Nice hotel in a perfect environment for a hiking vacation with a confortable stay (+sauna!). The staff was nice and accomodating.

We attended the Christmas night ballroom dance and had a lovely time. The ballroom is beautiful and has a really nice floor. The music was good. We discovered dance by chance and went because we were staying nearby. We will be going back next Christmas. Update we have been coming every year for the dance except during covid.

food was average but I give 4 stars mainly because of waiters which were generally quite nice and normal. I found it to be an exception in the area of Sachsische Schweiz

A very romantic hotel.. All the employees were very kind. The rooms are spacious, clean. You get a key like from the Middle Ages, to really feel like you are in a castle. The breakfast is excellent. The surroundings with the gardens are beautiful. We really enjoyed it.

Although the hotel felt old overall, it wasn't a problem for a one-night stay. There was dust and mold on the windowsill, so I wish they'd cleaned it more thoroughly. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, but the restaurant staff at the hotel where I had dinner were rude and the food was subpar.

The Hotel is situated outside the city centre but perfectly connected to public transport. It feels safe and is very clean. Staff are friendly. Downsides for us: bathtub/shower very slippery, shower curtain sticks to everything and the water temperature fluctuates. Would still recommend and we will be back.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Dresden. The reception staff, room and bar were fine. Had breakfast at the hotel which was ok but limited choice. It's a 30 minute tram ride into the centre of Dresden & the tram stop is 200 metres from the hotel, or it's a 20 minute taxi ride.

I booked this hotel for my family trip to Dresden. It was far from the center of Dresden, so it would be difficult to get there by bus. If you have a car, it's cheap, clean, and recommended.

The hotel is very clean and the staff super friendly. The twin beds on the other hand is pretty narrow and my son actually fell off a couple of times during the night waking me up in a fright lol.

Very relaxing place. Close to Dresden, too. The bus takes 15min and leaves every 10min. They have a gym, wonderful breakfasts, and you can bring your dog (10euro surcharge). If you are lucky, you can get a room facing Dresden and watch lovely city lights at night

Check-in took at least 30 minutes, and they charged incorrectly. The room faces the street and is very noisy. The air conditioning is also very loud and doesn't work properly. The bathroom is leaking water. The bathroom light is broken. The lobby constantly smells of the restaurant next door, which doesn't taste good. Definitely not a 4-star hotel as described.

Our stay is overall great. We had a very convenient accomodation. We would like to stay again here if we will come back someday in Dresden.

Friendly personal service at this family owned hotel. Reservation easily made by email with no advance payment requirement in my case. Everyone most helpful, good quality breakfasts, excellent standard of accommodation and surprisingly modest pricing. They even presented me with a gift of their home made marmalade when I left. I would certainly book the Arteshof if I visit Dresden again

The lobby is quite large, with a gym next door. The service was acceptable. The mattress in the room was too soft and the problem persisted even after three nights. The breakfast was average. Besides sausage, butter, bread, and fruit, it was also canned sugar. I was a little disappointed. It's a 20-minute walk from the old town.

Great city location Fantastic location by the river in the Altstadt. All of the main sights are walkable and closeby. Room was comfortable with a fan provided as there is no air conditioning. No car park, so use the adjacent street until the bridge car park reopens (€6 per 24hrs).

Location is great, staff are expremely helpful. We arrived early because our train got in 2 hours early but we were still able to get our apartment. The apartment was beautiful, well thought out and really good quality. Great bed, lovely bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen and a nice inner courtyard. Lockers where you can store your bags if you have a late departure.

Beautiful location and a spacious apartment. The welcome wasn't very friendly, and the apartment smelled musty. The decor is a bit outdated. Breakfast was delicious.

Inside the old city, in an old house, the room is large and tall, making it very comfortable to live in. Parking is also convenient. The room is only equipped with a small fan, no air conditioning. It's not too hot now, so the small fan is enough, but it would be too hot if it gets hot. It's a very good apartment.

We stayed 6 days. No room service. Toilet paper was not resupplied although we asked for it. High old fashioned bathtub, dangerous to climb into. Beds were not very confortable. Appartment was quiet and spacious. Public parking has to be prepaid daily. The strong point is the good location.

What everyone says here is true. Location and view really unbeatable. It’s clean and there’s a kitchen and laundry. No freezer compartment. Decor is spartan but the beds are very comfortable. Some practical comments. Room cleaning and towels were billed extra. No bottled was or free coffee. They use old school room keys, big and heavy and meant to be left at reception which is only open until 1900...

Rooms need updating, no coffee, tea or bottled water provided as other apartment hotels in Germany. Wifi extremely spotty, needed to get a gigacube which was supplied by management, Though washing machine is provided it’s very difficult to interpret especially if you don’t know German.

Not very satisfied with this stay. I booked a superior double room but ended up with one where the bathroom was oddly in the middle of the room. Paid €25 more than the price shown on Google, and breakfast was not included. Facilities are dated, but the location is excellent. Overall, about 3.5–4 out of 5.

Great NH hotel. Fantastic location, perfect view and an excellent wellness spa/sauna area. Car parking was extremely convenient. Cocktails at the bar were lovely. We skipped breakfast here, but the bakery right out the front door was perfect for a quick bite.

While the view was certainly pleasant, our overall service experience during the 2-night stay was mixed. Upon arrival, there was a difference in understanding between the hotel and ourselves regarding the reserved room, which led to some initial inconvenience. It was a delightfully awful experience with the Hilton chain. A gorgeous wrapper (the entrance and the glowing sign) with a rotten candy inside — low ceilings, pitiful room and hallway decor, walls painted sometime around the early 2000s, and carpets that have clearly survived several world events.
