Parkhotel Bad Schandau - Direkt an der Elbe

Saxony, Bad Schandau, Rudolf-Sendig-Strasse 12, 01814 Bad-Shandau, Germaniya 🧭

A historical hotel very charmful. The room we had on the Elb was very nice, large and well fitted and the view is so resting. The restaurant is good, not expensive for the place and the dinner on the terrace is magical.

Great Spa. Watch out though, it appears to be closed on Sundays. Decent breakfast, rooms were clean. Right opposite the historic elevator which is a great place to take in the golden hour with a nice beverage 🥂

The service, a location, rooms, and a restaurant - all 5 STARS 🌟

Nice hotel in a perfect environment for a hiking vacation with a confortable stay (+sauna!). The staff was nice and accomodating.

We attended the Christmas night ballroom dance and had a lovely time. The ballroom is beautiful and has a really nice floor. The music was good. We discovered dance by chance and went because we were staying nearby. We will be going back next Christmas. Update we have been coming every year for the dance except during covid.

food was average but I give 4 stars mainly because of waiters which were generally quite nice and normal. I found it to be an exception in the area of Sachsische Schweiz

Hotel Erbgericht Krippen

Saxony, Bad Schandau, Bächelweg 4 🧭

Hotel with nice view to Elbe My stay was nice without any problem. Hotel is located a bit far from evening attraction but provides ferry tickets for each day in order to get to the other side of Elba river and Bad Schandau.

Boat over the Elbe connects hotel to center of Bad Schandau and start of hiking routes to natural park Sächsischer Schweitz. Good breakfast, OK restaurant and another option for dinner nearby. Clean rooms, nice staff.

Perfect spot Big property with lots of little courtyards to sit privately, outside areas with very comfortable armchairs, beautiful terrace for lunch and dinner. Just 3 min walk to the Elbe park with playground, stop for boats and ferries, 2 min walk to the bus, 8 min to the train… the perfect spot to explore the Saxony Switzerland area by foot, bike…

It is a good location for hiking and traveling around the Saxon Switzerland National Park (Königstein, Bastai). It is not directly connected to the famous tourist attractions, but I moved by S Bahn. The interval between buses is long, but it was still comfortable to move. I arrived before 20:00 because they said that check-in was not possible very late, and breakfast was served until 10:00, so I had...

Very disappointed with people at reception we tried to call many times during morning and nobody picked the phone. When we get there the gentleman at the reception looked like he is not even from the hotel and the reception smelled like an ashtray. The receptionist hasn't been helpful at all and was a bit rude. The hotel looked nice and cozy, but we won't be coming back.

No elevator, had to carry my luggage to the 2nd floor. Could not open the window during night due to nearby railway line. Good breakfast choice, Bit breakfast only available as from 97:30hrs.

Hotel Pension Waldhäusl

Saxony, Bad Schandau, Kirnitzschtalstr. 89, 01814 Bad Schandau, Germany 🧭

Beautiful house with a lovely garden in a fantastic setting. Numerous hiking trails lead directly into the national park, and restaurants are just around the corner. Bad Schandau is a half-hour walk away, and the Kirnitzschtalbahn cable car stop is just fifteen minutes away. The hikes to the Schrammsteine, the Kuhstall with the Himmelsleiter, and the Idagrotte are highly recommended 🤩. Karola is a...

This was our second stay at Haus Karola in Apartment II. Once again, we were delighted with the clean, lovingly furnished and decorated apartment, as well as the beautiful garden. The view from the large balcony was simply wonderful. Karola and her husband Jens are very friendly and helpful, always available to answer questions. Fresh bread rolls are delivered to our door very early in the morning...

A beautiful place to stay; the garden and the view from it are simply lovely. It's a great place to relax after a hike. You can start your hikes right from the house. The apartment is very nicely and comfortably furnished; you immediately feel at home. The kitchen has everything you need. Everything is very clean and tidy. Karola was incredibly friendly and helpful; I would love to go back and spend...

