Nice clean room, beautiful view of the river Moselle. Excellent restaurant and good quality breakfast. Welcoming staff, would certainly return.

Stopped to have a quick bite. Good location next to the river, nice views of the mountains. Enough parking. Service fast. Never seen a soup so small, had a goulash, basically the size of a medium coffee and too expensive for what you get, was tasty though. Apfelstrudel similar, barely enough on your plate to make a dent.

On our way back to uk after a month long tour to Croatia and lots of places in between, eaten out every other night and had some superb food but this was the meal of the trip. Actually quite a few meals that me and my wife fancied, I opted for the Venison with potato dumplings, red cabbage, pear, cranberry and gravy. The wife had 3 pork medallions with croquettes , pepper sauce and excellent side salad...

I've only eaten an apple pie (delicious), but I could see the service was very fast. It was full of people and most of them had reservation so I'm guessing this must be very popular place. It has a nice view at the river.

The food was delicious, the view of the River Mosel was brilliant, excellent staff, lovely atmosphere

Again just like it was 3 and 6 years ago when we stayed there. Only passing through this time.Great menu ,good food and nice staff.

A charming hotel, about twenty minutes drive from Trier centre. A tiny room, but adequate, clean, helpful proprietor. Nice breakfast. However, don't arrive before 3:00 pm in the afternoon. Free parking by the side of the road opposite.

This is for the restaurant. We were driving through looking for someplace to eat and decided to give it a try. It was decorated in traditional German decor. Alte is unfortunately one of the keywords to this place. The room was a bit dark and the layout is not very practical with lots of steps and the room being much deeper than it's wide The location is on the wrong bank to get to other restaurants and sites. It's easy to get to from the freeway, but parking is horrible (there's space but it's bumpy and across a busy street)

We were our first guest today and were very satisfied. You are served attentively and unobtrusively at the same time. Food was great. Very nice boss. We will be back.

The staff welcomed us very nicely. The hotel is very lovingly and modernly furnished, the suite is very nicely decorated, you feel at home. Very quiet location, you can only recommend it!

Location is excellent. Not in the centre of Trier, but with the train 6 minutes and with the bus about 25 minutes. The public TRANSPORT goes by, no disturbance in the rooms. Modern rooms, very old. Excellent breakfast, friendly staff.

Very cosy, neat and clean hotel. They serve a very good breakfast buffet. It is a stone's throw from the station, parking is good and close to Trier. In what aftanse location, in the industrial terrain of Trier. But that should not spoil the fun. Good, personal and friendly service!

We stayed here to go christmas shopping in the area and have no comments. Not overly luxurious but clean hotel, friendly staff, sufficient parking, and internet that works - to spend the night and have breakfast for us!

We asked if we could get the money back, he said only one room (we had booked 2 rooms for our extended family) could be reimbursed. The hotel is from a well-known chain and is located far from the city center and the bus stop. There's a large, inexpensive supermarket nearby called Rewe.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Train station in sight, but a long roundabout walk to reach it.

Reasonably priced and breakfast was good. Warm welcome by reception guy when I arrived and he helped with my checking in. Hotel would have been better placed on opposite side of train station for easier access to Trier City centre, but walk is not far. Disturbed sleep a few times from noisy hotel guests slamming or knocking on doors. Not a fan of the key code entry system!

Very easy check in and check out process. The staff are all very nice and helpful.

We had a great, quiet room on the third floor. Enough space for the four of us, good shower, no noise from neighbours and/or outside. A little walk away from the center, very enjoyable

Walls are thin, and you can hear your neighbors but to be expected in old historic buildings. No a/c but a small fan in the room does the job but is noisy. The staff was extremely kind and receptive. I liked this hotel. Only rooms are so small. But I will use again.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, but there is no refrigerator in a room and short of parking lot.

