me to pay 15 euros extra as I arrived at 12:30 and asked to check in, in case the room was ready. Or I had to wait for a couple of hours which I found...
This is budget accommodation but gives you all the basics you need. Location is tricky, in an industrial area, so without car you may not want to stay here. Our own point of criticism is cleanliness. A real clean of the room seems to be too much to ask for, not sure how often the grubby carpet is being vacuumed, for example. Bring your flip flops then you are ok.
The location is a bit remote, about a 15-minute walk from the tram. The owner is very nice, and the single rooms at the B&B Hotel are spacious enough, so space is never a problem.
Average budget hotel with free parking
It is described as a budget hotel (it is certainly not three star, more one star) and it is just that. I would say €75, which I paid for a room was too much. There are only limited hours when a member of staff is available.
Basic and affordable budget accommodation within industrial area. Never had breakfast myself.
Vending machine for snacks and drinks in lobby.

Right off the train across the street to find this nice and friendly hotel. Breakfast costs extra. Very busy area around the train station.
I had a fantastic stay at the AC Hotel Mainz. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-designed, with plenty of storage and a great layout. The air conditioning worked perfectly—especially appreciated during the warm weather—and the in-room refrigerator was a convenient touch. Stayed in room 501 at the top. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the Adam & Eve restaurant. The staff there...
This was very convenient to the train station. The restaurant was wonderful. Great Tapas. Everyone was very friendly. Our only negative is it was listed as having laundry services but we found it not to be available on a weekend. There is a self service laundry about a block away.
Fantastic experience. The hotel doesn't look like much from the busy street, but once inside it is a great little hotel. I was in Mainz for work with several others, and it was a great central location near the train station with direct lines to FRA. The amenities were not luxury, but everything was very well attended to. My room was on the second floor overlooking the square out front. The room was...
While my stay was pleasant overall, I did experience some noise from neighboring rooms at night. It seemed the doors closing were quite loud. Perhaps a modification to the door closures could help mitigate this.
The hotel is located diagonally opposite the Mainz train station, which is very convenient for catching the train. The authentic German restaurant Zenz is a 100-meter walk away, which is highly recommended.
The room has a large city view and can accommodate children with an extra bed. The room has enough space and the facilities are quite complete and standard. The lobby bar and restaurant are well...

The rooms are spacious and quiet, which is rare in the city center. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, which was a big plus since I worked during my stay. The breakfast was delicious, with local specialties. What I liked the most is that the hotel is just a few steps away from the Römer and the main square.
Beautiful quiet location, near enough to the city centre 👌
It was a super quiet hotel in quiet neighborhood. No road traffic noise. The rooms were extremely small and basic. Plenty of Parking available on property.
This is a great hotel for short stays and you are only in town for business. Or you have something to take care of at the University Medical Hospital.
Clean hotel, large room, weird shower. Overall a positive experiance.. really cheap for what you get too

This is a small local hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable. The rooms are well appointed, with a private bathroom. It is a comfortable place to stay.
A great location for budget travelers! Only steps from the Bahnhof and then from the rest of a very friendly city. Be careful you could easily walk past the entrance. With several restaurants and shops near. It's conveniently located so that you are a short walk from all the seasonal event that Mainz has! Making it my first thought when I'm in Mainz.
Accommodation and receptionist was very good( the little cleaver boy)❣️ ..
However the breakfast was a disaster, I wouldn't recommend the breakfast, the wasn't e even eggs, preferably coffee etc
Located near to bus stop. Rooms are good and maintenance is also good. Food and service is average. No lift so you have to take steps all the time. Bed condition was poor.
Hotel is great! Was there for some days for a work trip and had everything I needed. There’s an Italian restaurant in-house where you can pick-up dinner; there’s a supermarket just opposite of the hotel as well as a bus stop. Staff was incredibly friendly and nice. Rooms, facilities were standard. Very convenient hotel! Would definitely come here again when in Mainz.
It is close enough to the centre and the room is comfortable. There is free wi-fi and free parking. In the hotel there is an Italian restaurant. The bathroom is large and comfortable.