A beautiful, high-quality holiday apartment where you can truly relax, especially in bad weather. A stunningly landscaped garden is a treat for mind and soul. We felt very comfortable here; the hostess contributed greatly to this, and the morning bread delivery service was a real bonus 👍😊🙋

The property is immaculately maintained, comfortable, airy and spacious and has everything you would need away from home.

It is always nice to discover something.

Very pleasant and cozy. Nice breakfast in a bright and sunny dining room. Staff members are attentive and very pleasant.

We just passed for a coffee. The waitress was very friendly and the price for a can was very reasonable!

The most lovely hotel to spend your holiday Bad Schandau / Gohrisch area. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and dinner was delicious. The room was very comfortable for a family of 5, very clean and modern rooms. We will definitely have to go back!

We had our boxing day lunch here. Superb food and service. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated.

Typical german regional hotel with big rooms, great sevice and nice views

Nice place that gave us a pleasant surprise during our hike of the Malerweg. They have a very nice Spa area with IR, finish, steam and normal saunas. The room was big enough to hold 2 people and luggage comfortably and even had a small balcony for two. Wifi was mostly ok. Breakfast buffet was typical German (bread, rolls, sausages, eggs, spreads) but quite good. We also had dinner the evening of arrival...

PanoramaHotel Lilienstein

Saxony, Gohrisch, Ebenheit 7 🧭

Overpriced hikers hostel claiming to be a hotel. There was one fixed menu of 1 soup 1 main with meat and desert. I asked if I could have just the soup and some chips - NO- not possible to deviate. No other restaurants around and even the nearest was closed on a Monday. Really lovely Czech mother and daughter serving the beer was a positive . Room was small and in need of updating - lovely garden -...

We came down this way from Lilienstein. After the Hike up and than back down we needed a Beer and some Food. We decided to have the Potato Soup. It was very good. The Beer was cold and we where able to sit outside and enjoy our break. Very interesting History and how this family revitilized this place. Worth a visit if you are in the area and need to take a break.

Stopped for lunch with the family in the hotel - so can’t comment on the hotel rooms. However, the location is amazing: quiet, great views, just super relaxing. The owners are super nice and welcoming, service was great, and the food was very tasty as well. Do watch out for their opening hours as unfortunately they don’t have enough guests to always be open :/ if you’re a bigger group however, let...

Absolutely beautiful location and a very nice garden. The room had a strong almost sickening perfumed smell when we arrived otherwise no complaints.

The staff was so so lovely. The rooms were a bit small (especially the bathrooms) but it isn't a problem if you go and adventure a lot. The view from the garden is really beautiful!

A bit overpriced for what it's worth but the panorama is indeed lovely. The climb up from the ferry is absolute murder, avoid if possible.

Hotel Brückenschänke

Saxony, Sebnitz, Schandauer Str.62, 01855 Sebnitz, Germany 🧭

Friendly owners; unique location, but also directly on a somewhat noisy roundabout; the single room has a bed, a sofa, a small table with chairs, and a desk.

A lovely place, not central (about 20 mins from Bad Schandau) but close enough for day trips. Good price, great dinner menu - we ate there every night!

Hotel is right on an intersection so quite noisy The innkeepers were nice. Food was good but everything had to be salted. Otherwise it was O.K.

Clean, very friendly and helpful staff

Cosy hotel, very clean rooms and bathroom. Free parking at the door. Welcoming staff and owners. 5stars at this price. Recommended to anyone visiting the area.

Always good. Classic Namibia - German cuisine. Not cheap but really good. Recommended. Class Service and incredibly helpful. Absolute recommendation in Sebnitz.

Hotel Elbparadies

Saxony, Pirna, Oberposta 2 🧭

The hotel is easy to find with ample free parking and has great views of the river. The staff speak good English and are very welcoming. The rooms are large, comfortable and very quiet and we had a lovely river view. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices.

