Hotel with nice view to Elbe My stay was nice without any problem. Hotel is located a bit far from evening attraction but provides ferry tickets for each day in order to get to the other side of Elba river and Bad Schandau.

Boat over the Elbe connects hotel to center of Bad Schandau and start of hiking routes to natural park Sächsischer Schweitz. Good breakfast, OK restaurant and another option for dinner nearby. Clean rooms, nice staff.

Perfect spot Big property with lots of little courtyards to sit privately, outside areas with very comfortable armchairs, beautiful terrace for lunch and dinner. Just 3 min walk to the Elbe park with playground, stop for boats and ferries, 2 min walk to the bus, 8 min to the train… the perfect spot to explore the Saxony Switzerland area by foot, bike…

It is a good location for hiking and traveling around the Saxon Switzerland National Park (Königstein, Bastai). It is not directly connected to the famous tourist attractions, but I moved by S Bahn. The interval between buses is long, but it was still comfortable to move. I arrived before 20:00 because they said that check-in was not possible very late, and breakfast was served until 10:00, so I had...

Very disappointed with people at reception we tried to call many times during morning and nobody picked the phone. When we get there the gentleman at the reception looked like he is not even from the hotel and the reception smelled like an ashtray. The receptionist hasn't been helpful at all and was a bit rude. The hotel looked nice and cozy, but we won't be coming back.

No elevator, had to carry my luggage to the 2nd floor. Could not open the window during night due to nearby railway line. Good breakfast choice, Bit breakfast only available as from 97:30hrs.

A beautiful, high-quality holiday apartment where you can truly relax, especially in bad weather. A stunningly landscaped garden is a treat for mind and soul. We felt very comfortable here; the hostess contributed greatly to this, and the morning bread delivery service was a real bonus 👍😊🙋

The property is immaculately maintained, comfortable, airy and spacious and has everything you would need away from home.

Very pleasant and cozy. Nice breakfast in a bright and sunny dining room. Staff members are attentive and very pleasant.

We just passed for a coffee. The waitress was very friendly and the price for a can was very reasonable!

The most lovely hotel to spend your holiday Bad Schandau / Gohrisch area. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and dinner was delicious. The room was very comfortable for a family of 5, very clean and modern rooms. We will definitely have to go back!

We had our boxing day lunch here. Superb food and service. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated.

Typical german regional hotel with big rooms, great sevice and nice views

Nice place that gave us a pleasant surprise during our hike of the Malerweg. They have a very nice Spa area with IR, finish, steam and normal saunas. The room was big enough to hold 2 people and luggage comfortably and even had a small balcony for two. Wifi was mostly ok. Breakfast buffet was typical German (bread, rolls, sausages, eggs, spreads) but quite good. We also had dinner the evening of arrival...

Friendly owners; unique location, but also directly on a somewhat noisy roundabout; the single room has a bed, a sofa, a small table with chairs, and a desk.

A lovely place, not central (about 20 mins from Bad Schandau) but close enough for day trips. Good price, great dinner menu - we ate there every night!

Hotel is right on an intersection so quite noisy The innkeepers were nice. Food was good but everything had to be salted. Otherwise it was O.K.

Clean, very friendly and helpful staff

Cosy hotel, very clean rooms and bathroom. Free parking at the door. Welcoming staff and owners. 5stars at this price. Recommended to anyone visiting the area.

Always good. Classic Namibia - German cuisine. Not cheap but really good. Recommended. Class Service and incredibly helpful. Absolute recommendation in Sebnitz.

A historical hotel very charmful. The room we had on the Elb was very nice, large and well fitted and the view is so resting. The restaurant is good, not expensive for the place and the dinner on the terrace is magical.

Great Spa. Watch out though, it appears to be closed on Sundays. Decent breakfast, rooms were clean. Right opposite the historic elevator which is a great place to take in the golden hour with a nice beverage 🥂

Nice hotel in a perfect environment for a hiking vacation with a confortable stay (+sauna!). The staff was nice and accomodating.

We attended the Christmas night ballroom dance and had a lovely time. The ballroom is beautiful and has a really nice floor. The music was good. We discovered dance by chance and went because we were staying nearby. We will be going back next Christmas. Update we have been coming every year for the dance except during covid.

food was average but I give 4 stars mainly because of waiters which were generally quite nice and normal. I found it to be an exception in the area of Sachsische Schweiz
