Hotel with nice view to Elbe My stay was nice without any problem. Hotel is located a bit far from evening attraction but provides ferry tickets for each day in order to get to the other side of Elba river and Bad Schandau.

Boat over the Elbe connects hotel to center of Bad Schandau and start of hiking routes to natural park Sächsischer Schweitz. Good breakfast, OK restaurant and another option for dinner nearby. Clean rooms, nice staff.

It is a good location for hiking and traveling around the Saxon Switzerland National Park (Königstein, Bastai). It is not directly connected to the famous tourist attractions, but I moved by S Bahn. Very disappointed with people at reception we tried to call many times during morning and nobody picked the phone. When we get there the gentleman at the reception looked like he is not even from the hotel and the reception smelled like an ashtray. The receptionist hasn't been helpful at all and was a bit rude. The hotel looked nice and cozy, but we won't be coming back.

No elevator, had to carry my luggage to the 2nd floor. Could not open the window during night due to nearby railway line. Good breakfast choice, Bit breakfast only available as from 97:30hrs.

A historical hotel very charmful. The room we had on the Elb was very nice, large and well fitted and the view is so resting. The restaurant is good, not expensive for the place and the dinner on the terrace is magical.

Nice hotel in a perfect environment for a hiking vacation with a confortable stay (+sauna!). The staff was nice and accomodating.

We attended the Christmas night ballroom dance and had a lovely time. The ballroom is beautiful and has a really nice floor. The music was good. We discovered dance by chance and went because we were staying nearby. We will be going back next Christmas. Update we have been coming every year for the dance except during covid.

food was average but I give 4 stars mainly because of waiters which were generally quite nice and normal. I found it to be an exception in the area of Sachsische Schweiz

We came down this way from Lilienstein. After the Hike up and than back down we needed a Beer and some Food. We decided to have the Potato Soup. It was very good. The Beer was cold and we where able to sit outside and enjoy our break. Very interesting History and how this family revitilized this place. Good located Hotel, with good breakfast. During my stay, in the hotel was lot of guests, and parking was after 18:00 almost impossible. When I arrived in the room was so cold, the heaters could heat up the room only on next day. In shower I had hot water, but at sink I had only cold water. For these two reasons I rate with 4 stars.

Great Hotel, I'll definitely recommend this hotel.

I've stayed here frequently for work. I've spent about five weeks here now. Check-in is until 8:30 pm. If you provide a phone number when booking, you'll receive a call if you haven't arrived by 8 pm. If you arrive late, you can get your room key from a machine outside the hotel parking lot by entering a code sent via email, so check-in is possible even very late. The rooms are cleaned on Wednesdays...

Overall the hotel is really nice. The room was a bit old and smelly, also a bit dark. On the other hand, breakfast was really nice: nice variety, good tea, very cosy breakfast area, good service. Also I can mention small parking: it is rather small, and if you come late you might need to look for the place in the city.

The cleanliness of the rooms and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff are definitely worth more than 5 stars! A very romantic hotel.. All the employees were very kind. The rooms are spacious, clean. You get a key like from the Middle Ages, to really feel like you are in a castle. The breakfast is excellent. The surroundings with the gardens are beautiful. We really enjoyed it.

Very good hotel on our way from Balaton, Hungary to Travemünde where our ferry leaves to Finland. Great service and they even spoke Englis well 🙏 If you have older dogs wth some leg problems, then the stairs to accommodation facilities might be too much. Apartment is in amazing nature. It is very close to tram 11 which takes you on all top locations in Dresden. Apartment is very clean with everything you need. Neighborhood is beautiful.

Small, initial problems on arrival were resolved immediately to our complete satisfaction. We stayed in Suite 5 and felt very comfortable there (spacious, chic and everything necessary available). The location of the apartment is perfect - quiet, pleasant forest air and everything important nearby. It's a shame that we couldn't use the pretty terrace for breakfast (due to the time of year).

Nice little hotel at reasonable prices not far from city center. Rooms are small but clean, the employees are friendly and very helpful and the breakfast is good although I found a bit prizey with 10 Euro. However they are not prepaired for cyclisr as there is no space to keep your bicycle safe over night.

This was a pleasant and worthy stay for one night in Dresden! Friendly, clean, small rooms in a 90's ambiente! Free parking! Close to downtown with a car.

Although the hotel felt old overall, it wasn't a problem for a one-night stay. There was dust and mold on the windowsill, so I wish they'd cleaned it more thoroughly. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, but the restaurant staff at the hotel where I had dinner were rude and the food was subpar.

The Hotel is situated outside the city centre but perfectly connected to public transport. It feels safe and is very clean. Staff are friendly. Downsides for us: bathtub/shower very slippery, shower curtain sticks to everything and the water temperature fluctuates. Would still recommend and we will be back.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Dresden. The reception staff, room and bar were fine. Had breakfast at the hotel which was ok but limited choice. It's a 30 minute tram ride into the centre of Dresden & the tram stop is 200 metres from the hotel, or it's a 20 minute taxi ride.

I booked this hotel for my family trip to Dresden. It was far from the center of Dresden, so it would be difficult to get there by bus. If you have a car, it's cheap, clean, and recommended.

The restaurant is highly recommended. A cozy atmosphere. Excellent menu selection. We dined there twice and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed here on our bike tour and felt very comfortable! It's a great hotel, friendly, everyone is really committed and helpful, with excellent service and a friendly atmosphere! The food and, of course, the beer were delicious; we enjoyed everything. We'd be happy to come back!

satisfied! super cozy place, there were 4 of us but the "children" beds were not the best, but they did their job, nice room anyway, spacious and cozy restaurant and good breakfast

Dream of Dresden I hadn't heard of this hotel before. But it's simply a dream. You feel at home from the moment you arrive until you leave. Everyone here is incredibly friendly. I felt like a family guest and would happily return.

Very pleasant little hotel, clean and tidy rooms with nice little touches like flip-flops, hygiene and toothbrush sets as well as a Smart TV

the canopy bed was a nice touch.