It was an amazing place with a great view to the town. Clean rooms (except a carpet), available tea and coffee, a hair drayer, a fridge. We got free tickets for a ferry like a present. The only disadvantage was that the hotel was further away from the center. Very nice staff at the hotel❤️

Stayed for one night because my husband had a business meeting in Pirna. March is clearly off season - a great time to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Elbe River in peace and quiet. Our room was spacious and clean, with that gorgeous view and a huge balcony. The bathroom had enough room to keep our toiletries in there. I really appreciated the extra magnifying mirror and ampel towels. Dinner in the...

Laurichhof

Saxony, Pirna, Hauptplatz 4 🧭

Hotel Laurichhof is hands down the best hotel in all of Germany. I have been traveling to Germany for decades, and while Germany has many great hotels, nothing comes close to this gem. It is a design hotel and it shows — every suite is a different, wonderful surprise, and both the outdoor and indoor areas have many wonderful, quirky design elements. And the true star of the show is the wonderful staff...

Such a cool and comforting place to stay. The bed is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Very recommended!

Wonderful hotel with superb front desk service. The rooms on the website are fully accurate. This is a design hotel with rooms reflecting various tastes and layouts that is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed for two nights in the Marrakech Room. The balcony is a wrap-around and huge with separation from mother rooms. Parking in the garage has large spaces with pay-for electric chargers. You...

Very nice new modern hotel. Great room and location !!

This was just great. I was weary while booking this due to the price. But the hotel and its staff delivered and then some. The staff is incredibly friendly. The suite we had was spacious and gorgeous. The breakfast was delicious and they will make your coffee and any egg dish (on the menu) should you whish it. We also paid extra for two hours of the sauna which they will book just for you (well worth...

Very quirky hotel! Every room has a different theme and it certainly is "different", in a very curious and quirky way. The beds were comfortable, just wish the window would have been bigger in the bedroom for fresh air. Lots of buttons for lighting that are not quite obvious but in return a very spacious bathroom with a great shower! Had breakfast there twice. Smaller buffets but sufficient. We...

Hotel Zur Post

Saxony, Pirna, Liebstadter Str. 30, 01796 Pirna, Germaniya 🧭

Nice hotel Good location near Dresden Very good restaurant on site Parking and pool Very quiet place Very comfort rooms Nice staff

I really like this place. They are very friendly and kind, I recommend for a pleasant stay.

Good located Hotel, with good breakfast. During my stay, in the hotel was lot of guests, and parking was after 18:00 almost impossible. When I arrived in the room was so cold, the heaters could heat up the room only on next day. In shower I had hot water, but at sink I had only cold water. For these two reasons I rate with 4 stars.

The hotel is very old, however the audience in the hotel is quite senior, so it is probably a match. Reception is very slow. To check out it takes forever. The restaurant is not recommended to visit. Food is simply bad. Every dish we ordered we could not finish as it was a weird combination of tastes that doesn’t go together. Like camembert cheese with a pineapple and pumpkin…

Superb Hotel with high quality restaurant. Just back from a weekend in Pirna visiting family and we stayed at the hotel. Check in was quick and no problems. The Restaurant was full and I would advise to book your table. The menu was only available in German, however not a problem the staff helped and we enjoyed a Superb meal, typical high quality. Didn't get an opportunity to try the Spar, how it did...

Hotel Sächsischer Hof

Saxony, Pirna, Gartenstrasse 21, 01796 Pirna, Germaniya 🧭

I've stayed here frequently for work. I've spent about five weeks here now. Check-in is until 8:30 pm. If you provide a phone number when booking, you'll receive a call if you haven't arrived by 8 pm. If you arrive late, you can get your room key from a machine outside the hotel parking lot by entering a code sent via email, so check-in is possible even very late. The rooms are cleaned on Wednesdays...

Overall the hotel is really nice. The room was a bit old and smelly, also a bit dark. On the other hand, breakfast was really nice: nice variety, good tea, very cosy breakfast area, good service. Also I can mention small parking: it is rather small, and if you come late you might need to look for the place in the city.

Nice and clean hotel, excellent service, it is quiet and far from the noise despite its proximity to the train station.

