Overpriced hikers hostel claiming to be a hotel. There was one fixed menu of 1 soup 1 main with meat and desert. I asked if I could have just the soup and some chips - NO- not possible to deviate. No other restaurants around and even the nearest was closed on a Monday. Really lovely Czech mother and daughter serving the beer was a positive . Room was small and in need of updating - lovely garden - could not see any other facilities although my husband saw a small whirlpool which wasn’t working and the “pool” had seen better days. The only thing to recommend this place is the location.

We came down this way from Lilienstein. After the Hike up and than back down we needed a Beer and some Food. We decided to have the Potato Soup. It was very good. The Beer was cold and we where able to sit outside and enjoy our break. Very interesting History and how this family revitilized this place.

Stopped for lunch with the family in the hotel - so can’t comment on the hotel rooms. However, the location is amazing: quiet, great views, just super relaxing.
The owners are super nice and welcoming, service was great, and the food was very tasty as well.
Do watch out for their opening hours as unfortunately they don’t have enough guests to always be open :/ if you’re a bigger group however, let them know in advance and they might open up for you?

Unfortunately, just passing through, I was 2 weeks ago, the room with the sounding name "cowshed": very tastefully furnished, the bathroom with extra wide shower tray, all Sandstone colors, the view from the bed on the spacious terrace at the Pfaff stone. In the Morning, in the twilight, in 30 minutes on the Plateau of the lilies stone, to experience the sunrise above the sea of fog in the Elbe-loop. Afterwards, a delicious Breakfast was waiting in the buffet, the left nothing to be desired. The nice Boss lady and her well-coordinated Team care for with warm attention to the guests. An absolute relaxing atmosphere where you can feel completely happy, if you let it. Next Time will booked for longer . . .

A visit to the Hotels for lunch, at 3. The Advent of 2015, was a disappointment. We were 6 people and chose different dishes.
The dishes were carelessly garnished, potatoes very hard. The price-performance ratio is not right here at all. The overall impression of the food served was reminiscent of a bistro a visit.
In connection with the magnificent and stunning location of the hotel,
in the middle of the Saxon Switzerland, should be an improvement.

Wanted to eat with 6 people to lunch. Unfortunately, Monday was a spontaneous rest day, although all signs Wednesday as a day of rest was discharged. VERY UGLY.

After a beautiful hike, we stopped at the panorama hotel Lilienstein. In the beer garden, we have eaten a Cup of ice. The service was swift and very friendly. The ice cream also tasted quite delicious. For a small break from Hiking, you can stop here. I will definitely come back again.

The Hotel is located in a beautiful position (view of the fortress king stone) and the hotel management is very concerned about the Welfare of the guests.
Rooms are very nice and the food is excellent.
For tours to the Malerweg (8 stages) and excursions in the Saxon Switzerland, the Hotel is very good.
We will certainly come back again.

We were only on a short visit, a Cup of coffee and a delicious ice cream sundae. Our main reason was that we wanted to take pictures with our bikes. And the Hotel gave us the opportunity to do so. Thank you...

The photo workshop went on for 3 days for the photo Studio in Berlin, and the 6 participants in the Saxon Switzerland. Since we had already stayed several times at the panorama hotel Lilienstein, we knew from the cosy atmosphere and the friendly & personal service, and selected for the Workshop the Hotel. We and all the participants were impressed by the panorama hotel Lilienstein. The Service was excellent, the food very tasty and the location is unique. We will be back, guaranteed, and are already looking forward to it.
