A fine hotel in wonderful rural suroundings. We stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast was excellent as well as evening lunch.
A very nice place to visit the Harz mountains or beautiful old towns like Quedlinburg, Wernigerode or Goslar.

Arrived at 10.30pm after a day of visiting clients and a long drive from Dusseldorf where we got held up in a lot of traffic to find out the hotel was closed no one was there and now stuck with nowhere to go. I hadnt noticed that in the small print it states check in closes at 10pm a detail I think should be highlighted not hidden in small details.
Extremely disappointed no one tried to ring or message from the hotel to see if we were arriving. I accept we were late but would have been better for someone to contact us as we were only just after the cut off. They could have left the keys out for us but no they just locked up and left us stranded

If you book the upgraded room #9 with big bath and lounge area, that room really is special and feels like you’re in an old castle.

Very nice estate hotel. Set in an old estate house that is almost like a castle. Very remote and quiet area. Hotel hav nice uniaque rooms, and a great restaurant.

Absolutely worth a visit. Authentic villa with all the olde flair. Perfect location for bicycle enthousiastes.

The places really felt authentic. The rooms gave you that castle feeling and breakfast was really nice. The spa area is surprisingly nice and the nearby pond really complimented the experience. Would absolutely recommend!!