There are parking spaces on the main road. There are McDonald's and supermarkets along the main road near the river. It takes about 2-30 minutes to walk to the city. The old city is not big. There is Marx's former residence.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the city center but quiet. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with modern and simple decoration, and first-class service. The hotel facilities are complete, and the gym and swimming pool are unforgettable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The room is cleaned once every 3 days and the used towels are then removed, so a large pile of dirty laundry on the floor, not a pleasant sight. no ventilation in the room, window can be set to a ventilation position, but if the room is at the front (street side), the noise of the traffic from the busy street is TOO TOO, the window must remain closed but there is no fresh air fine. Great use of space in the hotel rooms. Amazing location. Walk to everything. Even a full size grocery store next door. Safe cheap parking. We speak French German and English and Some Staff didn't even speak German. No A/C as expected but rooms were incredibly hot at night. Lots of road noise if you left windows open.

The hotel is very close to Trier's attractions, with a 'black something' landmark right outside (can't remember the name). There's also a Chinese restaurant across the street with Chinese girls working there. After all, it's Marx's hometown, and I ran into several groups of Chinese tourists.

Location is amazing, just across the road is Porta Nigra, on the left is the supermarket, bars and shopping street. The room is clean, towels and linen are white and shiny. There’s some mold in the bathroom, and the bed itself wasn’t comfortable. In general, it was a nice experience! I’d recommend for solo and couples as well!

Almost everything was great! Super central location, cozy hotel, and the room had a bathtub. We really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back.

Nice area close to city centre. Parking nearby in multi-storey very convenient but expensive. No reception but clear instructions for entry to property. Truer is a very nice city well worth a longer visit.

The internet was iffy and slow.

Owner speaks perfect Dutch. Property is "dated" but easy parking in front of the door (if you're lucky). Close to the centrum. Easy check-in. Perfect for the price

This tiny and clean hotel was situated only 5 minutes walk from the walking center. We got room from third floor (no lift), which means we have to carry our suitcases up narrow stairs. The room was quite small. The bed was located just in the corner. Shower was also quite small at least for grownups. Staff was friendly and hospitality. Breakfast was normal hotel breakfast.

Everyone is super nice and I would certainly stay here again. The rooms are large and spacious and I really feel at home. It's a little odd that you can't decide in the morning if you want breakfast. You have to decide at least 1 day in advance for good reason but when I don't know if I'll have time until the day of it stinks that I can't come downstairs and eat.

Charming hotel, it's within easy walking distance to all the city's main attractions. Plus, the breakfast, at only five Euros per person, is great! I would definitely stay here again.

Room was very large and comfortable for European standards. Breakfast buffet was outstanding! Staff were courteous.

Location is within the city centre. Provide unlimited coffee and tea all day at the lobby area.

You get what you pay for. Hardware ok, Software ok, Training and QM need some improvement.

Good location, but the room was really small with no closet space. There was only one towel provided for a double room, my husband had to to get dressed to go to the front desk to ask for another towel.

Room was very clean and spacious, shower was great and bathroom was nice size. Property felt and looked newly renovated. Breakfast food was not very good, bakery was the best thing going and we’re not big on bakery for breakfast. Coffee machine was great, and tea selection very good. The room was way too hot, and the HVAC did not seem to work very well. Hard to sleep well in a hot room! The cleaning...

Great staff, very accommodating and helpful! Close to so many wonderful sites. Clean and very comfortable with great breakfast!

Hotel Aulmann

Very nice front desk staff gave restaurant recommendations and advice on transport. Updated bathroom was a pleasant surprise. It’s a bit of a walk on cobblestone paths if you arrive by bus or train, so keep that in mind when travelling with a heavy suitcase or multiple bags. Some rooms are accessed via a small flight of stairs and have windows that open out to a noisy alley.

Good hotel in a good location. There’s nothing too negative to write about the hotel. Garage is a bit tight but the rest is fine.

Got a room facing a side street with a bar with very noisy clientele. Managed to change room and when doing that the staff tells me that they have a lot of complaints for that room due to noise from the bar… Key code panel to open door, not very user friendly.

A great surprise I was rather surprised at how great this hotel is. It was in an unsuspecting area that was very close to the main plaza in Trier. The best part was the comfortable rooms equipped with air conditioning. I had the best night's rest in a long time.

It's ok if you are staying one night and just need a place to sleep. Good location. parking is a nightmare

Building conveniently located in the middle of the city, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. We’d love to come back.
