After a bad experience at a different arthotel I was concerned this would be similar! It wasn't, it was fantastic! Great help for parking and travel in to the city via the tram just around the corner! The room was very spacious and comfortable, it lacked tea and coffee facilities in the room but two cups from reception and my travel kettle sorted that! I think this is a good place to visit, tram ride...

This was a lovely place to stay. Don't let the location deter you from booking. Just step out the front door, grab a tram, and you're off to see the beautiful city center!

Nice Service, friendly people, really clean rooms and the Art is very cool. It is really worth it to stay here. Breakfast was not included and I went and asked if I can buy two coffee and a bottle of water at breakfast and they charged the water and gave the filtercoffee for free. Thumbs up and a clear recommondation from me.

Adjacent to the beautiful main station in Bremen, with bus and taxi station outside there are excellent transport links. The breakfast was great and the Hotel has a friendly bar that's open quite late except midweek.

Room on harbours side has brilliant view, breakfast fine but not FREE, more expensive than other similar hoteĺs. Room only cleaned and beds made once in 5 days. Taxi not informed of destination thus unable to to take us.

We had a room with balcony, it had a wonderful view over the docks, close to a lot of resturants. Very highly recommended

Nice location, handy parking with EV charging available. Comfortable and roomy room, didn't;t like the split bed (2 singles making up a double) but a gap in between. Would definitely stay there again.

Been there twice already. I would go and third time. Price to quality ratio I would say is prity good. I was going to the Amsterdam from Kiel and that hotel is in the midd way so prity convenient . Rooms were clean , checking in was trouble free. Don't believe what other comments says it's descent accommodation for what you're paying. Showers were clean, rooms were clean. Don't know what all the fuss is about. I stayed here a night and the service was excellent. True some places were dirty but I wasn't bothered by some spider web on the ceiling... And the breakfast was as good as any breakfast, I'd probably come here again as long as it is not for a long period of time... Button line, it's an excellent place for a short term stay!

My stay was thoroughly enjoyable, not least thanks to the warm and personal service from the team: Both the older and younger staff members communicated brilliantly with each other and with me as a guest, without any sense of urgency. The suite itself was a dream: Room 14, my lucky find, is connected to the breakfast room via a direct doorway – a real insider tip! Free parking, a covered outdoor terrace...

It is commensurate with the cost of payment, kind staff and good cleanliness, facilities are sufficient to meet the needs. The stairs to the second floor are very steep, a toilet for tall people is problematic on the second floor

Sometimes in the evening there is no personnel at the reception, but you can enter the hotel anytime with your card and call them if you need something. Wifi everywhere and for free. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. I am not keen on the bathrooms in the room that have clear glass and no lockable door though. The pillows were not the most comfy and could do with updating. The noise from the corridor was quite noisy at times. The room was spotless. Disappointed that there was no kettle or tea/coffee. Useful to have a hairdryer. Was a single duvet on a double bed...

The room is big, and clean, close to the town

Stayed for a few nights at this hotel last week. It was clean and air conditioned. The rooms were a bit gloomy at the back of the hotel. The bathroom door didn't close properly. But otherwise this was a very good hotel with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. It is only a short walk from the main station and therefore ideal for business and tourism in the area. I would stay here again if I visit...

We had to extend our stay in Bremerhaven by one day and only stayed at Hotel Columbus for one night. The rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise. It offers a large variety of breakfast options from German rolls, cold meats, cheeses, jams to cereals, yogurt and fresh fruits. Staff is very friendly. We forgot a charger in the room and the hotel called us right away.

Pleasant hotel with very friendly service, the heating problem was solved immediately. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, the internet is very good, breakfast is also tasty, I recommend it.

I wasn’t a guest and only walked in to ask the desk to call me a cab as the Bsag was on strike. They treated me as if I was VIP, they were kind, offered me free coffee or cocoa (it was freezing outside) told me to get comfortable in the waiting lounge if I wanted. Just two wonderful wonderful ladies who managed to cheer me up on a freezing morning when I was trying to get to work at the other side...

The room was not in a good condition. The furniture is really old and requires a renovation. The room was smelly and the amount of trash was under the bad, we really considered to leave the place

The room was in good condition, nice shower. Comfy bed but under the bed was full of chunks of dust. It also smelt of smoke.. Local shopping centre 10 minute walk away and you can order takeout to the hotel. They were renovating so was very loud. Would stay again for a short stay but not longer then 3 days👍

The staff is very kind. I needed a place to sleep and that’s all. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. The hotel could definitely use a renovation though- carpet in the rooms looks very old and stained.

