Cosy calm warm hotel in historical building

A very nice, simple hotel. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, cozy, and clean. They are a good size.
Due to its location, it is also very quiet.
The hotel offers a sauna, infrared cabin, and whirlpool. However, all of these are only available for an extra charge and for your exclusive, private use. This means you have to reserve them, unfortunately several days before your arrival. I wanted to use the sauna spontaneously, but there was no chance, as someone had already reserved it (two people using it consecutively on the same evening is apparently not possible).
Breakfast is okay, small but tasty.
Overall, the value for money is excellent.
Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, and the kitchen was quite fast.

The breakfast and location were excellent, we had had a long journey from Holland to get here, it was about 35 miles from the autobahn and a welcome change of environment. One of our party had had an accident that required him to visit local doctor which was about 100 metres from the hotel and then hospital for a foot injury, the hotel were extremely helpful and kind, my friend unfortunately had to rest up awhile and wait for the RAC recovery and flight home which took a couple of days to organise, meanwhile local doctor and nurses were brilliant.
We loved the hearty food and beer, probably not so good for vegans. There is secure parking nearby if needed.

Gute/große und saubere Zimmer. Großartiges Bad. Leckeres Frühstück. Gibt eigentlich nichts zu beklagen außer die dämliche Fernbedienung für dem Fernseher :D

We were with our little son in the garden and had a large room with a baby travel bed. The room was clean and cozy. The location of Stolberg also allows visits in the kyffhäuser mountains. The food in the Restaurant is oriented with fresh and high quality ingredients for home cooking. The staff is very friendly and you will feel also with children very welcome. Unfortunately, this is not in many Hotels. We can only recommend it.

Very cosy historic-rustic Hotel. Very nice owner and friendly staff. Faster Service in the Restaurant with traditional cuisine.
Our room in the attic was large and rel. modern with a new, large bathroom.
We have enjoyed the 3 days very much, both in Stolberg itself as well as in the surroundings.
Sauna and hot tub, we have not tried.
The only Minus was that there were no curtains/blinds to Darken the room.
Many of the rooms are only accessible via stairs. You have a problem, you should ask in advance.
We would come back!

We have booked a short holiday at the Hotel Zum bürgergarten and were very kindly received. The rooms and the Service were good and the Restaurant needs to fear no comparison, as the cuisine is excellent. That was certainly not the last stay in this Hotel. Conclusion: to fully recommend.

Were housed from the 23.3.2015 to 26.3.2015 as a Couple in a double room.
It was all around consistent.
A beautifully decorated Hotel with a really good menu.
The staff was super nice.
Family Weifenbach has also asked personally whether everything is in order.
Nice trips made.
There were 3 wonderfully relaxing days in this beautiful Hotel.

A quaint, rustic and historic Hotel with good cooking. The staff is friendly and courteous, as well as the owner. Of Stolberg, you can start many business ventures. Worth mentioning is also the Thyra-Spa, a leisure pool with a sauna area, easy to reach from the Hotel by foot!!!
