3 star hotels in Bad Schandau

Hotel with nice view to Elbe My stay was nice without any problem. Hotel is located a bit far from evening attraction but provides ferry tickets for each day in order to get to the other side of Elba river and Bad Schandau.

Boat over the Elbe connects hotel to center of Bad Schandau and start of hiking routes to natural park Sächsischer Schweitz. Good breakfast, OK restaurant and another option for dinner nearby. Clean rooms, nice staff.

It is a good location for hiking and traveling around the Saxon Switzerland National Park (Königstein, Bastai). It is not directly connected to the famous tourist attractions, but I moved by S Bahn. The interval between buses is long, but it was still comfortable to move. No elevator, had to carry my luggage to the 2nd floor. Could not open the window during night due to nearby railway line. Good breakfast choice, Bit breakfast only available as from 97:30hrs.

I was in the restaurant for dinner, unannounced and very pleasantly surprised. The customer service was excellent and the menu varied with a regional accent. There is something for every taste. The price-performance ratio is reasonable and the restaurant is recommended.

The property is immaculately maintained, comfortable, airy and spacious and has everything you would need away from home.

Typical german regional hotel with big rooms, great sevice and nice views

Nice place that gave us a pleasant surprise during our hike of the Malerweg. They have a very nice Spa area with IR, finish, steam and normal saunas. The room was big enough to hold 2 people and luggage comfortably and even had a small balcony for two. Wifi was mostly ok. Breakfast buffet was typical German (bread, rolls, sausages, eggs, spreads) but quite good. We also had dinner the evening of arrival...

A lovely place, not central (about 20 mins from Bad Schandau) but close enough for day trips. Good price, great dinner menu - we ate there every night!

Hotel is right on an intersection so quite noisy The innkeepers were nice. Food was good but everything had to be salted. Otherwise it was O.K.

Good food, fast friendly Service. Everything is in order. Can you recommend a quiet, who wants to go in Sebnitz eat well.

Great Spa. Watch out though, it appears to be closed on Sundays. Decent breakfast, rooms were clean. Right opposite the historic elevator which is a great place to take in the golden hour with a nice beverage 🥂

Nice hotel in a perfect environment for a hiking vacation with a confortable stay (+sauna!). The staff was nice and accomodating.

We attended the Christmas night ballroom dance and had a lovely time. The ballroom is beautiful and has a really nice floor. The music was good. We discovered dance by chance and went because we were staying nearby. We will be going back next Christmas. Update we have been coming every year for the dance except during covid.

food was average but I give 4 stars mainly because of waiters which were generally quite nice and normal. I found it to be an exception in the area of Sachsische Schweiz