Excellent hotel, the receptionists were very friendly and professional. I made my reservation through Trip.com, you can choose if you wanted a quieter room or not. We didn't include breakfast in our reservation, and we returned to the hotel early in the evening, so it seemed quiet. The elevator is a bit small if you're traveling with a stroller, however, everything else was great.

Great location a short tram ride from the airport and 15 minutes walk into central Bremen. My partner and I stayed to visit the Christmas market which was fantastic - very festive with a nautical theme and great drink & food choices reasonably priced. After a bumpy start (the hotel had cancelled our reservation without explanation) the manager was very helpful and friendly and reinstated the booking...

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Nena Hotel in Bremen! From the moment we checked in, everything was just perfect. An excellent hotel with great sauna and pool. My only criticism is that the lifts were so dark, it’s supposed to be cool, that we couldn’t see which numbers to press. Great breakfasts.

We were heartily welcome at Hotel Nena when we checked in as a couple for two nights for a private visit to Bremen. Compared with other hotels the staff was extra friendly and helpful to find our way around the hotel. This hotel is special. Centrally situated you are in walking distance to Bremen Altstadt and the Weser. The hotel itself is an amazing combination of modern design, comfort and beauty...

Great hotel in perfect location. Hotel located in the city center near shopping area. A lot of restaurants and cafes around. Right next great walking route alongside the river. Hotel has good spa and swimming pool that works from 8am till 10pm. Hotel has parking but it is located in underground garage with a lift that is quite narrow and might be hard to park big car.

The rooms were basic, but clean and functional. The staff were lovely at each interaction - extra points there. The layout was odd, but easy with the elevator. Breakfast was a reasonable price and had a decent selection. We chose to park on the street just outside the property to save a few Euro. We will use Amaris on our next trip to Bremerhaven.

Very Nice hotel at a Good location. About ten minutes walk to the center. The hotel is clean. The room is big. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is Great, there is a lot of choice and it taste very well. Tip: Auswander Museum. One minus: warm room: no airco.

My experience was very good in this hotel, the lady at the front was really helpful. Although there is not much English explanation there, but when I had a technical trouble in my room, Manager came and helped me out soon. If I go back to the city, I would like to stay there again.

Nice quiet and clean rooms. Good service, helpful staff and a nice breakfast. Cons: - Must puchase for more than 10 EUR to pay with credit card in the bar. Quite akward in 2023. - No daily room service or change of towels unless you specifically ask for it or label your door. Pros: - Perftect hardness on bed. Good for my back ;-) - Amazing pillows.

This was such a great stay. The room was impeccable, very big and the staff was so friendly. The location was centrally located to everywhere I needed to walk to, by tram or train. I would definitely stay again.

The thinnest pillow in the whole of Germany & there’s many thin pillows in Germany!! I’m not used to there not being any staff around so that was strange & a bit annoying as I couldn’t get in to check in to start with. Something in the room kept telling me it was connected throughout the night, none of my gadgets but I assumed it was the iPad type device under the tv - no idea what that was there...

The hotel has a good location, but it's quite old. The toilets smelled like an old person's place, and there were several staggered steps from the hotel to the rooms, making it very inconvenient to take the elevator with luggage!

Rooms are clean and very well furnished. Bathroom modern. Staff was friendly but spoke very little German. Breakfast too expensive. No fresh rolls (only pre-baked rolls). Great location near the Weser Stadium. Fantastic view of the Weser River. We will definitely come back.

The receptionist was extraordinary. The breakfast buffet was perfect and the coffee very delicious. The room had a great view over the river and the hotel is perfectly located close to all relevant sightseeing spots.

Perfect hotel just by the river Weser. Free parking, tidy room, fantastic view and friendly staff. But the breakfast could have been better. Just plain cooffe and bread. But, but, I would stay here next time I come to Bremen, the city I love soo much.

The location is excellent for public transportation. Good connections to the city center. The room was quite okay. The bathroom is in desperate need of renovation.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and it was sufficient for that purpose. Personally, I wouldn't stay here for much longer. The room was an attic room with low ceilings. The beds were ok, pillows could be better. Overall cleanliness was good. The room didn't have any coffee/tea or watercooker, which would have been nice.

Traveling in group? Visiting Bremen?? Then lodge at Hotel Heldt. Nice and spacious dormitory rooms. Three and four in a room with a bath and toilet. Not far from University Bremen. Good breakfast as well.