The cleanliness of the rooms and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff are definitely worth more than 5 stars! Very fast and stable WiFi, a very balanced buffet for breakfast (with very good coffee) and of course a great location. The price is also very reasonable for the "luxury" that you get for the relatively low price.

Very nice staff. Nice room. But noise from trains and cars

Good location just by the station, clean rooms and friendly service.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! Beautiful, clean, and spacious rooms! Loved the welcome drink in my room! Just a beautiful hotel and location! Will absolutely be staying again!!!

Nice hotel. Especially for cozy weekends

They accomodated early check in. Room was clean and modern.

Nice place to stay quiet area but nice

A very romantic hotel.. All the employees were very kind. The rooms are spacious, clean. You get a key like from the Middle Ages, to really feel like you are in a castle. The breakfast is excellent. The surroundings with the gardens are beautiful. We really enjoyed it.

Sitting at an outdoor table enjoying the view and excellent food and wine, what’s not to like? The Saxon Game Plate is superb and the Tarte Tatin magnificent. Very good and attentive service make a meal here a memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Older style Pension(Hotel?) Kind od tired looking. The Restaurant however has wonderful food and service

Our GPS got confused with the address provided by ******* which resulted in unnecessary driving as actual address is in small hamlet near the main town of Radeberg. However once settled our stay was good with the food served at this Restaurant absolutely excellent

Mediocre room, but breakfast with large variety Müllers Gasthof is easily reachable and close to where our relatives live. It features a wonderful breakfast with great variety. However, the room didn't smell fresh, and the beds were not very comfortable. There wasn't really a room service and no sign that one could request one. Very good hotel on our way from Balaton, Hungary to Travemünde where our ferry leaves to Finland. Great service and they even spoke Englis well 🙏 If you have older dogs wth some leg problems, then the stairs to accommodation facilities might be too much. We had a wonderful time! Quiet, modern, and comfortable apartments with everything you need. There was even a wooden train set for children. Parking was right in front of the building. We highly recommend this accommodation.

We booked the accommodation for a long weekend. The apartment is very comfortably furnished and has everything you need. We were also able to barbecue there; after contacting the owner, we knew where the grill was located. It's a lovely, quiet spot, perfect for dogs to run around in, as the forest is right outside the door. We will definitely remember this accommodation and recommend it to others...

Apartment is in amazing nature. It is very close to tram 11 which takes you on all top locations in Dresden. Apartment is very clean with everything you need. Neighborhood is beautiful.

Small, initial problems on arrival were resolved immediately to our complete satisfaction. We stayed in Suite 5 and felt very comfortable there (spacious, chic and everything necessary available). The location of the apartment is perfect - quiet, pleasant forest air and everything important nearby. It's a shame that we couldn't use the pretty terrace for breakfast (due to the time of year).

Andante Hotel Dresden Hotel

Saxony, Dresden, Huelssestrasse, 1 🧭

Although the hotel felt old overall, it wasn't a problem for a one-night stay. There was dust and mold on the windowsill, so I wish they'd cleaned it more thoroughly. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, but the restaurant staff at the hotel where I had dinner were rude and the food was subpar.

The Hotel is situated outside the city centre but perfectly connected to public transport. It feels safe and is very clean. Staff are friendly. Downsides for us: bathtub/shower very slippery, shower curtain sticks to everything and the water temperature fluctuates. Would still recommend and we will be back.

There's paid parking behind a barrier, and free street parking is available nearby. A kettle is available in the room. Reception is open until late. It's a convenient option for travelers with a car. It's not very close to the center, but there's a public transportation stop nearby. There are also places to dine nearby, including an Aldi.

I stayed at this hotel recently for two nights as part of a tour with Leger. The hotel is perfectly fine, it kind of fits with the vibe of Dresden - somewhat relaxed and laid back. Excellently located if you want to combine visits to the surroundings of Dresden, or visit places in the city itself. Large convenient rooms, decent breakfast, excellent price / quality match. Highly recommended for a convenient stay for a very reasonable price!