The place was reasonably priced, and although a little old, it was clean and tidy—overall, good value for the money. However, checking in was not a pleasant experience. Room clean but dated. Onsite restaurant was good. Parking on site.
Just been there! Food: 5 stars! Service: 5 stars! ... With that I could actually end my review, because for me the 5 stars are already fixed.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.
The ambiance is solidly 70s, and the rooms are super spartan. Exactly what you'd expect from an upscale hotel.
The owner was very friendly, but I wouldn't recommend the garage—cars occasionally go missing. It happens to everyone.
Also worth mentioning are the Terminus Stuben. Here, you can have a few drinks with the owner in a lively atmosphere. If you...
The owner is a gem! He felt like family. The location a stone’s throw from the train station was super-convenient. The biggest drawback was the lack of air conditioning. The weather during our stay was very hot, and our room was a bit like a sauna. Afternoons and evenings were pretty rough — had to stay hydrated.
Very friendly owner. Cleanliness was okay. The room was a day older, but perfectly adequate for a business trip. I was just not happy with the shower.
If you want a luxury resort, this isn't your place. If you want a safe, quiet, clean, and above all convenient place to sleep, this is it. Just steps away from the train station, beautiful central Mainz is very walkable from here. It's a small place with personal service. If I ever get a chance to go back, I'll certainly stay there again. Mainz is beautiful, by the way.
Well run, excellent location, friendly service at all times

A very quiet and clean hotel, conveniently located near the U-Bahn. There's a coffee machine at the entrance and free hot water, which is fantastic and convenient. Overall, it's a very good hotel with great value for money.
The only hotel I stayed at during the entire trip where I didn't book breakfast, and the price was very reasonable for Germany 🇩🇪. They gave me a family room, and the front desk staff were very friendly. The town was beautiful and peaceful.
No hairdryer!!! But the reservation showed a hairdryer was included!!! I searched everywhere after washing my hair last night but couldn't find Haartrockner. I went downstairs to find customer service, but it was closed…
However, the price of 399 RMB is already a great deal. It was very clean, and it felt like it had been renovated; the overall place was very tidy, except for a few slightly worn areas...
It is a little bit old style and kind of retro feeling, but it is absolutely worth the money.
This place is absolutely amazing, it is easily reachable and quiet and from here you can easily visit the wine region. The staff are easygoing and shares useful tips with the visitors.

I was looking for a hotel in Wiesbaden for a conference and found a place to stay for two nights. The room's furnishings were functional, but could use a more modern touch. Ok
Perfectly acceptable. If you are looking for an affordable place this is just fine. The beds were beds and the room was a room. The only problem we had was the top bunk had dirt marks on the sheet and most of the blankets had holes in them. Otherwise fine.
Budget accommodation. Smallish room, tiny bathroom. Cleanliness so la la, our son was sleeping in the upper bunkbed and discovered lots of dust. Despite being located in an industrial neighborhood they charge 5 Euros per night for parking, which is a bit petty.
Near motorway, clean, small rooms, adequate for a one night stay, no more free parking though.
Family friendly
We have two kids and it was a perfect size for us. The bunk bed is comfortable as well as our bed. The water is warm as soon as you turn it on. The breakfast is surcharge but it was all worth it. My favorite part is the unlimited coffee and the cheese 😋. Friendly staffs.

Good hotel for the price. Conveniently located just a 5–6 minute walk from Mainz Hbf. Rooms are spacious and clean, including the bathroom. Staffs are friendly too.
I recommend trying their breakfast buffet—it’s a nice option.
Note for the owner: Please ensure the breakfast items are monitored regularly. On one occasion, I noticed hairs on a cold cut platter.
We were traveling for business, and the events were very close to the hotel. Everything was perfect for us, and the value for money was excellent.
The hotel was well specified and offered good value for money. The reception staff were very helpful and the booking process was flawless. As a small group of 4 friends (2 couples) travelling down from Brussels by train and stopping for a few nights in Mainz, the hotel served our purpose very well. Google maps did not show the tunnel under the railway line that was the shortest route from the hauptbahnhof...
My mom lives only a short walk away from the hotel and this was the perfect location. A short walk from the train station. The staff was always friendly and willing to answer any questions. Breakfast was delicious. The mattress was way more than comfortable. Our stay was amazing. The room was always spotless. I would come back any time.
Very friendly staff, we had a problem with a broken toilet so we got upgraded straight away to a better room.
Location is also perfect, walkable to city center.
There is also no sound from the trains/traffic hearable in the rooms.
Good price for nice clean room.
We didn't have breakfast here, in the city there are better options.
Best price/quality ratio, everything you need for a short stay is here.
Super friendly stuff! Service is very important, very. English speaking.
