A good hotel with a good location, a delicious breakfast with red fish. Friendly staff. But the lady who met me was rather inexperienced and asked me to pay for a room I had already paid for. After I said I had paid, it took her three seconds to verify it.

This was a very mediocre experience. The hotel is in the process of being refurbished (building work everywhere). I got an old room which was not on the main road. Even so it was really loud if I opened the window (and I needed to as it was so stuffy with no a.c. ) It would be unbearable in summer. The hotel now has 130 plus beds and the breakfast room is far too small. There were guests constantly walking around looking for a space to sit. In addition there is only one coffee machine as the other serves only oat milk. So the queue for this machine was unbelievable. And if you got to the front of the queue, there were no cups - the whole thing seemed to have been planned for far fewer guests. Having said that, there seems to be a shortage of good hotels in Flensburg. And it was ar least clean..

Big room, I think it was two separate rooms once upon a time. Perfect for the family, two could sleep a bit "offside". Rooms was newly renovated. No AC was a shame since we were there on a quite warm and humid day. Receptionist was friendly.

We were excited to try this hotel based on the positive reviews but we were very disappointed by the room.
We booked a family room and stayed for one night. The room was on a busy intersection, but because it was too hot the windows had to stay open so it was extremely noisy with constant traffic. The room itself was unpleasant - it smelled old and musty. All the furniture was worn out and dated. The shower head was completely caked in limescale and only produced a dribble of water down the middle.
Several of the lights were not working, and one of the power sockets was detached from the wall - a pretty serious safety hazard. The beds were also worn down and lumpy.
On the other hand, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good as well. Aside from the noise from the road, the location is very central and convenient.

I was lucky to find an available room and stay there for one night on a Saturday 07.10.2017
Positives:
1- The reception staff, Maria and Katrina were very friendly, helpful and polite. They gave me a lot of recommendations about the city and Germany. It was lovely meeting and talking to them.
2- I liked the breakfast, small amounts displayed and continuously replenished. There was also a good variety.
3- I asked for an extra blanket and pillow. I received them without delay.
4- I left on a Sunday, so not everything was open unfortunately in the centre. Therefore I stayed a little longer in the lobby, while I finished my work. They kindly let me stay.
5- The location of the hotel is very good and central.
Negatives:
1- The toilet needs a little repair and a little thorough cleaning of the shower.

VERY friendly and helpful staff. FULL breakfast (tons of choices, very good!), GREAT water pressure in the shower, comfortable beds, easy walk from the station. I Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return :)

Value for money , free parking , centre at 25 meters , nice breakfast, simple but effectieve bar with fair prices., it's not the hilton but for the night over we had more than ok, goed luck

Centrally located, very friendly staff. Room was medium sized but very functional and tastefully equipped.
My room was to the street and on a Saturday it was very noisy, but that's not really the hotel's fault. Breakfast was very good, service was very quick.

Das hotel ist von außen nicht so schön, wie von innen. Die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert und erfüllen alle Wünsche. Sehr sauber und guter Service. Das Frühstück war auch gut und lecker.