Charming hotel not far from city center! Great customer service, rooms are spacious and clean. In 2023 august parking was still under construction so make sure to keep that in mind, we found overnight parking across the street for 7 eu a night at convenience store parking lot 😊 Pictured view out of our room window!

The hotel is good located next to a park, shoppingcenter and public transport. It's clean and cozy and the bed was good. The stay was good but parking is difficult. The girl as staff was very kind in the morning.

Great location, beautiful building, nice and clean interior and the bed was good. The stay was good but parking is difficult. The girl as staff was very kind in the morning! I recoment this hotel for every body who wants to visit this area.

Small and simple room with renovated bathroom. Perfect location if you travel by car and are in the city all day. Late check in is super easy; there is a small safe outside with your key inside.

Modern rooms, one point deducted for a non-stocked (yet turned on?) minibar, presence of a water boiler without any tea or coffee. Pillows are enormous, yet super soft. Beds were comfy. Location is good with free parking around the premises and direct tram connection. Breakfast was decent, but don't expect to be blown away. All in all a pretty good deal. 4 out of 5.

I booked this hotel for my family trip to Dresden. It was far from the center of Dresden, so it would be difficult to get there by bus. If you have a car, it's cheap, clean, and recommended.

Great breakfast! Clean room. A bit far from Dresden, but easy and convenient to reach from the highway.

The hotel is very clean and the staff super friendly. The twin beds on the other hand is pretty narrow and my son actually fell off a couple of times during the night waking me up in a fright lol.

Very relaxing place. Close to Dresden, too. The bus takes 15min and leaves every 10min. They have a gym, wonderful breakfasts, and you can bring your dog (10euro surcharge). If you are lucky, you can get a room facing Dresden and watch lovely city lights at night

Aparthotel Villa Freisleben

Saxony, Dresden, Loschwitzer Straße 19 🧭

Our room was very clean and spacious. There was public transport near. However we enjoyed the 10 minute walks to the local shops for meals.

We traveled with a group of 5 friends to Dresden to meet our german friends and celebrate their birthdays. Our stay at Aparthotel Freisleben made this an excellent experience.

Nice stay! Dey good Location. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Tram station is very close by.

excellent accomodation, happy to come back. very friendly and helpful staff. lovely breakfast terrace. easy tram connection to city centre and 15 min walk to beergarden at river Elbe

Enjoyed a 4 night stay here at the end of August. Great location in a lovely neighbourhood, perfect base to explore a great City and the surrounding area. We had a large room with a kitchenette but preferred to have the hotel buffet breakfast sat on the terrace. Really nice and helpful Hotel staff, just a shame our German language wasn’t up to scratch. Tram stop right outside the front gate with a...

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is located in a peaceful neighbourhood close to the river Elbe and the bike trail, but at the same time not far away from the shopping area. The bulding itself is impressively reconstructed, you can feel its historic spirit. The room we stayed in was cozy and clean. The staff was amicable and helpful. Overall we recommend this hotel and would definitely come...

Hotel & Restaurant Klosterhof

Saxony, Dresden, Altleubnitz 12 🧭

The restaurant is highly recommended. A cozy atmosphere. Excellent menu selection. We dined there twice and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed here on our bike tour and felt very comfortable! It's a great hotel, friendly, everyone is really committed and helpful, with excellent service and a friendly atmosphere! The food and, of course, the beer were delicious; we enjoyed everything. We'd be happy to come back!

satisfied! super cozy place, there were 4 of us but the "children" beds were not the best, but they did their job, nice room anyway, spacious and cozy restaurant and good breakfast

Dream of Dresden I hadn't heard of this hotel before. But it's simply a dream. You feel at home from the moment you arrive until you leave. Everyone here is incredibly friendly. I felt like a family guest and would happily return.

Very pleasant little hotel, clean and tidy rooms with nice little touches like flip-flops, hygiene and toothbrush sets as well as a Smart TV

Quaint and comfy hotel in a quiet neighborhood outside of Dresden city. Rooms are nice, the bed is super comfy, and breakfast was great as well. The staff was also very friendly. If you can get the very top room there's a great sunset and sunrise view.
