Tony at reception is ready to help out. Maddox in the restaurant is great. He just graduated from apprentice training, four months ago, and doing an excellent job with a "can-do" personality. There's another young man who seems all about getting your order quickly and getting on with things. It seems after the food's on the table he's too busy nabbing the next customer. He's full of a lot of "we can't do that"s, whereas Maddox is ready to figure out an alternative or make your need possible. We observed Maddox cleaning all of the tables after the guests had left, even the other waiters. This other person seems like a real go getter, this just doesn't seem like the proper environment for it. Perhaps a fast food chain might suit him better.
The guest rooms with conjoined shower and tub share one container of body wash & shampoo and no wash clothes. If a person tries to access either bottle from the tub they're going to break their neck. Poorly thought out. On the other hand the towel warmer is terrific. It keeps the bathroom, the tile floor and towels toasty warm. While not thirsty the towels are a nice size.
The engineering man is helpful, quick, effective and busy, busy, busy!

We stayed for one night. The receptionist was helpful and there was no wait. Our room was of average size and had no carpet and was spotless clean. The bathroom had a walking shower and a tub both in a separate compartment. There was a free bottle of water in our room together with a hand written greeting card. The curtains were light proof. Our bed was a queen size even though we had booked a king. There was only one large blanket for the both us. The air-conditioned worked perfect in the bedroom and the large radiator in the bathroom warmed our towels, the provided bathrobes and the room. We booked city tickets with the concierge and used the in-house restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both food offerings were good enough for our one night trip but neither is recommendable. The stuff in the entire business was helpful and kind. Located just at the end of the Zwinger castle. We walked to the downtown church and historic sites.

We had a short stay over here. The location is great! Service was warm n friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall a good experience:)

Have stayed at this hotel many times. The location is excellent, easy to get to the city. The hotel facilities need to be updated. The service is in place. The food in the hotel's restaurant is good and the service is good. The rooms for guests with pets are a bit unsatisfactory and there is room for improvement.
