Akzent Berghotel Rosstrappe in Thale

Possibly the worst restaurant experience I have ever dealt with in my life. There was some kind of renovation happening with the hotel. The workers decided to set up their equipment in the middle of the outdoor seating area where we were all trying to enjoy lunch. Besides the safety aspect the noise was horrible. They were cutting metal pipes and everyone was really shocked and distressed by the high pitch noise.When we asked the waiter why they are doing it in the middle of the restaurant she rudely shrugged her shoulders and said they need to work. We asked why they simply could not set up their work around the corner, she rolled her eyes and walked off. It makes no sense? They are trying to run a hotel and restaurant business and they have no regards for the customers. Meals were also really terrible and very over priced. Avoid!!

Room: Comfort mostly comparable to a 2-Star Hotel, very noisy: you can hear the adjacent room guests taking a shower. Old fashioned bath room, but clean.
Food: Quality is average, but food prices are skyrocketing high - at least 50% higher than elsewhere. The same goes for beer: € 5,20 for 0.5l is way too expensive compared to entire Germany. Guess why the menu is not displayed on the hotel website.
Ownership: The owner is unfriendly & has a strange attitude (you can read his weird comments from time to time).
Service: Was OK - not more or less.
Overall: Bring your food and/or drinks from a different place & enjoy the outlook over Thale. Don't mess with expensive and uneasy circumstances of the Hotel.

They do not understand a word of English, internet sucks entirely and they don’t care. Breakfast would be ok if there was no mould on the bread. Walls are very thin so you will hear your neighbor snore as if he was lying in bed with you.
